Poor customer service. Saying can’t find my address.

Poor service missed several pick ups no one showing up when you call a message service.

I find them reliable. Service is good. I've lived in several other cities and must admit that garbage/recycling pickup in Burlingame is the best.

They were fantastic we had to close a 54 year old company in San Bruno and used 5 - 16 Yard and 10 rolling 3 Yard bins and it all worked out fine, Kristie was great to work with and all pick ups and deliveries were on the schedule asked for.

Horrible!!! They come in my neighborhood in San Bruno at like 5am to dump the dumpsters! It’s super loud and very annoying plus the city doesn’t allow for this until 7 am so they’re doing it against city ordinance and they’re being super inconsiderate to the people that live around here. It’s amazing how Recology manages to keep ignoring repeated requests from low-income neighborhoods to reduce their unnecessary noise disturbances. Do wealthier areas get the same 5AM wake-up calls, or is this ‘service’ reserved just for us?

Allen threw a tantrum because a competitor was late and wrapped up a quote when Allen was scheduled. Boo hoo

Never have been dissatisfied with Allen Tree Service. Thomas is very knowledgeable. Trees have fallen on our property after storms and we have called Thomas to come out asap to remove. Thomas, the owner, responses quickly.

Always does a great job on our trees! Shows up when scheduled and makes sure work is complete walking the job after. Highly recommended

Several years ago, I had used another tree service company to remove some trees in the back yard and grind the stumps down below the surface. A few months afterwards, I used Thomas Allen tree service to remove a tree in the front yard. At the time, Thomas provided excellent value and service. He was responsive to my request for an estimate, on time, ready to start work immediately, and gave a very reasonable quote. I was extremely satisfied with Thomas' work on my front yard tree so when one of the tree stumps in the back yard that was supposed to be killed began to recently grow back I knew who to call. Again, Thomas was responsive, on time, available to start work when I needed, and provided reasonable pricing. He dug up the old stump and ground it down the way it should have been done the first time. Thanks Thomas for getting to the root of the problem!

Daniel was very professional and knowledgeable. It took him only 2 days to take down a massive Oak Tree that had to be removed.
I was impressed and would highly recommend him !

They quoted me an good price and removed my trees a few days later. All the workers were very professional and did a great job. Steve was very knowledgeable and very helpful.

The boys did a great job removing our trees, they are fast, effective and cheap.

Received a quote promptly, but took months and tens of calls to setup a job date. When job date rolled around, no one showed up and no contact on reason. Unable to reach them (multiple voicemails, messages left with someone, and emails were not returned) for another month, until second job date was promised and then ignored again. All I asked (mind you in cordial respectful way) was confirmation on whether they were still interested in doing the job, but apparently that was too much to ask for. Honestly don't understand what happened here as they've worked on multiple neighbors.

They are very unreliable! I received a tree removal proposal from them and Steve the owner asked us to get a permit and took them over a month to scheduled a date but no show. After a few phone calls Steve claimed there were no parking that was why the job was not performed. Steve gave me another date and another no show. I have called Steve and the shop over and over and no one return my calls. How can anyone operates a business like this? They should be shut down.

Horrible service. Steve came by our home to talk a project to trim a few overgrown trees and gave us his recommendation along with an estimate. He told us he could turn around the job pretty quickly. We called the next day to book the project. The woman who answered said she’d talk to Steve and get back to us with the date. That was two weeks ago. My husband and I have both left a few more messages since then on their voicemail - crickets. Neeeexxxxt. Fortunately there’s a lot a other great companies to choose from, which we did.

Do not hire them. They broke our brand new split rail fence over a month ago while "trimming" our neighbor's trees. I say "trimming" because they did a poor job (didn't even finish it after being asked multiple times to shape and thin it properly). We gave them the name of our fence contractor and, rather than hiring them to do the job, they called them and attempted to understand where they sourced their wood from! Fence still broken.

They came out and gave me an estimate asap and the price was very fair and competitive to cut and trim an 80 year old maple tree. They showed up on time on the day with team a truck and chipper and did the job exactly right. Perfectly trimmed all way to the top and symmetrical all around. Cleaned up every stick branch and twig and left the yard in impeccable condition. Polite professional crew. I would use them exclusively for all my needs

Great company to work with. I highly recommend them to anyone considering a janitorial contractor.
