Have been bullying me for over a year trying to get payment for something the home owner was responsible for. threatening to ruin my credit and sending to collections. extremely unprofessional, but too lazy to get their money correctly.

I had built right inspect my house, my escrow closed on 9/20/19. On 10/5/19 my AC stopped working and needed to be replaced. Built right stated they had a 90 day warranty for the appliances including AC. They sent me a check for 500$ to replace a 6300$ AC unit. I did not cash the check and will be following up with a lawsuit.

Our inspection was thorough and quick. He made sure to point out everything he found and explained if it was minor or a major problem. He was also very friendly and professional. Well done Built Right.

Quick turnaround with same day detailed report. Made himself available for a second day to walk us through the property as we were not present on inspection day but needed report asap. Attention to detail, and able to pick up details that one typically does after having lived in the home.

From a seller's advice, buyers using this company be aware that there may be items on the reports that are inaccurate. One example; outside lights inoperable, that's because the inspector failed to notice that the lights are dusk to dawn sensitive so they stay off during daylight! A home inspection is meant to provide a buyer some insight of the property, however if the inspection & report is not performed by a professional licensed contractor then you may be wasting your money.

I highly recommend BRHI specifically bcause of their Inspector, Jason Williamson! I was really not looking forward to the experience of dealing w/ an Inspector & expected the encounter to be intense, w/ some rigid kno-it-all prsn who would intentionally talk ovr my head & bcome easily annoyed & defer all questions to a coming report! BUT, I was so thankfully WRONG & PLEASANTLY Surprised! Inspector Jason was at the site & going at it when I arrived, but he stopped 2 meet me & politely introduced himself. He was professional, but friendly & he patiently & throughly answered all my questions & just made me feel totally at ease! It was honestly 1 of the best customer service experiences I have had, no exaggerations. Jason really knows his craft & I could really tell that he sincerely enjoys his work! He was very engaging, supper efficient, very through & I'd give him 10 stars 🌟 but this survey only allows for 5😥 however, I specifically requested him the 2nd time I needed an inspection & tht experience was just as great as the 1st! That's anothr 5 🌟 so I can literally give him a well deserved 10! Thanks again BR for having such a great guy as part of ur team! & if I or any1 I kno evr needs a HI, u can count on my referral. Jason did a great inspection. Very thorough and very efficient. I've paid for many home inspections before and I have never received anything as thoroughly detailed. Be careful what you ask for. You will discover things you might not want to know.

Scheduling was a breeze and up front cost was clear. Payment was made very easily and hassle free. Inspection itself was very thorough and smooth. He verbally explained everything clearly and the written report was also just as clear and easy to understand. Highly recommend them.

Buyers who are looking for home inspector beware of how this company operates. I spoke to Bruke, i guess she is the one who answers all your question prior to inspection which is already a red flag. Speak to the inspector himself because she had told me different things than what was inspected. She said they will inspect the roof. There were 3 roofs, did not fully inspect the one in the main house. So what is the point of having an inspector really. They told us it is unsafe to go to that roof and have to pay more money for a specialized roofer to check it... had I known they will not check my roof I would not hire them. Second, the inspector could not locate plumbing therefore could not tell me what type of plumbing it is and if it is in fact in ok condition. I called and addressed all issue and the owner called me and he is super rude. Worst customer service. I would not recommend this company at all based on my experience. We own another house and we had an awesome inspector who covered every single thing. We paid this company almost $1000 to do inspection of the main house and septic. Worst decision.

They do a job...... Is it worth the extra you pay over other inspection companies, probably not. They stand behind the "defects" they catch. But do not warranty things they have missed. The entire upper framing running across our front window was completely rotted. As soon as we removed the mini blinds to start painting we discovered it. When asked we were told they don't warranty it, and that's what our home warranty is for. Which to our dismay, the Home warranty doesn't cover structural damage. They also failed to notice the rust and corrosion on the heater access panel inside the house. They did catch the brand new box of flex ducting in the crawl space, but i believe they referred to it as "debris"....... Just be warned , we used they about 6 years ago and they did a great job. As for the here and now, there is certainly some deficiencies in there service.

The terminology and necessities throughout the buying process really can be overwhelming. Being first time buyers, we had no idea what we were doing or looking for, but trusted in The Lord to provide. That blessing came as Brad Dobbins. I was given his number by originally calling an exterminator to set up a termite inspection. From the get go, Brad was patient and assisted me in setting up the inspection since my realtor was not part of that process.
Once the inspection was through, Brad walked me through and pointed out what he believed to be of concern. He was thorough, he was patient (seeing as I had my child with me), and above all, he was kind. I thank everyone at Built Right Home Inspection for the type of service y'all provide for your customers.
