He took our vague idea and transformed our entire property, front and back, into a magical space. There were so many decisions along the way, big and small where I now, after some months, appreciate how right Erol was in his decisions and suggestions. He has a hard-working, dedicated team who have been with him for many years. They are very skilled and took a great deal of care in keeping things clean and cared for as the work went along. Working with Erol and his team was a very satisfying experience in good design, good work, with people who care about their product.

Erol and his team recently completed work that was outstanding in every way: they did an exceptional job building a deck, stone patio stone stairs, fence, paths and landscaping. They also installed a watering system and path lighting. Neighbors and friends continually are asking for his contact information because the transformation of my sloped yard is amazing. In the new garden with deck and beautiful stonework, my adult kids now love to create outdoor feasts and hang out with their friends. I love the beautiful path on the side with a meandering walkway and wood gate entrance. My front yard and back yard have both drought resistant areas and bounty of edible plantings including olive trees , lemon, pomegranate, fig and apple along with lavender and areas with other lush plantings as ferns and maple trees. . His design allowed us to have a number of zones where we could spend time during COVID-19 and never grow tired of the space. . Throughout the work, he was patient, delivered everything on time, and the wood work, stone work and planting design are beautiful. He was very responsive to what I envisioned and gently provided multiple options to consider during the planning process. I highly recommend Erol and his team!

North Berkeley Design & Construction completely changed my family's life. We moved into a home that didn't have a yard, but it had a carport, large deck and cement patio. Erol came to our home for a consult, and our jaws dropped about three minutes later when his on-the-fly creative vision of our space described something we never thought was possible; so much more than a yard. We signed right away and the crew began immediately. They are conscientious and hardworking craftsman, who were here everyday. We have had a lot of work done on our places and have never experienced a group that is so professional, talented and kind. The job was done on time and on budget, and it is incredibly gorgeous. We use the space every singe day and we cannot believe how amazing it is. North Berkeley Design & Construction maximized our property in a way that still blows our minds. Our biggest take-aways for the experience are awe for Erol's vision and talent, and the speed and professionalism of everyone. We were sad to see them go! (When does that happen??)

He brainstormed ideas for the design, provided great insights into the design and construction process, and provided a clear bid. Once we got into the project, he helped to guide the design process even further, recommending ideas that ultimately made the final design simply outstanding. He was super easy to work with throughout the entire process - communicating clearly, setting and meeting expectations, and ultimately delivering an outstanding built result. Additionally, his crew is top notch and was super mindful throughout the building process. For my next outdoor project I will turn to Erol, 100%.
