Very professional work. They did an extraordinary job cutting a huge pine tree in my front yard. They are very fast and time efficient, and also very clean. The tree was cut perfectly with no trace whatsoever. The workers are also very nice and helpful, John and Francis handled the job perfectly.

To the would be customer shopping companies to prune, cut down, or plant a tree look no further. It takes a lot for someone to go out of their way write a review for something as trivial as a tree service.

Like clockwork what seemed like a small army came and cut down a nuisance tree, rooted, cleaned, and even repaired the affected sprinklers.

What’s even better is that I reported that one sprinkler was left unrepaired. I called claims department where Maria picked up the phone and sent someone out to reconcile the sprinkler not the next day but within a couple of hours. John fixed said sprinkler. When testing it out one could see that two other sprinklers also weren’t functioning. He didn’t have to fix the other two. But he did so anyway.

This is my first experience with West Coast. I don’t know these people. One can tell that this organization is tip top. This won’t be my last as I will only contract with them in the future. They have my complicit trust as well as thanks.

The crew that came to my neighborhood in the AV was awesome. I approached the crew and met the crew boss for the Santa Clarita area and the AV. Professional, addressed my concerns. They were quick and clean! I would recommend the company to everyone, that's why I'm here!

I had requested for the City Tree in Montebello be Trimmed.

I have Turf & of course don’t need a Gardner.

The City Tree drops a tremendous amount of leaves daily., I talked to Baltazar who works for West Coast, Baltazar took care of my request & came to Trim the City tree by the following Day of me requesting.

Excellent Service by the Company as well as by Baltazar & his Co-Workers.

I didn’t receive a service from these guys. One of their employees gave a badly timed timed signal and wasn’t paying attention to street lights and putting me and my vehicle in danger. I was driving in Beverly Hills where they had blocked an entire street and 2 blocks of residential driving roads coming from a main road. I was trying to be kinda about it and he proceeds to give an attitude.

Please have your guys be more careful and mindful of drivers! And to pay attention to their surroundings before giving a traffic signal.

Wanted to recognize this company with Ignacio Lopez and Marcellino on their professionalism and quality of tree trimming which was excellent. They really knew what they were doing and was non stop when trimming our parkway tree and clean-up with other team members. Our tree looks outstanding with the trimming job and I thank them for a job well done!!!!

The city of HB hired West Coast Arborists in May 2020, and they did a phenomenal job in our neighborhood. Every tree was trimmed and cleaned and cleaned up after. The workers, from trimmers to clean up crew were nice and professional with the locals. The city has trimmed the trees many times over the years, but never has a service stood out so much that I felt compelled to write a review. I don't know how much they charge, but I can attest to their quality work. Well done.

This company cut down a tree that was leaning on my car. When they cut it down they SHATTERED my back window. My husband told me a tree was leaning on my car when he went to work. I went outside and took photos for insurance purposes. It was early in the morning so I was waiting to call my insurance. Around 8am I went outside to call insurance and see my car-to find out the tree had been cut down and when doing so they shattered my back window. Called the company filed a claim with the city and this company who is contracted by them. Their response- the window broke from the tree being leaned up on it. Bunch of liars. I literally sent them photos of the window not being broke and then photos after the tree was cut and my window being shattered. I know they will not respond to this review and will not take responsibility for their actions. Seems like that’s what this company does after reading the reviews.

Gabriel Soto @ WCA and his crew did an amazing job cutting down my 60 years old tree without any damages to my yard and home. They took time and carefully brought every branches down smoothly.

The city of Lakewood hired West Coast Arborists to trim trees down the streets in Lakewood. The men who were on our street were very professional in marking they would be cutting the trees on certain dates. The day they trimmed the tree in front of our house they were quick and cleaned up the area after they trimmed the trees. I was very impressed. They were using a shredder and I asked if I could get some mulch. They were kind enough to fill up a few bins for me. Thank you for having such great staff!

This review is specifically in regards to: Julio Avalos and his team from WCA as contracted by RPU.

In response to fallen tree branches and other vegetation debris that occurred on 03/13/25. The response time was immediate. His team arrived early, surveyed the damage, immediately condoned off a safety zone which was clearly marked with a highly visible it markers, the crew worked quickly and with little noise or any other disturbances. Then proceeded to clean the area with great care leaving no signs of debris or trash. No pathways or driveways were blocked. Thouroughly impressed by the workmanship and professionalism.

This company was hired by our city to trim palm trees and left a HUGE mess throughout the neighborhood. We had plants damaged and we had to spend a lot of time cleaning up the mess they left behind. They should maybe have a worker cleaning yards as they work up and down the street..

Today we had a crew led by Luis A in Phx come remove 4 large sissoo trees. They did a great job, We are very happy with the outcome. They cleaned up their area and even made sure a nearby yard figure was safe during the cutting process! Definitely recommend them! Thanks again!

West Coast Arborists showed up to trim all the trees on our block in Monrovia today. All of the guys were so quick, considerate and kind while doing their work. And cleaned up wonderfully, You can really tell they take pride and have confidence in what they do! Great job!

This tree service was used by our city to trim palm trees along our streets. I watched 3 different bucket trucks trim different trees and they were all done with perfection, the operators were experienced with chainsaw trimming. The clean up crew left it cleaner than before the trimming started and they were amazingly quick. This is a great tree service!

West Coast Arborists Inc has been contracted by the City to trim the trees that are on our shared home owners/city border. They did an amazing job at our house. They posted signs on the tree a few days ahead to keep area clear. They showed up and did an amazing job trimming the tree and cleaning the property up after they were done. They were so careful around the landscape, always a challenge with stone and bark in a desert landscape…they did a great job. Juan Lopez Garcia was the foreman this job, and he worked closely with his team. I would hire them to trim our trees in the future.

Came to our neighborhood in Santa Clarita for tree trimming and the men are the most unprofessional. They block driveways and garages. Best part is they get bothered if asked to move because, I have to exit my garage. It’s not my responsibility to attend to their needs Maybe they should arrange their parking better so we don’t have to “bother” them when exiting our houses.

A tree owned by the City of Santa Clarita at the end of my driveway had branches that had grown across the driveway. I am moving soon, and a 13'6" high moving truck needs to be able to pull into my long driveway. A different truck that came for our piano couldn't pull in. I contacted the City, and they hired West Cost Arborists to come and save the day, which they did! They trimmed the tree back and left plenty of room for the tall moving truck to pass through, and they were also able to maintain a beautiful, healthy look to the tree. They came well ahead of my moving date, and so now I can sleep at night, knowing that my move will be able to go forward as planned. West Coast Arborists, you are lifesavers! Thank you!

WCA truck ran a red light and almost ran into me. This happened 7/29/24 at 8:10 am at the intersection of Jackson Ave and Graves Ave in Monterey Park right in-front of a daycare. You can see from the picture and my dashcam video, my light was green for several second already when their truck ran the red light. I hope the owner of WCA and their insurance company sees and handles this appropriately.

We live in NorCal. This might be done through their local sub. One of my neighbors engaged them for some tree service and they blocked my entire driveway, without anyone’s permission. It is illegal. My kids were late for school. I didn’t have time to wait for police to fine this illegal company. What type of business will be conducting their operations breaching the law? Unbelievable.
