The air conditioning unit they installed didn't last long before breaking down during the peak summer months, but they've yet to fix it. It's been over two weeks with no resolution.

I initially considered hiring them after a friend recommended it, but the overwhelming number of negative reviews convinced me otherwise. The lack of effort from the owner was particularly disappointing. Thanks to reviewers who shared their experiences - your input helps me make informed decisions. Needless to say, they're no longer on my shortlist.

We hired them 5 years ago to install A/C and heaters at my home, my parents', and my aunts'. The units still function perfectly like when they were first put in. Good job!

The service was top-notch. The crew was meticulous, courteous, and efficient. Special thanks to Victor, the owner, and Rico, the tech, who stood out for their excellent work.

Unimpressed with their service, we had to reschedule twice due to poor communication and scheduling issues. The technician's claims of completing tasks were misleading - they left old filters instead of replacing them, and the air conditioning unit remains non-functional. They also took advantage of us by charging an inflated price for R22 Freon.

He quoted a fair cash price upfront but wouldn't do warranty-covered work. Won't be using his services again.

Installed swamp coolers in June 2021, but one stopped working right. Had to call them back for a fix. Recently, after heavy rain, water is seeping into the holes they drilled on the roof.

Prompt service and follow-up. Tech arrived on time, was courteous and efficient. Procedures were clearly explained, and the system is working well. Been a loyal customer for 12 years. Appreciate the team's commitment, as always.

Terrible experience with this company. The technician, Rick, was extremely dismissive and unprofessional. He failed to show up for our scheduled appointment, wasting three hours of my time. No attempt was made to contact me or notify me of the cancellation. When I rescheduled, he arrived two hours early without warning, only to later ignore his own warranty. The office staff's complete disregard for customers is appalling.

Gomez Hearing and Air Conditioning responded quickly to our issue, fixing the aircon unit that stopped working over summer 2018. They chose the right equipment and installed it efficiently. Prices were fair considering the service. Their professionalism and expertise make them highly recommended.

This crew exceeded my expectations by far. They were incredibly professional and made a huge effort to make the homeowner feel at ease. It's clear they genuinely care about their customers, making for an exceptional service experience.

Disappointing experience with this service provider. They seem overwhelmed, consistently failing to meet customer expectations. After multiple attempts to schedule a service call for my air conditioning unit, which was purchased from them, it became evident that their priority is not the customers' needs. The lack of follow-through and professionalism was staggering, leaving me feeling disrespected and disillusioned.

I hired Victor to install a heating and air system last summer - he finished the job in one day and did an outstanding job. I'm extremely satisfied, which is why I highly recommend Victor for any future needs.

Avoid this company at all costs. We've only had our unit for a year, and they're already claiming the warranty has expired - now we have to pay for an inspection. What's more concerning is that they kept coming out right after installation to fix issues in different rooms. One room was freezing cold, another was sweltering hot, and some couldn't even get a breeze going. If a company can't stand behind their work, it suggests they're cutting corners on labor.

I made the mistake of trusting a family-owned business with lower prices. I should've prioritized cost alongside good reviews - which weren't exactly glowing from other customers. Now I'm cautioning others to be wary: don't let price alone make your decision. Sometimes it's better to put your trust in reputable, well-reviewed companies over cheaper alternatives.

This company is a complete disaster. They initially showed enthusiasm for starting work, but suddenly became ghostly quiet after depositing. A month passed with no updates - and to make matters worse, they lost the necessary permits forms. When I finally met with the owner, he tried to upsell me extra services, which I refused to pay for. His reaction was appalling - he became eager to cancel the job if I wouldn't budge on price. Unbelievably poor service from an unprofessional owner.

We thought it would never happen, but thanks to Gomez Heating & Air Con Company, we're enjoying air con this summer. After weeks of researching and getting quotes from top-rated companies, none of them met our budget. My coworker recommended this company after they installed a similar unit in their own home, which he swore took just one day to install with all the extras included at an affordable price. The owner personally assessed our house and resolved any contract issues on the spot - what a relief. We're grateful for Gomez's quick solution and expertise.

The price was fair, the installation was smooth, and the staff were friendly. A year later, a coolant leak developed in the unit. They came to fix it promptly, showing no hesitation about payment. Their apologetic tone over the phone put me at ease. The repair itself was efficient and straightforward, with no further discussion about cost.

I hired this company to install a system in one of my rental units about a year ago. Recently, the tenant reported that it wasn't providing cool air, so I called them to fix it. The technician told me they were too busy to come out that day and wouldn't be able to do it for two days later. A week after that, I got a call from their office saying they had the part needed to fix the system, but I'd have to pay $400 for the Freon to replace the faulty component.

This whole situation is absurd. The system failed within less than a year of being installed and the contract claims they're responsible for it for 20 years under factory warranty. It's either the entire system is covered or not - there's no room for interpretation about what constitutes a "part". Without Freon, the system can't function, so shouldn't that be considered part of the warranty too? I haven't been able to talk to the owners yet about this, but as of now, the system remains broken and I've been left with a $400 bill for something that's only 10 months old.

I'm still waiting to see how this gets resolved. If it was just a misunderstanding, I'd be happy again. The company did finally take responsibility for their mistake and offered to fix it at no charge after speaking with their Sales Manager, Edison Rossman. However, the delay and inconvenience caused by their initial response have left me with a lower rating than I initially gave them.

I just moved into a new home and hired this company to check everything out. They gave it a thumbs up, saying everything was working fine - but now the heating's not working at all. It's been three weeks since I moved in and I'm stuck relying on portable heaters to stay warm. The fact that they've rescheduled twice is just ridiculous. Now their phones are even down, so I've been unable to get any help. Their website looks like it was ripped straight from a virus. They promised to fix the heating for free because it supposedly worked - but instead I got a holiday gift of no heat and complete radio silence. The lack of concern from this company is staggering. Despite my repeated attempts to contact them, whether by phone or email, I've gotten nothing. It's like they're not even trying. This whole experience has been an absolute disaster, and I would advise others to steer clear of Gomez heating and air altogether.

I've been relying on this company for all my heating and air needs for years. They did an excellent job installing my system back when it was first purchased. Their professionalism is impressive - they arrived promptly at 7am and left by 6pm with the unit up and running. The staff were very attentive to detail, leaving everything clean and tidy behind them. When I had a problem with my thermostat during a heatwave, I was fortunate to get same-day service. Rick, the technician, was friendly and efficient, getting the job done quickly and effectively.

We dodged a bullet with Gomez H&AC, thanks to a neighbor's recommendation. Victor was knowledgeable and pleasant, which made the initial meeting go well. He quoted us on an AC installation and duct replacement job, and we agreed to move forward with his firm. The price was fair compared to other quotes we got.

I told him I'd sign the contract and return it two weeks later when the work was scheduled to start. Victor asked me just to hand it over to his guy when they arrived. However, when I called to confirm on the morning of the project's start date, I requested a permit and proof of insurance before proceeding.

I didn't get either from them, so I followed up that afternoon. The office person said they'd filed for the permit but hadn't received approval yet. I asked them not to send their asbestos abatement subcontractor if there was no permit in place. They agreed to reschedule the subcontractor and asked Victor to call me back.

That's exactly what happened - within five minutes, the office person called again to say Victor had changed his mind about doing the job altogether. Given the circumstances, I'm relieved that things didn't go forward as planned.
