HVAC reviews in Burbank, California

Craig fixed my furnace, which was making a deafening rattle. He adjusted the blower, replaced the filter, cleaned the burners, and ensured proper airflow. The heat came back on smoothly, and his calm demeanor put me at ease. His friendly attitude made me confident in the repair.
-
Misrepresented their call schedule and failed to show up as planned.
-
They did a fantastic job and were incredibly nice to deal with - definitely planning to call them back.
-
Had a great experience with this company. The tech was super knowledgeable and got to the point, fixing the problem right away.
-
Be cautious with this company - they can cause problems if you need to file an insurance claim, so consider getting an independent review beforehand.

Their subpar service has left a bad taste. Initially, they were supposed to tackle leaky issues, but their efforts were laughably inadequate. What's worse is that they didn't even bother to verify the system was functioning correctly or not at all – a complete lack of oversight. Under no circumstances would I consider this work acceptable.

Global HVAC did a great job, based on my experience. The technicians who worked on my heating system were very competent, arrived on time, and got the job done efficiently. They addressed all my concerns about the unit's performance. I'd definitely recommend this company - they exceeded my expectations in terms of reliability.

Angelo had a good experience with the AC service, thanks to Kevin's prompt visit during the heatwave. The technician showed up quickly and got the job done. A pleasant bonus was his affection for dogs. Prices were fair, and he left the area tidy. Angelo found Kevin very friendly and approachable.

My heating system failed and AHS sent Global HVAC for a check-up. The technician inspected it, noted a fuse was missing, but AHS refused to cover the costs. The whole situation feels suspicious and I don't have confidence in their company.
-
They clearly lack expertise on 2-stage units, which are widely used in residential and commercial settings. Simon incorrectly stated that my condenser needed a fuse when it already had a breaker - an outdated concept now replaced by breakers. The company needs to brush up on current technology and improve its customer service skills.

My AC unit just stopped working, so I reached out to my home warranty provider, who sent Global Air to fix it. Their technician, Simon, was really knowledgeable - he broke down what the problem was and got it sorted in under an hour. Thanks for a quick and competent fix, thanks Simon and Global.

I'd give these companies zero stars if I could - GLOBAL HVAC and American Home Shield's contractor, AHS. GLOBAL HVAC is a complete scam, or at least their employees are. On October 9th, 2018, two guys from GLOBAL HVAC of North Hollywood showed up at my condo unit to investigate the issue with my heat furnace after I filed a claim with American Home Shield.
The two guys did nothing to diagnose the problem - they just gave it a cursory glance and spent most of their time running the AC on and off as they tried to figure out which machine belonged to me, since there were multiple units located at the roof of our community condo building. They wrote up a report that claimed certain parts were missing or didn't work, but I called them out on it - how could they possibly know what was wrong without doing any real testing?
They claimed to have 40 years of experience, but they looked nowhere near that age. Their diagnosis resulted in my claim being denied by American Home Shield, who said the problem wasn't due to natural wear and tear, even though they couldn't cover it themselves. However, GLOBAL HVAC offered to fix the issue for a mere $399 - an absurdly low price considering the parts they claimed needed to be replaced would cost hundreds of dollars.
I told one of my friends, a professional AC guy, about this, and he was just as skeptical as I was. He couldn't fathom why the repair costs were so cheap, especially since it sounded like a relatively minor problem. So we both decided to investigate further - I used a voltage meter to check the igniter, and when I touched the two poles together, I saw sparks! It turned out that the problem was just a bad connection between the wires and the igniter - no parts needed to be replaced at all.
The only reason they didn't fix it themselves is because they were trying to scam me into paying more money. American Home Shield isn't trustworthy either, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. If you have any choice, stay far away from GLOBAL HVAC. -
Avoiding American Home Shield was a disaster. The technician showed up unprepared, complaining about a $5 tube that wasn't even part of their equipment. When they demanded it, I bought another one from a nearby store, expecting them to return with the report afterwards. Instead, they claimed to be too busy and wouldn't come back until the following week. Global HVAC's front desk operator handled the situation dismissively, making me feel like my issue was an inconvenience. Eventually, I found out I'd have to pay more myself because the job wasn't covered under the warranty plan - a ridiculous claim considering the technician just took credit for a pre-existing problem in my attic. It took AHS ages to process a refund, and that's when I decided to hire someone else.

