So I'm pretty sparse in writing these reviews, but these guys are the only people you ever want to let touch your trees, that is if you love and want to keep them looking good! Found out the hard way using other companies, having a true skilled arborist and years of experience really pays off.

Tree service from Trees N Things was completed last week. I found the recommendation on Next Door and I was first impressed with Nick the arborist who came out last month to give me a quote.

The 50ft tall Western sycamore was long overdue for a trimming as well as a smaller Chinese Elm in the backyard. Also in the backyard was a Mesquite that had grown into the power lines and a Tree of Heaven growing in the fence and the power lines, and a dead Loquat, all removed.

They arrived at 9:30am, (having given a window of 9-Noon) With all the equipment and a crew of 12. They were done with the work and finished by sweeping up the debris by 11:30am. They were friendly, helpful, and efficient. They did not argue, when I didn’t want the blower used in the backyard clean up, but picked up the broom and swept it all up. When I wanted a couple of blocks from one of the trunks to use in the yard, they cut them cleanly and asked for my approval. They were careful of the other trees and plants in the yard, creating protective barriers when appropriate. They were courteous to my neighbors, and made sure that their yards were clean as well. When trimming the trees along the back fence they didn’t drop a single limb into the neighbor’s yard. Adept and acrobatic they really did an amazing job.

I chose Trees N Things after the quote, because they showed me a before and after photo of a previous client’s Western Sycamore and it was lovely work. I was not about to let anyone just wack and hack on the Queen of our yard, as I had seen other services do in the neighborhood. In talking to the crew this morning, their goal is to leave the tree aesthetically pleasing and if you didn’t know what it looked like before, you might not notice it had been trimmed, it’s just much healthier. It is exactly what I wanted and what they delivered today. I even noticed that the hummingbird nest is still hanging in the tree.

I interviewed five certified arborists this Spring of 2024 to get their feedback and recommendations for five fruit trees (an avocado and four citruses). We discussed the tree’s current state of health, future care practices, how, when, and why trimming was appropriate and how they would trim each tree.

Nick was the fifth arborist interviewed. I was impressed with the way he listened and responded to questions, his knowledge, his easy-going nature, and his approach to providing a thorough and practical approach. He did not propose unnecessary services, like cabling for the avocado tree. He offered services that meet the needs of each tree, charged accordingly, and provided a most competitive quote.

Nick followed through with all his agreements and went beyond. He arrived with the crew the day of the trimming, he remembered the plan for each tree and reiterated the trimming strategy that we discussed a couple weeks earlier. He shared the strategy with the foreman and main trimmer. He personally supervised trimming of the most challenging tree, performed light pruning of the avocado and orange trees, and then when most of the trimming was complete handed off job completion to the helpful foreman, Miguel. The crew was respectful and left the yard cleaner than when they arrived. And the trees look beautiful!

The day after trimming I had some questions. Diane relayed my message to Nick, who was back onsite within 48 hours. He answered my questions and make a small correction, cutting another 10 inches off a branch.

Nick and crew provide expert tree consultation and care. Their service focuses on what's best for the health of the tree as well as safety. Responsive on scheduling, and worksite left completely clean even after big jobs like tree removal.

Fantastically efficient crew removed a 50 year old dead tree and ground stump in only 1 hour and for a reasonable price. The guy who wielded the chainsaw was a master! Only complaint is that they originally estimated they would get to the job in about 2 weeks, but didn't do so until almost 6 weeks later and didn't communicate/explain. We were about ready to find another tree company, but then they suddenly scheduled the date and did the job. A little bit more communication along the way would have spared us some worry.

No worries about your trees looking 'chopped' or 'topped'. Trees 'N Things has an Arborist on staff who knows how to properly trim, whether it be a light trim, severe trim or clean up after limbs split due to weather conditions or other conditions out of your control. I have used them annually for the past 20 years.

Trees 'N Things did an excellent job from coordinating the quote to completion of the project. Their crew came on-time and were very friendly on arrival. They also did a great job on the clean up too. I highly recommend them.

It is wonderful to use an arborist that is truly skilled. If you have any issues, Nick can answer your questions. I have used them for many years to trim our trees and large bushes. The crew is always on time, friendly, do a great job & the worksite is left completely clean.

Nick and Enzo and their whole team are true professionals and artists when it comes to tree care. They have an eye for detail and are attentive, direct, and honest. They were great. When Nick came out to give an estimate, he was very knowledgeable about the types of trees I had and what my needs were. Even went so far as to give me tips on how to help a very thirsty tree in my front yard.

We called Trees n Things because they have done a beautiful job pruning our tree in the past. They evaluated our drought-stressed tree and advised against the service we had requested because while it might have looked better, it was not going to actually help the tree. He told us of various treatments available, then recommended against all of them and instead taught us a different watering methodology. How rare to find someone who offers good advice without regard for their own profit. If you want a beautiful, artistic pruning job, call these guys. But more importantly if you are concerned about your tree’s health, call these guys!

Amazing company and crew. They are fast, efficient, always in good spirits, fair priced, and always clean up the entire mess. I highly recommend this company and will always use them for whatever tree care needs my company and myself may need. They are the best!

Trees 'N Things arrived on time and expertly trimmed our many palm trees. Workers were clean, pleasant and polite. Best of all, they left our pool and yard areas as clean as they found them. We will definitely plan to use them again.

Great service! Nick was phenomenal with explaining proper trimming methods, presented his suggestions for each type of tree, we have many upon many, and was very responsive. Their crew was on time, professional, and friendly. They completed work on our 93 unit complex and also finished a day earlier than they planned. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
