About the business:
Our general contractor was raised building houses with his father in Sonora, CA. He's been swinging a hammer since he was a toddler and has spent a lifetime refining his skills. After many years of working for others, we decided to go into business for ourselves. We are a husband and wife team who are committed to delivering quality in everything we do.

Mike and the Pro Patio team are awesome. We are very pleased with our new patio cover. Mike is honest, showed great integrity. Very detail oriented.
If it wasn't for Mike and his team, we never would have known our rain gutters were installed improperly. Mike even stayed to talk to the rain gutter supervisor to explain the problem so it could be resolved. -

I consulted with this company for a balcony rail repair and pool wall renovation. Mike came over and his demeanor was not friendly to say the least. As a matter of fact, he seemed slightly annoyed and bothered when I opened the door. Anyway, we walked up the stairs so I could show him the project area. He looked around my home and mumbled , "so much hardwood floors " not in a complimentary way. He proceeded to take measurements of the balcony rail and the pool wall and was supposed to send me a quote. He requested my email address, which I sent him, then I waited and waited for his response. When I didn't get any response, I called. He verbally told me a quote that would include both projects and I asked if it was possible to separate each. He said definitely he can. Next message I received was " With all the tariffs material prices changing, I'm gonna have to pull out from bidding your job." like what! That was the lamest excuse he could come up with but I think it was something else. . I'm just surprised in this enlightened age this foolishness is still happening. Would not recommend this company to any of my friends or family.
PS. I edited to add that I had also requested rain gutter installation quote through this same company. They sent a guy out and he told me he could not do my rain gutters because of the slope of the house. He does not install gutters on houses like mine but I can go down town to this area around M street??? And ask for some guy. Maybe that guy can help me. . I cannot make this crap up!!! Wish I could give them zero stars.
Thanks to Wesley from Blue Mountain Rain gutters, who was competent enough and fair to complete the project without any problems whatsoever.Official response from representative 17.07.2025 20:40I’m sorry you saw it that way. I did also say that I did the same thing in my house with the hard wood floors and that I liked it. I didn’t know if you heard me. As for the Tariffs I received a 15% increase right before we talked. My distributors were telling us it would increase again but didn’t know when. If I was to bid a job and get an increase I can’t go back to the home owner and tell them that I needed more money. So we had to walk away from a few bids. -

Mike was real easy to work with, also loved that the crew didn't rush the job and took time in building the porch!
