Tree reviews in Campbell, California

Bartlett Tree Experts was recommended to us when we started losing our Italian Cypress trees. Sean Davis, their arborist came out, looked at the trees, diagnosed the problem and made a recommendation to have them treated to stop the problem. Both Sean and then George, who treated the trees, were very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would recommend this company to anyone needing help with their trees.

Sean and his crew are diligent, prompt and very responsive to questions and concerns. Sean came back when I had some questions after the work was done, and he took care of my concerns right then and there. I couldn’t be happier with the job these men did.

Always great service and friendly crew. Job well done once again!

Arborist George helped us inspected the trees on our property and provided so many great suggestions on tree care and insect treatment. He identified the root cause for issues with my trees and taught me how to solve them. I have very limited knowledge about tree care. I’m glad I found Bartlett Tree Experts. George is so kind and willing to share his knowledge !

Being a Property Manager, I have mostly dealt with Sean Davis for my arborist needs. He's very friendly and knowledgeable in his industry. It's refreshing to be able to count on him to obtain estimates quickly and to follow through with the work once it has been approved. Kim at the front desk is also very pleasant! Thanks guys!

Bartlett Tree Services in San Jose is fabulous. We have them over once a year to keep our trees shaped and healthy. Here is a very impressive before and after of our olive tree! Having a non-fruiting olive tree was a must-have for me when we redid our landscaping. However the olive tree was so happy apparently that it turned into a monster bush within the first three years. We had Bartlett out to help us find the tree again! Beautiful job!

I have used Sean and his team twice for tree removal following landslide activity. The customer service is excellent and the price was not as high as some other companies. The crew was very prompt, was not bothered by the space constraints and steep hills on our property, and always works hard and does a thorough job. I have enjoyed working with them and will call again if we are in need of future tree work.

I needed to remove large tree which was located on my property but between my house and neighbor house. For the last year tree grow rapidly, and branches took over almost all space between houses.
Because of this tree position I was looking for knowledgeable company to remove that tree and Bartlett Tree Experts was right place to call to do this job.
From the first call and having genuinely nice conversation with Los Gatos office representative to the end of the project I feel very well taken care of:
* Appointment for estimation was scheduled with Arborist Frank Bombardier at the time and day for my convenience.
* Frank arrived in time and due to Covid-19 situation we communicated through the windows using cell phone .
Even I had 2 comparable estimates I choose Bartlett Tree because Frank send to me estimate in timely manner, was punctual, always follow up to my e-mails with questions right away and in very courteous way.
* Staff arrived at 7:30 am precisely as promised!!
* Bartlett Tree Experts using sophisticated technology equipment, which helps to do the job fast.
* But most important that staff is experienced and work in safe, accurate and well-mannered way.
I felt comfortable while all crew was working around the house: removing tree in the front and trimming other trees in backyard. Left property free of debris.
I glad I choose Bartlett Tree Experts in Los Gatos!

We have had EXTENSIVE residential work done in the last six (6) months. Sean, Jim, & Uriel are THE BEST!
Sean Davis handles every aspect of my experience so thoroughly. He always takes the extra time to determine what I desire and make sure everything is just right. I'm never left unsatisfied, but always wanting more!
Jim Mahutga is so focused on efficiency, safety, and productivity.
Uriel Lopez is so talented, dedicated, conscientious, and an excellent communicator.
I would recommend them without any hesitation.

I have used this company in 2019 and 2023. Both time they did a great job. Especially my Sean Davis who is the account representative. He went his way to help me and make sure that the job is done to my satisfaction. I will definitely use them for any tree service needs. Thank you Sean!

…”the job was done perfectly. Sean and the crew are always a pleasure to work with. I always feel I am being heard in what I am looking for in terms of pruning, and am always happy with the outcome.”

Filipe from Barlette Tree was very patient when he visited me and gave me an estimate. His crew and lead man did an A+ job on trimming my 25 year old Birch Tree. He lead man explanined in detail how they were going to tree my tree. I will have them trim trees in my backyard.

Sean and his team of Ben and Eli recently pruned our 70-year-old magnolia tree. They removed a large branch growing over the sidewalk and reduced other branches nearing power lines. They also removed other dead and crossing branches to reduce the weight of the branches and to allow more light to enter through the crown. They got rid of the pruned limbs and other debris and advised us about some roots growing above ground.

Sean, Ben, and Eli were knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful of property. They did a great job pruning our magnolia tree. We wouldn't hesitate to have them back in the future to prune other trees in our yard.

And a few months later:

High winds caused two branches to break off on our sycamore tree. We immediately called Sean Davis. Sean and his team of Eli, Freddy, and Sebastian were to prune the rest of the tree before it suffered any more damage. Our tree was in the backyard, and their bucket truck would not fit down our narrow driveway. But they were able to climb the tree to prune the higher branches.

Eli knew which branches needed to be pruned, so the result was a balanced tree and a job well done. And they cleaned up afterwards and got rid of the pruned limbs and leaves.

“Recently, Bartlett tree service performed tree pruning on our property. The pruning crew was a pleasure to collaborate with. My wife and I found it very easy to communicate our view of how we would like our trees to be shaped. The overall outcome was positive. We like the way our trees look. After a significant amount of pruning the cleanup was top-notch. We would like to give a five-star, excellent rating for this Bartlett tree service.”

Uriel's crew was great. Nice work and clean up. Very friendly.

Jose and his crew did an amazing job and deserve compensation for their attention to detail and quality work!

You guys were stellar! I can't think of even one thing to improve :-)

Sean Davis and crew are awesome! We've been using Bartlett for 12 years and Sean has always been our local guy. Super responsive and knowledgeable.

You guys came out to trim the trees and do a fertilization on the same day. We've had other tree trimming services, but they just hack without any consideration for the health of the tree or aesthetics. We really appreciate Bartlett who has long standing arborists on staff who know what they are doing. We've been using you guys for years and the one time we didn't we really regretted. We'll continue using Bartlett for tree trimming and fertilization !

Eli and Paris did an outstanding job trimming our trees. Great cleanup after trimming and always courteous. Thanks guys!

The arborist was very knowledgeable and gave us his opinion on the work we needed. The crew was good, and they cleaned up thoroughly after the work. Highly recommend!

Everyone on the team that I interacted with was amazing. They were polite, timely and most importantly did an amazing job with tree trimming and also one removal which included a stump removal.

They took great care to make sure that nothing was damaged and also left the yard cleaner than they found it :). I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.

The picture is the after of the tree removed and the arbutus that they trimmed.

Bartlett Tree provides professional service and they went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with their work, all at a very competitive price. I have had them out to my place in Santa Cruz twice now. Each time I got quotes from a few highly rated tree services in the area, and Bartlett consistently offered the best price. Sean is knowledgeable and friendly. The team was well equipped for even my huge redwood tree and big old oak trees, and got the job done fast. This last time I had to leave before they were totally done, and had hoped they would have pruned a tree more than they did. When Danielle called to get my feedback, I mentioned it but also didn't want to make a fuss, but they genuinely wanted me to be happy , welcomed the feedback, and the team ended up coming back and getting it 100% perfect. Highly recommend this company!