Terrible experience with this service provider. They were inconsiderate, rude, and unprofessional from start to finish. The worker showed up without wearing a mask, and we had to wait because he couldn't find parking. When the issue was resolved, they lied about completing the job and still charged us for the visit. To make matters worse, their system shows that they finished the task, but the American Home Shield policy clearly states we have to wait for consumer relations to resolve the dispute since they claim completion without doing any work. This company should be fired - hands down.

We're thankful for Global HVAC's timely assistance. A day before Thanksgiving, our heating system failed, leaving us anxious about hosting our elderly relatives who were scheduled to visit. The holiday was at risk of being ruined without heat in the house.
Fortunately, I reached out to Global HVAC, and Sam arrived promptly the following morning between 7:30 and 8 a.m. He diagnosed the issue quickly and fixed it efficiently. He also provided guidance on why our system shut down and performed essential maintenance on both lower and upper levels of the house. We're extremely grateful for the service, which has restored warmth to our home, allowing us to look forward to a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration with our family. -
We called them a few days ago due to a furnace issue. Technician Kevin arrived promptly and resolved the problem swiftly. He was courteous, wore a face mask, and quoted a reasonable price - significantly better than our previous service provider. Overall, a great experience with no complaints.

We've had a couple of issues with our older home's AC and furnace, requiring two visits from Global HVAC. Both times, their service was top-notch - technicians arrived on time and got the job done efficiently. What impressed me most was the technician's willingness to explain what they were doing, breaking down the problems with our unit in a way that made sense to me. This clarity helped me understand why my AC wasn't working and how it needed fixing.

This company is a disaster. Don't believe the 3/5 review - they're just sugarcoating their terrible practices.
They make most of their money from contracts with companies that will try to weasel out of agreements, and it's clear why: their assessments are always inaccurate. When my compressor unit was supposedly on its last leg, their employees told me it had lived a full life. But when they went back to the warranty company, they claimed parts were missing - parts that weren't even needed or built into the unit 16 years ago.
When I pressed for clarification, they started backing down and admitting their initial claims were wrong. Even Google and two other HVAC companies got it right: my unit was properly cared for and had no issues. But the manager did nothing to address my concerns.
I'm writing this because I believe this company is fundamentally unethical with poor leadership and service. They don't deserve your business, and neither do you. If you value your money, take it elsewhere. Hopefully, this review can spare someone from a similar nightmare. -
I was referred to Global HVAC through my warranty provider after reading positive reviews, which initially gave me pause but ultimately led me to give them a shot. They've exceeded my expectations as a reliable company with two experienced technicians who provided top-notch service. One in particular stood out - the guy I spoke with was incredibly professional and took the time to diagnose the issue with my AC. He even called ahead to let me know he'd be back the next day, despite having to order a part, which impressed me. The office followed up promptly, scheduling an appointment for the following day. What struck me most was their efficiency, knowledge, and speed. I wholeheartedly endorse this company - if you can get Kevin on your schedule, that is. Thanks, Kevin and Global HVAC, for restoring my faith in home services; I'll sleep better tonight.

We were let down by your company's handling of our home warranty issue. Many reviewers have complained about this exact experience - your contractors visit, diagnose a problem, but come up with implausible explanations that allow the warranty to reject claims. It's unacceptable behavior.

Pedro was fantastic - he took the time to explain everything clearly and even showed me pictures to help illustrate what was going on with my AC. The whole experience was top-notch and I'm thoroughly impressed with this company.
I've used them three times now and every single time, I've received exceptional service from knowledgeable technicians who are more than happy to answer all my questions (and I have a lot!). They're able to break down complex issues into simple terms that even I can understand. While it's still frustrating to shell out so much for my AC unit, at least I know I'm in good hands with this company.
Hopefully next time I run into Pedro or his team, it'll be outside the context of my AC - maybe just a friendly face at a community event!
