Used for Costco installation. They charged ~$300 for a mandatory Air Gap install, for a $15 part (from homedepot) and a 5-minute drilling job.

The standard market price for this entire service is typically $100. This contractor is exploiting customers with highly inflated, mandatory on-site fees. Costco should find more honest partners.

Ben Hernandez came to install my dishwasher. He was very professional and explained everything I needed in order for it to be in code. He made sure my floors were covered and protected. Great service.

Dishwasher installation went great. The staff was very helpful - walked through the features and maintenance, did a test run, and stayed to answer questions.

I had a great experience with Antonio Moises! He arrived on time, was very friendly, and took the time to explain how to properly use our new dishwasher. He communicated everything he was doing and was very careful with our floors and surrounding appliances. Highly recommend him for anyone needing a reliable and professional installer!

I had a horrible experience in the South Bay area for a dishwasher install with them through Costco this past month. Avoid using them during busy times of year. They're understaffed and rescheduled me twice. It's been 3 weeks and I still haven't gotten my dishwasher installed. They rescheduled my first scheduled delivery the day before. Then, on the day-of my 3rd attempt, they told me their delivery guy was sick. I ended up just buying my dishwasher from a different retailer but it's been a very bad customer experience.

We ordered a new dishwasher from Costco that was installed by Direct Connect Connections (DCC) on April 1, 2024. Juan Solorio and his co-worker were professional, courteous, and respectful of our property. They Installed and ran the dishwasher to ensure it was functioning properly and provided an overview of functions, including the adjustable tray and bottle jets. Juan provided a business card and cleaned the workspace prior to leaving. This was an excellent installation experience and a good representation of quality customer service we associate with Costco and professional vendors. I would highly recommend DCC as a top quality vendor.
The product we ordered: GE Top Control 45 dBA Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Tub, 3rd Rack, and Bottle Jets in white.
We ran it for the first time and it is so quiet- if you are looking for a new dishwasher, review the specs for this GE dishwasher- you will not be disappointed.

The delivery scheduling was horrible. This is at least the third time this company massively mishandled scheduling an appliance delivery from Costco. They make you hold open a 10 hour window & don’t narrow it down until the day before. This time they again unilaterally tried changing the date entirely and didn’t even have the courtesy to tell me. I had to call Costco at 6:30pm (wasting both your and my time) to find out … and they still pushed back when I insisted they keep to their word. Oh, and the customer can’t reach their scheduling department directly by phone, you can only leave a message (which in this case they never returned, hence my call for help from Costco). Why should I buy an appliance from Costco ever again? I should stress, the delivery men themselves were delightful.

Had someone named Joe come out for a new dishwasher install and saved the day. I had a surgery scheduled right in the middle of the delivery window and thought I'd have to cancel, but he arrived super early(without me even asking!), finished the job, and hauled away the old unit with time to spare. Was a bit anxious after reading some negative reviews but glad I ignored them, everything was was excellent. Side note, this was for a Costco dishwasher purchase/install.

I want to acknowledge the tech who came to install my dishwasher in Henderson yesterday. He was professional and kind. I’ve been dealing with neurological symptoms from mold toxicity, and I wasn’t in my right mind. I projected my own stress onto him which was unfair.

I want to apologize. He was did his job thoroughly and respectfully. I didn't catch his name but he had tats and was doing the job for Costco.😭 Thank you. Please pass the message to him if possible.

Worst company ever.
They are a third party company sub-contracted by Costco. I purchased a dishwasher from Costco with a free installation. DCC Direct Connect (based in California) sent a technician. He inspected area and said outlet had to be moved and be turned into GFCI. He also said he didn't want to touch water valve because it usually breaks and he doesn't want to be responsible. He suggested that if I pay him directly, he would charge $120 per service. It threw me off, because it felt like he wanted to cut out DCC Direct Connect services, and just keep that money under the table. I felt uncomfortable and didn't accept the offer and said I would hire another company to fix those two issues (valve and outlet). I contacted an electrician and he moved and installed the GFCI. I then contacted a local plumbing company to change valve. They inspected it, turned it off and said valve is in perfect condition, there's no need to change valve.

I then proceded to request another installation date with DCC Direct Connect. They set up a Saturday day installation but techinician didnt show - saying he lost his phone and couldnt communicate with us. Then we had to set up a new date on the folllwing Tuesday - again technician didn't call, didn't show up. We had to set up an apointment a week after Tuesday. She shows up with an attitude, goes to install dishwasher, and says valve is broken. At this point I don't trust this guy- I called DCC and talked to them, complaint, and demanded to get my dishwasher installed. Agent said company would have to charge a fee for valve change (which i honestly think technician broke). I said ok, DCC then talked to techinician and he didn't want to do it anymore. So now we weren't able to get installation. DCC put us on another date with another technician. It has been more than 30 days since we received dishwasher from Costco, and it has been sitting in my dinning room. WORST COMPANY with sketchy technicians. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM.
