I've come to Rug Masters for both rug cleaning and resizing and was impressed both times. I needed a very large rug resized to fit within edges and around a closet. The rug came out perfectly and I was able to keep the cut off section as a runner. They are both skilled and knowledgeable about all things rugs - highly recommend.

Rug Masters is the best rug cleaning and repair business anywhere in the Bay Area or maybe further. We have tried many over the years and were not very happy. We finally found Rug Masters about 10 years ago and have been lifelong customers ever since. We just had three rugs cleaned for a wedding and one repaired. Jay cleaned them so they look like even more gorgeous rugs. The colors pop out as they were originally. He repaired the damage, and it seemed like it was never there. He knows exactly what kind they are, who made them, how they made them, the type of threads and dyes, and what country they were made in, which was so helpful and interesting to us.
Not only did he do all this, but he made sure they were ready in time for our wedding guests.
We don’t know many businesses that are kind enough to help a customer who needs it, as well as do outstanding work at a reasonable cost.
I recommend everyone go to Rug Masters for any rug cleaning or repair, and you will be thrilled with the results. Don’t make the mistake of trying other places first. One of our gorgeous rugs was damaged by another place years ago. It was Jay who repaired it so we could continue to use it and keep it, as it was a family heirloom. We use it now!

Iraj was so kind and helpful resizing our rug! We took an 8x10 wool rug and sized it to a 7x7 square and it came out beautifully! The edges are very uniform. We’ll be back for our rug cleanings!

Experience with Rug Masters was great! They picked up my rug and deep cleaned it so well. It’s the cleanest I’ve ever seen. They did a great job! They were also kind enough to put my rug back by helping me move my living room furniture. Wonderful service and competitive pricing all around.

We had eight antique Persian rugs cleaned and repaired by Rug Masters. They did a lovely job. I was quite nervous as they are family heirlooms, but Rug Masters clearly took great care with them and wrapped them perfectly for storage. After that we had two quite large modern rugs cleaned and again they did an excellent job. We will definitely continue to be repeat customers.

Rug Masters did a fantastic job for us with two different large white area rugs. There were a lot of tough stains and 5+ years of wear and tear and it was like getting two new rugs back. They even shaved down the scratched up fibers on one of them. I highly recommend and will use them again.

We had a living room rug that was originally a beautiful silver, gray, cream and black. Before long, it became dirty and dingy. We had it cleaned elsewhere but the results were disappointing. We thought we might need to replace the rug, but we looked around and found Rug Masters - and wow, the results are nothing short of amazing. The rug looks like it is brand new again. We are thrilled! This is the only place we will use for our rug cleaning going forward. Their process is very thorough and detailed, and the results speak for themselves.

Rug Masters did a breast job with our antique wool & silk carpets. Very responsive & friendly. They also delivered to our house for free! I highly recommend them.

We have had Jai of Rugmasters clean and /or repair our Persian rugs for a dozen years. He is extremely knowledgeable about Persian rugs and does a superb job — the rugs look great when he returns them plus he picks up and delivers at our convenience. I have a beautiful white shag rug that was pretty dirty and had lost its brightness. I brought it to Rug Masters they washed it by hand. It looks brand new! Literally like when I first bought it! The white is so bright now and it lights up my Living room. I highly recommend this place for rug cleaning. They are extremely professional and very nice!

For many years I have trusted Rug Masters and Jay with all of our vintage Tibetan and Nepalese rugs (one quite rare) for both repairs & cleaning and the results have always exceeded expectations - especially this time when we required more repairs to one rug.
Importantly, we take comfort in knowing that their cleaning methods do not involve the use of any toxic chemicals!!! I might add that my wife is also a seasoned rug weaver who is a member of a national guild & knows her rugs.
Beings my wife was scheduled for knee surgery - 17 of our rugs had to be removed for her recovery and as promised our rugs were picked up and delivered right on schedule; completely restored while preserving the richness of their colors and repairs are exceptionally done.

In every case Jay and his team provide excellent customer service, picking up and returning large rugs to their place, advising on historical rugs, and helping me to choose a new rug. He is very responsive to texts which I appreciate. All in all a lovely man with a good product at a good price.

Rugmasters does exceptionally good work and their sevice made it so easy for me. This is the second time I've used them. Jay picked up my smaller Kilim and a larger handmade rug, both of which had lots of stains. He returned them a few weeks later good as new. I couldn't be happier with my decision and can highly recommend them!
