Just had two bathroom remodeling projects completed by Ace Construction, a master bathroom and a full bathroom. Ace Construction is the real deal, Amos and his crew are the A-Team! Their work was excellent. The quote was competitive, the team showed up on time everyday, were highly professional and pleasant to deal with and were very attentive to detail. Not one minor detail was skipped over, everything was discussed with us during the project to ensure the final product was to our satisfaction. We had very specific design ideas for our bathroom remodel, like we wanted it to have a simple look but with a modern touch. Other contractors were completely overpricing the job (including dramatically changing the price after providing an initial quote), then we met Amos, who got our attention from the start with his communication and professionalism. Amos and Ace construction team finished the remodel within the time they said they would, and oh my god, the result is perfect, just perfect dude. Did a home remodeling project with Ace. Packaged the plans up and let 4 different contractors bid on it. Ace’s Amos was most communicative and detail oriented from the contractors. He won the project not on cost, but he wasn't too far from the lowest offer, with the difference that he was someone that clearly seemed on top of things with attention to detail. Essay ahead of all other 3. On that level the cheapest offer to me seemed like the clear bad choice. I don't think anybody in their right mind would have picked any of the other offers.
During the execution I scaled the project by 50% of the original budget with extra requests. He was always upfront with putting the cost in front of me. All was my choice. However I kept pushing for the same timeline. Though he tried to expectation manage me and i had a backup plan, they actually delivered 4days ahead of the original time budget requested.That was great because another contractor I had for a separate component was totally lagging. Amos and Ace Construction was so on top that they made up for what me and the other contractor lagged on.
Also a couple times I pushed them hard on their work and Amos was there the next morning and made it up. I anticipated having to wrestle with the contractors, but not with Ace. I was impressed and now I have a long term contractor for all my future projects. I recommend them 100%.

Our thoughts on a garage conversion finally became reality thanks to Ace Construction & Renovation. My garage had become a graveyard for half-used paint cans, so I asked Ace to turn it into an art studio. Amos suggested bigger windows for light and I was sold in seconds. The crew cleared decades of junk in one afternoon without a single complaint. I loved that they left a little chalk drawing on the wall each day instead of scribbling measurements everywhere. My dad appreciated that they swept the driveway before leaving every night. The studio feels bright and warm, even on gloomy mornings when inspiration is low. The only technical talk I remember was choosing between two kinds of flooring; I picked the pretty one. A month after move-in, I sold my first painting created in the new space. The crew handled the installation and did a very nice job. Amos was flexible and allowed us to do some of the minor finish work ourselves, which brought the costs down a bit. On retirement, my partner and I planned to move to the East coast from Los Angeles. Before doing so, we wanted to update our 25-year-old family apartment. Many renovation companies, I discovered, were very unqualified, it was easy to discover from their Google reviews as well as their previous projects. After some consideration we chose Ace Construction for their reputation and experience in dealing with projects such as ours. After discussing our budget, Amos, Ace's manager, provided us with a timeline and an itemized list detailing the cost of materials and labour. We agreed on a total renovation that included a complete remodelling of two bathrooms and a kitchen. The floor, previously carpeted, was levelled and a floating, engineered-hardwood floor installed. The ceiling was skillfully skim-coated and repainted after removal of its original rough popcorn finish.
When we arrived at our apartment for our first look after completion, we were delighted with the quality of the work. Everything was done according to our agreement and our best expectations. Custom millwork in the bathrooms and kitchen is particularly fine. Minor deficiencies that we identified were repaired without demur by Aces first rate staff and contractors.

Okay, so bear with me. This is a long one. Renovations in general, are extremely stressful for us. We have pets, and we are sensitive people. Very sensitive people. We don’t tolerate noise, dust and general disruption in our lives well. So you can imagine how difficult it was for us to make the decision to renovate two bathrooms and the electrical panel in our condo. Now, Condo renovations are even MORE stressful. We looked at several contractors and companies before reaching out to Ace Construction soon as Amos came into the picture, we knew they were the company for us. Not only did he understand our anxieties surrounding our pets, he also was super patient with our pickiness and communicated with us every step of the way. Honestly, it wasn’t perfect ( no renovation project ever is ) and mistakes are made, and sometimes there are issues, but the way mistakes are handled is what people remember in the end, and Ace is the most responsive, responsible and efficient company at fixing and addressing any issues that come up I have ever dealt with. Also to note, the various teams and people who came in to do the work, were really lovely, and to the most part tried their absolute best to make sure we are happy. We have had 2 other renovation projects done before, and this experience comparatively, was made 100% better because the PEOPLE of Ace who are incredible. I have attached some before and after pictures, to show some of the brilliant work by the teams and I have to say, the work is amazing. Having used the new shower for a couple of weeks now, I am still in disbelief that it’s is actually our place, it’s that lovely in person. Well done Amos, you are the reason why we stayed ( mostly ) sane during this project, why we would ALWAYS come back to your company for renovations and why we would recommend you to anyone who asks who did the work!

Had a great experience with Amos and his crew! Everyone on the team actually understands what customer service means. Something I thought we’d never find in Los Angeles.
