Alex Soto and Zenith Roofers are A++ and came to our rescue to resolve a time-pressured emergency. Beware homeowners... insurance companies in CA are reviewing roofs using aerial photography and even a shadow in a photo is enough for them to suspect that your roof is faulty and put you into a "non-renewal" status... meaning your policy is going to get cancelled unless you get a licensed roofer to inspect and write a report determining your roof to be in good shape. A little panic on our end because our roof is in good shape/no leaks, and we couldn't quite be sure what would satisfy the insurer, and we didn't want to have to redo the whole roof. Of all the local roofing companies we reached out to (who actually called us back...), Zenith came to assess our situation within the week, promptly gave us a bid and detailed scope of suggested work, AND said they could quickly fit our small job into their busy schedule. Alex understood the assignment!! Other roofers couldn't guarantee a date to schedule the work for months ahead, and the clock was ticking. Trust me, you don't want your homeowner's insurance policy cancelled if you can avoid it. We didn't want to take any chances, so we had Zenith go above and beyond what the insurance company was concerned with, and their professional and well-documented work was approved by our insurer in less than 24 hours after the report was submitted. Our roof has many good years of life left on it, and when it's time to do a complete re-roofing job, Zenith is going to be our first phone call. Alex and Zenith, you do excellent work at a fair price, and we are so grateful for your help. I recommend this business enthusiastically.

I recently had a small section of composite shingles come loose. Even though it was a small project, Alex responded quickly with a quote and subsequent repair. The roof is about 30 years old and is likely getting to the point of needing a replacement. I would likely have Alex take care of the replacement.

Alex, his Dad & their amazing Crew did a phenomenal job on my Spanish-Style roof. They took care the City Permits, City Inspections, specific Spanish clay tiles, debris removal and always leaving the area clean.

Alex and his team have done an amazing job for my roof replacement. Communication throughout was top notched. Our old house has a layer of metal shingles on top of wood shingles. There are also layers of spaced decking in between. They patiently removed the multiple roof layers and replaced/patched any broken decking before installing new layer of sheathing. We went with asphalt shingles and everything was installed professionally. All inspections with the city were scheduled promptly and the inspector was very satisfied with the work.

They cleaned up my yard, roof and gutters after the installation. My house is old and the roof/gable/siding has some quirks that only became apparent after the installation. When I asked Alex to help with fixing a few things AFTER the project is completed, I was pleasantly surprised that he responded to my text/call right away. He promptly explained how he can help and arranged his crew to visit my place to address my concerns. This is even though the work is outside the original scope of the project. I was extremely impressed by Alex and his crew that they always want to do the ‘right thing’. No taking shortcuts, no excuses, they always put the need of customer first.

This is one of the best customer services I have experienced with home improvement project in the Bay Area. Being an avid DIY homeowner, I tend to ask a lot of questions. Alex and his dad Leandro would always patiently explained the steps and processes involved, and that give me a lot of confidence in their work. I also appreciate how they are always on time and be the first crew to show up at our house. They would even wait outside to make sure they don’t start too early in case someone in the house is still in bed. Extremely professional and friendly.

I would definitely go back to Alex for any future roofing needs.
