Worst service in all of Bakersfield. They WILL rip you off. Was even threatening by an employee. Won't honor warranty. And will intentionally damage your ac unit, deny warranty too charge you more money. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE LOW LIVES.

beat prices, customer service, and job done you could get. I’ve tried MANY ac places in town, and my family finds that airco beats ALL of them. The owner, Sean is extremely personable, kind, and works with you to get the best possible unit and deal you can find in town. I wouldn’t recommend any other AC place in Bakersfield. AIRCO IS THE BEST THANK YOU SO MUCH!

This is our 3rd summer in a newly built home. Airco installed all ducts and equipment in the home for heating and cooling. The 2 AC units that were put in the home would barely maintain 80° and run about 8- 10 hrs on days when the temperature exceeded 100 degrees, and would cycle off and quit in the afternoon on days we needed cooling the most. I had Airco come out every summer at least 2 times, and they could never find anything wrong with them. The last time the repair man came out he said he wanted to get a new TXV valve, because his pressure was not reading right for the units. I had an appointment for the next week too have him install valve. They never showed up. I called and left messages with office, but they never returned my calls.
I finally decide to get a second opinion from another company. He said he thought both metering devices were not right on either unit He contacted York to get the right TXV valves ordered . They came in and he made an appointment to come out today (8-1-2023) to install valves. When they opened up units to install valves they found that no metering valves were installed. In all of his years he has never seen an ac unit without metering valves in them. They got valves installed in both units and temperature in house drop 4 degrees within 1 hr. So thankful they work properly now at the end of the 3rd summer. I just felt like I should let people know my experience. I feel myself, if someone was in the HVAC business they would have seen the problem when they tested the system. Or at the very least, one of the many techs who came to check it (5 to 6 times over 3 summers) would notice an important part was missing.
