This company was really disappointing, has horrible customer service and does not understand the value of time. Their turn around times for vehicles are fraudulent, their work ethic is non existent and they do not value their customers.

My time is extremely valuable so I called about taking my 370z last week for my 30k service. I decided to check this place out because of its reviews. Over the phone they told me to come in on a Saturday first thing in the morning at 8am. I was the second customer to be served by Sam. Sam promised me that it would take 4hours to complete and if they found anything out of the ordinary they would call me. I looked him in the eyes repeated what he said and shook hands. Since i lived in Downtown Los Angeles I decided to kill time about 4 hours. I did not receive a call from them so I decided to check on my car my self and if it needed a little bit more time I would just grab a bite to eat.

I returned to their business at about 12:45pm thats 45 mins after their quoted time. I saw my car with the windows down parked outside and I thought my car was complete. I was greeted by an older man that did not have a uniform on, he looked like a customer. I told him I was ready to pick up my car. He told me it was not done and it would be done at 4:30. I have places to be and couldn't wait that long, I asked to speak to Sam. The old man was frantic trying to look for sam and he told me Sam was SLEEPING in a customer's car. He woke up from his deep lunch time nap and told me he was sorry. I told him I can not wait any longer. I asked him what he did to my car and all he said was he drove it to check my breaks he didnt do anything besides parking it. I was furious. He tried to create excuses for his lack of customer service and crappy work ethic. He told me he can take care of my car in an hour when in the morning he told me 4hours. How in the world am I going to trust some one with my car that is a complete liar, with questionable service, and lack of understanding that time is valuable

Sam did not have the courtesy to call me to inform me that my car would be late or if there would be an issue at all, Sam and his business does not value their customer's time. I found him sleeping in a customer's car.

They're honest and reliable. They don't overcharge or try to sell up repairs we don't need. My wife and I moved away from Alhambra but still come here for our car repairs.

I've been going to them for years, as has my mother. They have worked on four generations of Toyota Camrys.

They have always been honest, friendly, and reasonably priced. David and Sam have been there forever. I'm no longer in the area, but I still make the drive because I've been fooled before by mechanics claiming "defective O2 sensors" and the like.

They've earned my business and my loyalty.

Beware of practices at California Import Services. Both Sam and David are not trustworthy in my opinion and they do not truly value customers. After having my car worked on here, I ended up with new car issues.

They don’t torque the wheels with a torque wrench they just use impact gun. They replace my front and rear brakes. And adjusted my parking brake later second visit didn’t tell me and left it loose. My rear brakes are still making noise somehow from something in the brakes system parts are from Autozone. They blame the parts and I blame them for not doing the job correctly the first time and they didn’t want to fix it. They kept saying well if it’s not our fault we will charge you again.

David & Sam are the best mechanics around. They are efficient, honest & hardworking. The prices are fair & they will not give you the runaround. I needed a smog check si they ran the diagnostic codes & fixesd my fuel injectors at a decent price. Shop is about a 45 minute drive but worth every mile for the their quality of work

Heating took forever to kick in. Technician cleaned the burners and adjusted the gas pressure. Furnace now fires up instantly and the house heats much faster than before.

AC made loud humming noises during operation. The fan motor was failing. They swapped in a new motor and balanced the blades. Now it’s whisper-quiet and cools more effectively.

AC made clicking noises. Technician diagnosed a stuck relay in control panel. Replaced it and now cooling starts smoothly with no strange sounds or hesitation.

Cooling stopped completely during peak hours. System overheated due to debris blocking condenser coils. Cleaned the coils and restored airflow. Now it performs well even on hottest days.

The heater repair work done by this firm is of high quality, and their prices are reasonable.
