Constraction reviews in Antelope, California

We recently had an accent wall done at our home by Max, and it was a great experience. Max was meticulous from the planning stage to execution. He also ensured the work was completed quickly to fit our schedule. His suggestions on materials that complemented our home were extremely helpful

We found Maks and Primespec Construction online, and after reading the reviews, decided to reach out.

Maks was professional, responsive, polite, on time, and of course did great work! It was a pleasure having him around and he was also very accommodating when we changed plans slightly/ added a project, and revised his estimates to clearly account for that. Maks also explained the scope of the projects very clearly, both when we hired him and each day on the job, and also answered all the questions we had in a professional manner.

We have worked with several other contractors in the past for renovations to our bathrooms, kitchen, and flooring, and Maks is at the top of our list for any upcoming projects. We are thrilled with the work he did for us and our family room is a beautiful new space after the work he did to remove an old gas fireplace, modify and expand an odd below-stairs storage area, change the access door to the space, and add beautiful new wainscoting.

Hire Maks and Primespec Construction - you won't regret it! :)

We had an excellent experience with Primespec construction, with Max advising us on how to maximize our home value and appeal, and Val installing a custom tile addition in our foyer/kitchen with artistic precision and attention to detail. Val was pleasant, hard-working, and methodical, making sure not to cut any corners. He is incredibly humble and makes sure the home owner is satisfied before he moves forward with anything. The end product is exactly what we wanted. We will recommend them to anyone needing tiling or remodeling work. Thanks guys!

Primespec Construction did an amazing job. Maks and his crew were courteous, timely, professional and always available if we had any questions. The workmanship was excellent and we would definitely recommend this company to all our family, friends and neighbors. We look forward to working with them in future projects. Thanks again Max, you're #1 in our book!!!

My home needed siding removal and replacement and I had 3 contract bids but I chose Primespec Construction to do the work based on their contract proposal.
Primespec followed their proposal removing and then replacing new siding after City Inspection approval to complete the work. During the repair and replacement they were always very clean after each days works was completed and my home looks very nice. I plan to have addition siding replaced and will again hire Primespec Construction to perform this siding replacement.
Maks Apanovic was always taking me through each days works and plans for the following day until all work was completed.
If you are looking to do any king of home repair or replacement I highly recommend Primespec Construction.

Maks from Primespec Construction did an excellent job of replacing the siding on our house. He was very professional, answered all my questions, and told me about any issues as they came up. He arrived on time, and finished the job earlier than expected. I would definitely recommend Primespec Construction!

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Maks. Communication was great, his pricing was very reasonable and his work was done quickly. The fence and retaining wall he built look fantastic. We’re looking at other jobs for him to do next.

Val did great job in fixing my mast bathroom shower leaking problem. Now it looks like a brand new one.

Max added a built in bench, cabinet and bookshelves, and crown molding to this room and we love it. This is our second time having Max build for us and it has always been beautiful!

Maks remodeled our kitchen and we are so thankful! It was a full kitchen remodel and he and his team took care of everything from the flooring, to raising the ceiling and putting in the cabinets. He kept us on the loop every step of the way! The end result is absolutely incredible and we couldn’t be happier! We couldn’t recommend him enough and look forward to working with him in the future!

Mak came out to look at some storm damage right away, listened to what we wanted, was knowledgeable and helped us decide the best way to replace the damaged structure, keep my fathers original design intact and make it sound again. He and his team were courteous, prompt and professional, now we can enjoy our safe and beautiful new patio cover!

Thanks for helping remodel our bathroom.
Maks from Primespec did a great job smoothing out our walls and ceiling to go from texture walls to smooth walls. He also installed the wainscoting recessed paneling. Will definitely be doing business with Primespec again.

The Primespec team did a wonderful bathroom remodel for our home. The project stayed on time and budget and the entire team is excellent. We highly recommend them for your next remodel project.

Maks and his team provided excellent service. They were very communicative, responded quickly to all questions, gave us a fair price, and completed all of the work quicker than estimated. Our crown molding looks beautiful and they left our home in perfect condition after they finished the job. We will definitely use PrimeSpec Construction again.

My husband and I have been so fortunate to be able to buy our first home this year. It’s a beautiful new build but it lacks that personality, warmth, and uniqueness that comes from a more lived in home. To start our journey, of making our house into a “home”, we came across Prime Spec. We decided to go with Prime Spec based on their expertise, time frame, and price. Our request was to add batten and board decorative molding to our master bedroom. When finished, our expectations were exceeded.

Maks left our home very clean and he was courteous and professional from start to finish. Prime spec is worth every penny and we are going to rehire him for a few more home projects in the future. I showed off our bedroom to friends and family as it is such a pleasure to look at.  We will soon be painting our room Evergreen Fog by Sherwin Williams to make our bedroom cozy and inviting. Thanks again Maks!

What a great company. They were very thorough and took their time. They were able to meet all of the needs that we had and did a stellar job. I would highly recommend to anyone. They were also affordable and reasonable with their pricing.

We were very pleased with the installation of crown moulding in our master bedroom and bathroom. Maks was very responsive when we contacted him for an estimate, scheduled us promptly, and the installation went smoothly.

Maks and his crew did an exceptional work on our home project. Even though there were "surprises" discovered in the process, the work was beautifully done in a timely manner. Will definitely recommend them to others,

Maks (the owner) showed up with professionalism the same day I contacted him for an in-home consultation. He gave me suggestions in-line with my style and taste. He provided me with a very fair and competitive quote. He came and finished the work on time as promised. The workmanship is outstanding with attention to detail. I was very pleased that I will be working with Maks on other projects.

Update: 3/2023
This would be the 3rd time I hired PrimeSpec to do finish carpentry accent wall. As always, great quality work. See photos.

I was fortunate enough to find Maks from Primespec Construction to redo my 3 bathrooms. He took them from the bland look of the 1960s and 70s and made them spectacular. His workmanship and attention to detail can't be beaten. We encountered some issues in one bathroom, and he did the repair work and brought everything up to code. He didn't overlook any details. He charges a fair and reasonable price for the job. I am 100% thrilled with the outcome. I would give Maks 1000 stars if I could. I will certainly use him again for my next project. Highly Recommend!

We hired Primespec to close in our upstairs loft into a bedroom, replace all carpet with new flooring & baseboards and we are more than happy with the results! Maks was so helpful throughout the whole process. He answered all of my questions, communicated with us during every step of the project, was on time and professional. His work is exceptional, it truly feels like a new home! We will be using him again on future projects.
