I recently hired Roto-Rooter to reconnect the entry pipe after I cut the leaking PVC pipe. The total cost was $2400+, which is far above the market price for such a job. The repair work damaged the nearby irrigation valve. The irrigation pipe had only a minor, very tiny leak before, but after the fix, the irrigation valve began leaking significantly. I asked the technician to correct the issue—which was caused by his work or test—without additional charge. He refused. When I escalated my complaint, the manager was dismissive and disrespectful, offering many questions instead of solutions. This response is unacceptable. A company charging such super-premium prices should provide premium, worry-free service, not damage existing systems and then refuse accountability. I am disappointed with the lack of professionalism in handling my complaint. I have shared the feedback on roto rooter, but I haven't received any response 2 weeks.
