A few months ago I ran into a situation where I needed a damaged rug repaired quickly. I called Rug Masters in the morning and spoke to a very nice gentleman who had me text him a picture of the damage. After viewing the picture he called me right back and assured me he could repair it in 30 minutes for a reasonable price. I brought the rug in and he did exactly what he promised - repaired it and it looked like new. You couldn't even tell it had been damaged! I was very impressed! And they completed the job in about 30 minutes and for exactly the price I was quoted. The guys at the shop were so kind and friendly, I could tell they are genuine craftsmen who respect the art and believe in doing a job well, no matter how small! I was very satisfied with how the repair turned out and extremely grateful to them for being able to do it the same day.

It is very rare to find a business like this that can provide extremely high-quality, same-day service with a friendly smile. I will not hesitate to visit this location again. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Rugmasters came to Oakland to pick up and deliver my rugs. They did a great job on my two rugs. I also needed to replace my rug pads and they offered a high quality pad with low toxicity, which really matters to me. I would recommend them to anyone looking to refresh their rugs by reliable professionals.

Jay and Rug Masters were incredible! They came and picked up my rugs from the Peninsula, cleaned them to perfection and then delivered them back to my house. We dog sat a dog, who didn’t exactly follow potty rules in our house. I called few places, Rug Master gave me best offer, and I am so happy with their service. I had great experience from the very beginning to the very end.
My beautiful, Afghani rug looks so beautiful. They came to pick it up, and then dropped it off back to us.
It is old rug, so I wasn’t sure how it will handle the wash, but they are truly amazing, and my rug never looked better.

Rug Masters did a wonderful job of cleaning my rug that had an assortment of pet stains and scents for a very reasonable price. They have amazing service, and we're very gracious about the fact that I left my rug there about 3 months longer than I should have. Overall a wonderful experience and I will definitely be using them again.

We have a very special rug we purchased from Morocco, but after taking it out storage it was completely ruined with dirt and dust. They did an amazing job making it look brand new.

My mom found Rug Masters a couple of years ago and they cleaned and repaired several of her vintage and wool rugs and she was thrilled with their work and recommended them to me. They have now cleaned nearly every rug in my house including a 1930’s wool/silk oriental and they also cut down and repaired an oversized Persian carpet to fit a room. They did such a great job piecing together the cut border to match the pattern - amazing. They are very responsive from a customer service perspective and their team is just generally a pleasure to work with and highly knowledgeable about different rug origins, the fiber mixes and how best to treat and clean. I highly recommend!

this is the family owned business who really know their stuff around rugs. Not only do they share the knowledge Of your precious rugs, they take beautiful care of them. I’ve been taking my rugs here for a long time. They are reasonably priced and do it the right way. The Persian way by hand. I highly recommend Rug Masters. Their turnaround time is reasonable, and their prices are amazing! If you have Persian, or any kind of tribal Rug, this is the only place to take them for cleaning and repair. I've come to Rug Masters for both rug cleaning and resizing and was impressed both times. I needed a very large rug resized to fit within edges and around a closet. The rug came out perfectly and I was able to keep the cut off section as a runner. They are both skilled and knowledgeable about all things rugs - highly recommend.

Rug Masters is the best rug cleaning and repair business anywhere in the Bay Area or maybe further. We have tried many over the years and were not very happy. We finally found Rug Masters about 10 years ago and have been lifelong customers ever since. We just had three rugs cleaned for a wedding and one repaired. Jay cleaned them so they look like even more gorgeous rugs. The colors pop out as they were originally. He repaired the damage, and it seemed like it was never there. He knows exactly what kind they are, who made them, how they made them, the type of threads and dyes, and what country they were made in, which was so helpful and interesting to us.
Not only did he do all this, but he made sure they were ready in time for our wedding guests.
We don’t know many businesses that are kind enough to help a customer who needs it, as well as do outstanding work at a reasonable cost.
I recommend everyone go to Rug Masters for any rug cleaning or repair, and you will be thrilled with the results. Don’t make the mistake of trying other places first. One of our gorgeous rugs was damaged by another place years ago. It was Jay who repaired it so we could continue to use it and keep it, as it was a family heirloom. We use it now!

Iraj was so kind and helpful resizing our rug! We took an 8x10 wool rug and sized it to a 7x7 square and it came out beautifully! The edges are very uniform. We’ll be back for our rug cleanings!

Experience with Rug Masters was great! They picked up my rug and deep cleaned it so well. It’s the cleanest I’ve ever seen. They did a great job! They were also kind enough to put my rug back by helping me move my living room furniture. Wonderful service and competitive pricing all around.

We had eight antique Persian rugs cleaned and repaired by Rug Masters. They did a lovely job. I was quite nervous as they are family heirlooms, but Rug Masters clearly took great care with them and wrapped them perfectly for storage. After that we had two quite large modern rugs cleaned and again they did an excellent job. We will definitely continue to be repeat customers.

Rug Masters did a fantastic job for us with two different large white area rugs. There were a lot of tough stains and 5+ years of wear and tear and it was like getting two new rugs back. They even shaved down the scratched up fibers on one of them. I highly recommend and will use them again.
