Shout out to Sunlight! They were referred by our friends. Alessandro gave us a pleasant first impression on the phone and in person. Nick then came by and assessed our home and was very knowledgeable and took his time to go over the details regarding the installation plan. From the initial consultation to the final inspection, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. Juan and the team were knowledgeable, punctual, and readily available to answer our questions or tend to our concerns.

The installation itself was completed ahead of schedule, in one day, and with minimal disruption. They walked us through how the system works and made sure we were comfortable with everything before wrapping up. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and that’s what I respect and ask of a company with this significant of a long term investment. Looking forward to the results and savings from PG&E!

We went with Sunlight Electri-Cal for our solar system installation, and we could not be any happier that we went with them. They are a team of true electricians that know how to do solar right. Juan and his team were exceptional from the time Juan came over to explain what they could offer us, to the proposal which had very competitive pricing, to the quick installation of the equipment in just a couple of days by his team and finally to the stress-free interaction necessary with PG&E and the activation of the whole system. I highly recommend, at the very least, talking with this company before you make any final decisions when you decide to go solar. You won't regret it.

An absolute joy to work with Juan and team @Sunlight Electri-Cal Solutions. Crew very professional. Custom design for our house. Installation took less than 2 days. One day for 17 panels, 2 story unfriendly roof line, second day battery, aGate, sub-panel etc. generating power late afternoon, third day passed inspection. Took about a week and a half to get SNEM Paired Storage System PG&E approval (we can now upload extra power back to the grid and get (small...) credit). Still waiting for permanent storage battery rebate to clear but cautiously optimistic. We absolutely recommend this company. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

We have a townhouse with limited space, unusual 208V electrical service, no gas service (electric heat), two homeowner associations, and a prior NEM2 solar setup that was not enough. We wanted to max out use of our roof area with non-exporting panels and add a battery to get us through evenings and bad weather. Many other installers would not give us a bid. A neighbor installed a Tesla Powerwall with a different contractor and it would not turn on due to the 208V supply. Sunlight Electri-Cal Solutions took on the job and followed through on the HOA approvals (requiring special insurance arrangements), city permit, installation of a 208V-compatible FranklinWH system, city inspection, and PG&E approval. They squeezed 2 more panels than I thought could fit onto our south-facing roof area. Now we need to break our habit of being stingy about running our heater and air conditioner because we have plenty of energy available and can still achieve net zero. Don’t let those other contractors tell you it can’t be done.
