I highly recommend Johnny at Pool Heroes. Johnny maintained the pool on my property for around seven years and worked for the previous owners for years before that. My home had an unusual pool setup but it was no problem for Pool Heroes. He was always extremely diligent in maintaining all the equipment, and keeping everything looking and running great. If you are looking for someone who does his work skillfully and diligently then this is the company for you.

Outstanding service! Above and beyond what other pool service providers were willing to do! I encourage anyone to have a conversation with John to see if he can be of service…. He will figure out a way to make it work! Service with integrity and follow through!

John has been a great asset to our home. In very few visits he’s adjusted our settings and levels, cleaned our filters, and even took an early morning weekend call to help troubleshoot a pump issue mere hours before a pool party!

I am thrilled with Pool Heros!

We’re first time pool owners and were “gifted” a pool service guy by our pool builder for the first year of having our pool. We’ve had basic service but struggled with tons of white flakes in our pool every summer. Our pool guy never really knew how to handle it and despite being in the business for at least 2 decades, he’d never seen it…I thought I should trust him because of the referral but just didn’t.

Cut to a review for John at Pool Heroes I saw in a FB mom’s group…great review and I thought, maybe it’s time to finally get a second opinion for help. John was quick to respond, clearly knew his business and described in detail why we were having issues. Within a couple days, he started service and gave us the true professional service we’ve been hoping for all this time! He communicated beautifully about his arrival and post-visit (following up with me, too, even though he worked with my husband that day). He has a very transparent process with an email explaining the status of our chemical levels and added photos to support what he saw and did…even adding a service without charge. Who does that?!

I don’t give reviews often but when I do I really mean them. John is the real deal…building a great business with exceptional service and communication. He’s knowledgeable and friendly and I feel more at ease than I have since we got our pool installed. There are lots of “pool guys” but if you’re looking for a true professional, give John a call and see for yourself what I’m talking about. Couldn’t recommend more highly!
(And, even though his rates are a bit higher than the other guy, he’s transparent, his pricing and process is fair, clearly stated in his written contract and I am certain that over time, I will be saving thousands because he will be better maintaining my equipment. Now that I’m no longer under warranty, it’s even more important to have someone who knows what they’re doing and be proactive instead of reactive.)

I want to give a BIG SHOUT out to John Johnson and to Pool Heroes for the great job they did on my pool. I have a pebble teck pool at least 20-25 years old and was starting to get a lot of rock in my sweeper. John explained what need to have done and they came over Thursday and did the demo job, Saturday they came and resprayed the entire pool and Sunday they came over and did the acid wash and now is being refilled. It's looks better now than when I first had it done. Thank you so much . All those involved were polite and friendly and new there stuff. Wish I could more than 5 stars. I am so glad to find John Johnson as he knows what needed to be done.

I called many pool cleaners in the area for our challenging pool/spa, and most didn’t have the time or capacity to help. John stepped up and made the time, and he’s been a pleasure to work with. He has great communication, is easy to talk to, provides excellent customer service, and does all the work himself. Our pool and spa are spotless, and we’re very happy with his work! Very genuine guy, highly recommend!

He’s great at communication, so we always know when he’s coming. And also? He’s a great guy. It matters to me who does work for me at my home, and John comes to do the job with enthusiasm and friendliness that is greatly appreciated. So other pool services? Maybe skip our house when you’re dropping off cards, because we don’t need ‘em.

We are big fans of John’s care and knowledge and professionalism. He is 1,000% on the job, a clear communicator and friendly. And when something comes up, he is available and responsive. All high marks here.

John has been servicing our in ground pool for nearly a year and has been great! He is easily accessible via phone and emails, does not require much from my side, and has also worked with me with a few special requests.

He was willing to work with me to setup a service that worked for our family, and now I don’t have to worry about keeping up with the pool cleaning or chemicals!

Mike and team did an excellent job on the equipment install portion of our pool build a few years back and helpfully answer follow-on questions.

I'd been thinking of having a pool in my backyard. I live in Lincoln, CA. I called this company to inquire the minimum cost their company will build a pool for me for I have no clue how much? The guy who answered said around $50,000 but before I could ask for what kind of pool ( e.g. dimension, type, etc) that cost will give me, he rudely just referred me to Granite Pool ( I have no clue why) because he is very busy and could not help me!!!

I used them for cleaning and maintenance for years. The pool guy who serviced the pool was fine. The office and communication was abysmal.

Response: You have to actually send invoices in order to get them paid.

My husband and I subcontracted the building of the pool ourselves, and it was AWESOME dealing with M & M. The work was outstanding quality. They offered some suggestions (e.g., waterfall placement, lighting) that ended up making the final product even better than expected. Mike, Derrick, and Kevin were all personable as well as knowledgeable. I highly recommend M & M!!

Would highly recommend M & M Pool Construction! The owner, as well as all of the technicians and service managers that we have dealt with go above and beyond for their clients. Their knowledge about pool equipment and plumbing is unmatched in the industry. They are extremely professional and reliable. It has been so wonderful to know that they are there for us if there are any issues with the pool equipment that they installed (recalls, etc.)

I highly recommend this business! My wife and I recently bought a house with a broken pool pump. I reached out to receive a quote to replace the pump, upgrade the filter, and convert the pool to a salt cell. Kevin their Service Manager came out to inspect the existing system. He was professional and able to answer all of our questions. We were then provided a detailed quote. The owner Mike was available to discuss any questions we had and answered promptly. Derek and the install team came out the next week. They removed the old system and installed the new one, including new plumbing, in three hours. During installation, an additional problem was discovered. The team was clear in explaining the problem and offered to install the part at cost. After install, Derek gave us a very informative walk through of the system and accompanying app and answered all our questions about the system and future maintenance. Kevin even returned two days later for a follow up visit to ensure we were satisfied with the service and check the chemical/salt levels were within the appropriate range.
