Justin was on time and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He even had the part on his truck that he needed for the repair.

A little confused about the service I recieved between Sears and LG. I do not understand why LG did not have me update the refridge with the ThinkQ app on the very first call. It's all very confusing and I'm hoping it does work. Waiting a couple of days to see if it does make ice.

Be aware of Sears' unethical technicians. The technician who came to my condo to fix my Whirlpool stacked washer/dryer dryer arrived by himself. He said he had to reschedule because the needed another worker to help him move the stack washer dryer. Of course, that would increase the amount he would charge. The cost to repair it was quoted to be around $ 449. To deal with this high price, he said that if I bought a warranty for my kitchen equipment (refer, microwave, garbage disposal, stove) the price would be lower, but I would have to make monthly payments for the warranty. What really got me, was the diagnostic charge for coming to my place. He did not do due diligence or even a Google search to see what type of dryer I had. He told me that the issue with most gas dryers like mine is the thermostat. He said could not hear the click when the gas went on. MY DRYER IS ELECTRIC. No wonder Sears went into bankruptcy. With technicians who do not know how to make a diagnostic or even use Google to find out the type of equipment they are checking, this added to the other issues the company had (I know other things caused the bankruptcy). He charged $89 for coming to make a diagnostic. He gave me a quote of $449 to get it fixed. I made a $110 down payment that included the diagnostic. I did not buy the warranty, so he went down on the cost. Also, he ordered the part that was going to be delivered to my place in five days. Yes, I felt for it. After almost weeks, when the part did not come, I decided to cancel the service. They are not refunding the $89 diagnostic. I called a local appliance repair place. ONLY one guy came with a dolly and took the stack washer/dryer. I can't believe that Sears allowed his technician to schedule extra people for something that can be done with a dolly. This reminded me the bad CEO that brought Sears into bankruptcy -- getting paid for not knowing how to do his job. Be aware of Sears technicians reap off. Give your business to smaller repair shops and not corporations that hire unethical technicians. I think the technician name is Herman. I called Sears 1-800 number to complain, but a person in another country said she cannot do give me back the diagnostic. Just be aware of unethical technicians at Sears.
