We are not pleased with the installed heat pump unit. The unit they installed did not match the one quoted. If we had known that the unit they would install with was lower efficiency and needed heat strips, we would not have chosen a heat pump or we would have gone with other contractors. The estimate I accepted was for a heat pump with an 18 SEER efficiency but then ended up installing one with 14.3 SEER, and needed heat strips. They also did not do the electrical work that the estimate said. However, they insisted to charge us the exact same price as the original quote.

Highly recommend! On a Saturday night when it was 100 degrees I called many places and told them I had an infant and my AC was broken. Ola was the first to care, he changed his personal plans, came and stayed till midnight. When he realized there were more parts needed, he went to several stores across different towns to get them to return the next day. Very professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy, provides education on what he’s doing and why. Now we’ll be a customer for life.

Ola took care of our requirement from his first visit. He listened, made notes, and created a simple and clear electrical plan for our air-conditioning system, right in front of us. And he explained the layout in great detail -- it made us feel comfortable about how the entire system would be installed.

Further, he explained the scheduling and process as well.

We are still surprised and relieved about how carefree everything felt.

We'll recommend the company to anyone and everyone who has similar needs in the bay area.

Ola at Ariel HVAC Solutions was incredibly communicative, professional, and flexible with our ductless mini split install. Their quote was very competitive, and I especially appreciated their technicians' heads-up texts before arriving, rather than the huge time window most contractors give you. The work was very clean, very safe, and the attention to detail second to none. This was the last bit of work we needed to do on our year-long condo renovation, so we have had plenty of recent experience with electricians, drywall repairers, painters, and plumbers, and I'm happy to say that Ariel was as clean, quick, and pleasant to work with as anyone I've done business with! Highly recommend.

I've been meaning to put this review up, as I had absolutely incredible service from Ola last week replacing an old swamp cooler in the home I rent.

Unfortunately, Ola received the incorrect information regarding the unit to no fault of his own. And because of that, it made his job much harder.

He ended up driving all the way from Walnut Creek to Santa Rosa to pick up the correct unit for me and still installed it the same day.

He was extremely friendly, kind, and clearly went way above and beyond to get the job done for me on a very hot day! Gotta recognize and appreciate those things, especially in today's age!

Nathan explained everything clearly and provided a couple possible ways to proceed. We went ahead and chose the maintenance he recommended and have been staying cool ever since.

I am a General Contractor who has used Clayton Brothers for over 5 years now. I use them for both residential and commercial work. Its always a pleasure working with them. There technicians are clean and polite and always accommodate our after hours needs.

These guys are so trustworthy and fair, don't hesitate to call them. I had a problem with my furnace in the dead of winter and they were busy and couldn't make it out same day - so they actually gave me the number of another honest company who could make it out because they didn't want us to suffer with no heat. Truly awesome experience that you don't come across much these days. It was great of Spencer to do.

Nate arrived on time, gave us a run down on how our system works, pointers on how to upkeep and maintain it, and was overall terrific to learn from. highly recommend!

Nathan responded very quickly to my call about our furnace not working and was able to get me in on a Saturday! Which we so appreciated on a cold weekend with little kids. It ended up being a simple fix that he was easily able to troubleshoot. He walked me through what could have happened and was able to tell me the status of our furnace and what to expect in the future since it's a very old model. Thank you so much for your time and generosity, we will definitely be using him for any future issues with our HVAC.

I couldn't be happier. Nate was extremely nice and was able to fit us into his schedule during a heat spell when our AC went out. He diagnosed the issue and came back for the repairs quickly. His team checked our entire system for leaks, recharged the system with the most economical refrigerant and didn't invoice me until we were able to confirm that everything was working several days later. I'd give 6 stars if they allowed it ;).

We contracted with Clayton Bros after receiving 5 bids for our furnace and AC replacement. Their bid price was middle of the road, but made the most sense in terms of delivering the value we were looking for in our new equipment. Installation was 2 days and everything exceeded our expectations from promptness, to clean up, to system operation. They even measured the air flow before and after to ensure we could see the difference in the new equipment. Lastly, we called a week later based on a concern that the air wasn't functioning properly. They were here the next day and helped diagnose an issue with our Nest thermostat that has since been resolved. Highly recommend these guys based on value received and customer service orientation!

Recently our A/C stopped blowing cold air. Of course it happened when the we had our heat wave last week of 106 degrees outside. We have 2 toddlers at home and it was 90 degrees during the night. Not a very pleasant experience. I opened a claim with our home warranty company and the soonest they could have a tech come out was 6 days. I spent hours trying to find someone and finally a friend referred Nathan from Clayton Brothers Heating & Air. He was out the same day, repaired our A/C, and it was working good as new before that same night. I highly recommend Nathan if you need a quick, efficient, and reliable, and professional A/C tech!

My A/C stopped working on a warm Saturday evening. I noticed that Clayton Brothers provided 24 hour service. I really didn’t expect anyone to return my call until Monday. However, much to my surprise Nathen promptly returned my call shortly after leaving a message. He made an appointment for the the next morning and arrived exactly when he promised. The circuit breaker tripped and wouldn’t reset. I feared the worst and assumed that the compressor/condenser would have to be replaced as it was 20 years old.
I have hired many HVAC contractors to work on several homes I have owned. In my past experience with old equipment, most companies don’t troubleshoot the systems and just sell you a new unit for thousands of dollars.
Nathen did a thorough inspection and service of the unit. He diagnosed an internal wiring issue and was able to get the old unit running again. I will not hesitate to use Clayton Brothers Heating & Air in the future and will highly recommend them to friends and family.
