could not find and fix the most basic plumbing issue, a leak from back of the fridge . It looked like they just wanted to get out of the home warranty deal…

I have used Green Globe for 10+ years on many different plumbing jobs, always 5 Star!

My water heater went out and this company was recommended by my home warranty company. The technician came out to assess the water heater for the estimate. He was there for less than 5 minutes and told me everything was perfect and would need zero modifications and the warranty company should cover the water heater so my only out of pocket would be the disposal. I thought "Great!"
However, I was then told by my warranty company that my out of pocket would be over $650 for modifications?! What? I called them and asked for a detailed estimate for these charges and was told they had already provided it to the warranty company and to just reach out to them.
The warranty company notified me the next day that they had approved the estimate and ordered the tank already before reaching out to me. I still was waiting for the itemized estimate for the erroneous modification charges that his tech told me were not needed. $650 is alot to a single mom with 3 kids, I'd like to know exactly why I'm getting charged before just blindly paying someone.
A week goes by and I have no communication from Green Globe, the warranty company has at this point told me all communication should be through them. I finally get ahold of them after a week and a half and his response was "Oh, we figured you had just had a friend help you with it" and basically was writing me off. I explained that no, I have been waiting on the estimate and have called with no response. He then had the itemized estimate sent over and wow....$600 of the $650 was all modifications I was told I didn't need. $50 for disposal. I asked him why and he said, well I have to make money somewhere. I felt very taken advantage of and told him what his tech had told me and he denied every word. I told him he should at least attempt to work with me and he got very defensive before finally telling me he was refusing to install the water heater (that mind you they already had and was ready to go), and laughed saying good luck finding another company.
This company is absolutely horrific and only cares about the money. They lie and tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to pay their surprise fees. They are extremely rude and abraisive if you dare question why they are charging for something.
Terrible customer service, and uncaring staff/owners.

Tom from Green Globe plumbing is very responsive and professional. We had 2 separate plumbing issues to repair a shower thermostatic cartridge and replace a circulator timer. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I’m so glad that I met him through First American Home Warranty because now I have a reputable plumber contact for life, for my home and business. Our water tank went out on Friday morning, we called Tom Friday afternoon and he came out Friday evening. After diagnosis he told me it needed to be replaced. Tom and his crew were out SATURDAY MORNING with the exact same water tank that I currently had. I've used them for other work and they are very reliable and affordable. Great family owned company with family values (something you don't find anymore). They are not only plumbers but are licensed general contractors as well.

Joseph was very responsive, friendly and professional! He answered all my questions. He was clear and concise, where he laid out different options to fix my toilet problem. I will definitely use his services again and he comes highly recommended.

It has taken me 6 months to write this review because I wanted it to be as honest as possible: As an owner of a home built in the 70’s, I’ve spent years and wasted money on less-than-capable plumbers. Typically leaving me feeling like I was ripped off and having the original problem come back or another issue pop up shortly after… one such situation is when my bathtub kept backing up with water and not going down the drain. I tried to fix it myself by removing the water from the tub, pouring DrainO down the drain, and using a hair clog tool, as I have very long hair. But it just kept re filling every time I would shower. I breifly checked Craigslist and got a hold of a plumber who was charging me $500 just to come out and look at it. They came out and did pretty much exactly what I did but with better equipment, and $1500 later the back up stopped for 1 day and came right back. My neighbor recommend me to Newport- Mesa drains who they said they found on Craigslist. I thought to myself; great, not another Craigslist plumber… but feeling desperate and defeated I decided to call. Joseph responded quickly to my voicemail and was professional and friendly over the phone. I told him my story and how I was weary, but he assured me that he would solve the problem and not leave me in the same position again. Of course I was skeptical because of the awful experiences I’ve had, but Josephs confidence and delivery over the phone had me feeling hopeful and like he actually cared. Turns out I made the right call as he did exactly what he said he would do. He figured out rather quickly that the back up from my tub wasn’t even sourced from my tub, but from my bathroom sink! He worked his magic and the back up stopped. He also suggested I get a drain cover/strainer as a cheap and easy way to prevent future issues. I took his advice and It’s now been 6 months and I still have had no problems! I will continue to call Joseph for my plumbing needs and recommend him to anyone who is looking for an honest, fair priced, skilled professional, who actually cares. He is very practical in his approach and took the time to troubleshoot every possible cause of our shower leak before suggesting opening the dry wall. He is honest. Reliable. Professional. Joseph was personable, knowledgeable, skilled, and prompt as he cleared out an emergency block on our main drain line. We were happy to have his expertise and even happier to have working plumbing again.

Finding a good plumber can be a nightmare. After using a plumber recommended by my leasing agent, who began by hydrojetting the main line and then quoting me an additional price of $1,800 to descale the line, I decided to get a second opinion. I started to make phone calls but couldn’t get a straight answer, so I went to Home Depot and had them contact their preferred plumbers. Within minutes, I receive a text and then a voicemail message from Joseph at Newport-Mesa Drains. I called Joseph back, and for the next ten minutes he gave me a primer on the entire process, with suggestions on how to proceed, and he quoted me a reasonable price to solve my plumbing problem. He was available immediately, met me at the house shortly thereafter, and began to snake my entire main line to the street. I told Joseph and my tenant that I needed to leave, and about an hour later Joseph called me to tell me he had cleaned the entire line and had explained the issues involved to my tenant. He had his assistant email me a bill, which I immediately paid with Venmo. I now have a plumber I can count on and would recommend him to others without hesitation.

Had a great experience using Newport Mesa Drains. I placed a service request through our home warranty company for serval plumbing repairs. Joseph was punctual, trust worthy and did a very thorough job. He didn’t cut corners just to get the job done. We will definitely be using Newport Mesa Drains for future plumbing needs.
