I compared 3 quotes from paver companies to replace the cemented driveway with short/long pathways to the front/side yard and a walkway towards the front door. Oscar Landscaping is a saving grace! The owner is prompt to respond, honest and professional. He gave us a wider stone design options than the other 2 companies who limited us with just a couple choices. He worked much better with our budget that covered a bit more design footage and was not afraid taking on the big roots and shrubs that were on/along the way while the others tried to avoid the tree/charge you extra. Oscar simply explained his design, accommodates what we like and patiently walk us through any part of the contract that needed clarification. No surprise issues encountered after signing the contract.

His crew were always on time, hardworking, leaves the areas clean/safe each day. The project was completed in less than 3 weeks. The only critic is the warranty for the labor is less than we wanted. Other than that, we get a lot of compliments from neighbors for their job well done!

We hired Oscar Landscaping for a major landscape installation at our residence in Concord. At every stage in the process, Oscar and his crew were professional, responsive and timely: The request for a first meeting, the estimate, final contract negotiation, and the actual project installation. We gave them very specific layout and irrigation plans and they built everything on the plans with a great attention to detail. The crew is very friendly, skilled and experienced. I appreciated that they took the time to update me, and contact me immediately throughout the project, whenever there was a situation or a question for me to review. They installed all of the following for us with great results: retaining wall, backyard paver patio, grading, roof drain burial, drainage trenches in front and back as permeable dry creek beds, ramped paver walkway to front entrance, gravel and steel edge for permeable surfaces in backyard, and an artificial turf area. Our neighbors and family members are always complementing us on the beautiful landscape we now have. I work in the landscape industry for a Bay Area design-build firm, so I had very high standards for the landscape contractor I wanted to hire. Oscar and his crew exceeded all my expectations - I am so glad we hired them for our project and I highly recommend this company.
