Reviews of local pros in Auburn, California

Mike and his team are incredibly good, professional and fast! They had the job done and cleaned up in record time. Highly recommend this team.

Mike and Joe were great. We needed a couple of trees removed, but mainly needed about 20 large oaks trimmed to keep them healthy and safe.

They were quick to schedule our job. And they got more done in the time than I expected they could. Using their lift, they were able to get hard to reach areas and were very efficient. They were professional and really easy to work with. And cleaned up all along the way.

Most importantly, we completely trusted the work they did trimming our trees. Our yard looks so much better and the trees look great. I’d highly recommend Lyons Tree Service to anyone and I plan to use them again in the future.

Lyons tree service did a very nice job of trimming up some trees for us. Mike & his staff are very professional and courteous.

Lyons Tree Service did a great job removing two trees from my property! Watching them work was impressive. They were skilled and professional very hard to find these days.

I can’t speak highly enough of Lyons Tree Service. A father (Mike) and son (Joe) team with the father as a licensed and insured Arborist worked with me and my neighbors to carefully remove a huge branch growing across properties that was a potential issue in a wind storm. Joe went out of his way on his day off to meet with my neighbors to help me get access consent. They did an excellent job on time and within the quoted price. Place is spotless when they were done.

Excellent work taking down 2 huge pine trees, 1 of which was dead and both right next to our deck. Estimate received quickly and work done within a week. Videos sent on job completion of the house, yard etc. Very reasonable price.

Lyons Tree Service was great! We had a large oak tree in our back yard that needed to be cut down for several reasons. They had the specialty equipment to do the job and were able to accommodate last minute request(s) for additional work. They are knowledgeable on trees and their conditions/health and ultimately gave us the insight for those last minute requests.

In terms of work performed, they were able to work near a power line and had no issues getting equipment, such as the lift, in the tight space of the back yard entry.

I hired Lyons Tree Service to remove a large liquid amber from our front yard. The crew showed up on time on the scheduled day and had the tree down, cut up and chipped in a few hours. They took extra precautions to protect the lawn and landscape during the job and thoroughly cleaned up the area when they were done. I never take the time to write reviews but I was happy with the quality service I got from Lyons. Call Mike if you’re looking for quality tree work for a fair price
7-1-25: Had Lyons remove another problem tree next to the house. This is the third time I’ve had them do work on my property, that speaks for itself.

Lyon’s tree service is fast response. When you need a a reliable tree service. I had tree that fell with the storms and high wind Mike and his crew quickly cut the huge pine tree that fell and another pine the was leaning. All I’m about 4 hours. Very good clean up of all the limbs and debris.

Had a large 130 ft. pine tree that was 5 feet from our house cut down and removed. Quoted a fair price and got the job done quickly with no damage to the property. We’ve used Mike in the past for tree removal and cleanup, and will be using him for future projects.

I called Lyons Tree Service of Roseville to remove some trees. They came out and quoted me to remove 4 qty 75-100 ft trees and 2 qty 50-75 foot trees. The quote came out around the same price as two other vendors but the difference was that I did not fee like everything was an up charge. Once I was quoted we talked about some options and agreed for the work to be done. We scheduled a time and the work was done exactly as agreed.

Michael and his crew came out took their time to remove the trees safely. When the work was done Michael informed me that it was completed and I paid.

There was no drama whatsoever and if I asked for additional work to be done I would ask how much it would cost to add the work they were happy to change the scope of work.

Thank you Michael, Joe and Lara for all the great work. Looking forward to having a large tree in Sacramento to be removed in the next few months.

Mike has done work for me at numerous properties throughout the years. He’s always done a great job, and is very responsive when I have emergency situations as well. Highly recommend!

We used Lyon’s Tree Service a couple of times now. Great, professional service and they had very quick response time. We’re beyond happy with their work and will continue to use them! Also very reasonable cost.

Mike and his team did an amazing job. They are very respectful and professional. They worked quick and did a great job! Would recommend for anyone looking for some trimming or tree removal.

Good at what they did. Came and got a good game plan while we got the quote. Clean and efficient. I would definitely recommend.

Mike and his son and crew did an amazing job. We hired them for two different properties that needed different approaches for each job that required the correct equipment and that they did having the equipment to get the Jobs done safe and with Consideration of our properties. Also we ask if we could keep the wood chipings from the tree cutting that we were then able to use for our land scapping. We will definitely hire them again for our future needs.

Lyons tree service was absolutely fantastic. Very competitive pricing, great communication, and quick removal. We will definitely be using them for future tree service. We had two very large trees in a difficult area between our fence and house that they removed with ease. Nothing but great things to say about this business.

I needed my tree trimmed so my home owners insurance wouldn’t cancel my policy. Mike was quick to respond. It was easy to get a quote with just a few pictures. He quickly did the work and cleaned up the debris. The tree looks healthier than it did before. Thank you so much.

Mike and his crew did a great job cutting down a small grove of trees. It was on a difficult hillside and they handled it efficiently. Really nice people to work with. They have high end equipment that helps get the job done quickly and safely. Would highly recommend Mike and his crew. They also cleaned up really well.

Lyon"s Tree Service has done work for us two times,. They removed a large cedar the first time, and pruned a very large oak tree and a number of smaller oak trees that were blocking our view. All work was done on a very steep hillside. They were quick to respond to our inquiry, and scheduled the work within a week. They completely cleaned up the worksite. I would definitely hire them again.

Lyons Tree Service did a great job. Mike and the crew were professional, on time, and worked efficiently. They cleaned everything up and left the yard looking great. Highly recommend for any tree services needed
