I rarely leave reviews, and when I do, it's because I'm so unhappy, but in this case I had to leave a good review.
Jose responded to my inquiry within minutes, and got me a quote the same day. His prices were very competitive, so I expected some slack in service, yet it was just the opposite, the service was amazing.
Jose and his team showed up in 2 days, his workers introduced themselves and shook my hand (not usual!) and they did everything they promised.
Another company wanted to charge me extra to "go deep" on my stump removals, but Joses team explained my type of trees only had 12" roots, so no need to go deep and charge extra. So honest!
I just can't say enough about Jose and JLG. If you need. Tree service company, your search can end here!

If I could rate 10 star, I’d certainly do that! I had two large trees in my front lawn. I looked for different vendors to remove those and I was so lucky to find JLG tree services. I called Jose and he showed up next day and offered a very fair price. We signed the contract and tomorrow his crew were at my house and removed the trees and the roots. Removing those trees was super stressful for me, as with one mistake they could have fallen to my house or my neighbors. Jose and his team are super professional and they removed every single branch and the whole tree with cautious and all the safety required equipments. The whole process was smooth. Two of my neighbors already asked me for Jose’s contact and as they noticed how professional he and his team are.

Jose gave a great price to trim all my ficus including some other trees for my backyard. He has a great crew that came in, did the work fast, and they even did the next door's neighbor's palm trees. They were very professional and accommodating to my request, so I would highly recommend them.

Jose and his crew did a great job. They arrived early in the morning and cleaned up all of the work that they did on the palm trees. Jose is very personal and friendly. The crew that he has working are very professional. Service was excellent and the price on the point. I highly recommend them.

Jose and his team are exceptional. We had several trees removed including a very large pine tree in our front yard with multiple trunks and a canopy that extended over our roof, our fencing to our side yard, our neighbor's yard and posed other challenges including navigating a chain that a previous owner had used to secure the tree. The team safely and efficiently removed the tree all while being conscientious of our property and our neighbors. They were incredibly kind about letting our kids and other neighbor kids watch the process, communicated clearly, and are overall a 5+ star team.
We obtained bids from 6 different tree removal companies and Jose was competitively priced and provided top notch work. Highly recommend.

I checked their state license first, or course. Owner Jose Guerrero was honest on the phone, admitting he did not yet have his state arborist license (I've been told so many lies on this score). He was ON THE DOT prompt for our appointment, wearing a subdued brown uniform (not the usual scrubby tee and jeans). He clearly knew how to prune a tree without pollarding, a process which maims trees, and I agreed to his price, which was appropriate for the work.
The very next day a crew of 4 showed up, again on time, dressed in highlighter yellow uniforms and wearing ample PPE including metal helmets and professional face goggles (virtually nobody else provided such protection for their crews). The truck was white and clean, all their equipment was gas-powered--and included a huge wood chipper. They took down a towering, twisted elderberry threatening a balcony by mere inches, its limbs interlaced in vinyl fencing, without either touching the building or even marking the fence, and pruned three other trees. They noted a "phantom" tree growing from another's roots and offered to eliminate it at no additional charge. They left in 3 hours and left not a single scrap of wood behind. More than a solidly professional job.

In 35+ years I have hired many tree trimming services without repeating any (although they got it done, one way or another). Jose's 15-year business is now my ONLY tree trimming business, FOREVER. Absolutely outstanding, all around. I especially appreciate how he protects his crew as well as his customers' landscapes and homes. I look forward to raising a glass in his honor when he takes and passes the CA arborist exam! Wahoo, you guys, be proud!

Excellent work on my 12 huge Queen Palms. Expert removal of 1. Trimming of other 11 with trunk cleaning. Care taken around house and perfect clean up. Recommended highly!

Great job from all of their crew. Came in for three trees to be removed and one palm to be trimmed. Very efficient. Team worked together well and did a thorough clean up.

I had a lot of work that needed to be done.

These guys are very professional. They wear hard hats, safety gear & use harnesses. Made sure the trees that were close to my roof were cut in a way that they did not land on my roof.
They cleaned up everything. My backyard looked brand new when it was all done.
I highly recommend their service.

Everardo and his team were fantastic. I searched online for palm tree trimmers and got lucky finding these guys. They removed 2 large palms with several guys and a crane, and left the back yard very clean with no debris or damage. I will definitely use them again!

We had to remove a large cedar tree that had died in our front yard. We got several quotes from other tree services but wanted to maintain the new lawn sprinkler system around the tree. Everardo was the only tree service bidder that was able to guarantee the sprinklers would work which was a bid advantage to us. He was very responsive and his crew was very professional. He had it all done in just about half a day with a large crew and lots of equipment. He did a great job and maintained the lawn well. We plan to use Paez Tree Service for future tree maintenance work (hopefully not requiring the removal of any trees anytime soon).
