We had three rooms cleaned with the $99 special from Shelton Brothers Carpet Cleaning. i was really happy with how new and fresh the carpets looked after the service. One room needed to be cleaned again (it was our mistake, not theirs), and they only charged a small fee. When it still didn’t look quite right, we reached out and they came back to clean it again for free. i appreciate how the rooms are still looking clean and smelling fresh even after a couple of weeks. Brett was very friendly and easy to work with, and the customer service was fantastic. i definitely recommend this company to anyone in El Cajon who needs their carpets cleaned.

I reached out to a few places to get the carpets cleaned in our new warehouse in El Cajon. After meeting with a couple of companies, we decided to hire Shelton Brothers Carpet Cleaning right away and canceled the other appointments. The carpets had heavy stains, and we were worried they might have to be replaced, but after the cleaning, they looked like new and the whole office smelled fresh. Ian even took care of the non-carpeted areas, like the kitchen and bathrooms. He was friendly, professional, and the price was better than expected. I’ll definitely use their carpet cleaning services again!

He made me feel comfortable and never made me feel bad about the mess. We even talked about my dog, and he understood how tough it was. Brett did an amazing job cleaning all the carpets, upholstery, and area rugs in my house. He worked hard to remove every stain and all the pet odors, and he made sure to put all my furniture back where it belonged. My home smells fresh and looks so much better now. I’m really happy with the results and would recommend this carpet cleaning company to anyone in El Cajon. If I ever have another problem with stains or smells, I’ll definitely call them again. i run a local moving company and recently had a situation where our crew left some handprints on furniture. we also had some unexpected rain, which caused one of our box trucks to leak and a few chairs got wet and stained. our customer wasn't happy, but gave us the chance to make it right by getting everything cleaned. i reached out to a well-known carpet cleaning company but, surprisingly, they left without even giving us an estimate or doing any cleaning. that's when i remembered hearing someone mention Brett from this carpet cleaning service who had helped with their upholstery before. i gave Brett a call, sent over some pictures of the damage, and even though the job was outside his usual area and on short notice, he made it happen. Brett coordinated directly with our customer, scheduled a time, and took care of everything. he cleaned the carpets, beds, chairs, and headboard, making sure everything looked and smelled fresh again. not only was the quality of the work impressive, but the price was much better than i expected. even with a tip, it felt like a great deal. what really stood out was Brett's attitude—he clearly puts customers first and knows all about the right cleaning products and techniques. i'm very happy with the results and will definitely be recommending this service to others. next time i need carpet or upholstery cleaning, i know who to call. great job, Brett.

My two dogs had an accident on our main carpet, and I just couldn’t get the smell out no matter how much I tried to clean it myself. I called for a professional carpet cleaning service and was amazed at how quickly they responded. Brett arrived at my home within 15 minutes and was extremely professional and friendly. He completely removed the odor and left my carpet looking and smelling fresh. I really appreciated how understanding and helpful he was throughout the whole process. I’ll definitely be recommending their carpet cleaning services to all my friends and neighbors because service like this is hard to find!

Feb 2020 - My house is known as the "Just do your best" house, lol. However, last 2 teams have missed picking up and vacuuming my between the furniture and the walls. Bathrooms, dusting, floors - well done.

I'm one that always wants to "pick up for the maids" and get frustrated when I can't. Every team has been compassionate in telling me, in essence, "Just relax. We'll get it clean for you!". I love this!!

They arrived on time and began setting up and working right away, my daughter and husband said they were very friendly and they did work hard at cleaning, I'll give them that, they spent almost 4 hours cleaning an approx. 1000 sq ft space, kitchen, dining room and living room, which was essentially just one area, the hallway and 2 small bathrooms, just looking at the rooms, they looked clean, but on closer inspection you can see spots they didn't bother getting, gunk in corners and in the cracks where the baseboard met the floor, and the wall in the back of the stove is still covered in grease, it didn't look like they had even attempted to clean.
To be fair, our house was pretty bad, I'm disabled and my family works odd hours, it's hard to coordinate a cleaning schedule, but even after we made an effort to clean the worst of it before they came, I always thought it was funny when I heard other people say they had to clean the house before the maid came, but it's true, especially the first time, I just think they could have done better, essentially 2 people taking over 4 hours to clean a 1000 sq ft area. One other thing that kinda bothered me about their service, I had originally told them not to go into any of the bedrooms, with the exception of mine because they had to go in there to get to the second bathroom, so while they were there I asked if they would clean my bedroom floor, as long as they had to go in there anyway, the manager, or someone, called me and said they would need to charge extra for that service, now, they were charging me $295 for deep cleaning my house, and the majority of my rooms weren't being cleaned, plus my house being fairly small, I thought it should be covered, apparently not, I made a bit of an argument and she said she would go ahead and allow it, well good, or so I thought, when they left, they told my daughter that they didn't wash the floor, but they did vacuum, which as it turned out, they hadn't even done that as there was a piece of broken plastic by my trash can and a couple pieces of debris by the doorway, so yeah, for my first experience hiring a maid, ever, it wasn't the best.

They were on-time and did an amazing job. This was our second cleaning with Merry Maids (first after the initial deep clean). Our house is clean! When we noticed a couple of minor things they missed, they came back and made it right. Excellent service!

They did not deep clean anything. Pretty much surface cleaning only. $475 for 2hrs 20 min. Absolute nonsense. Martha did great on dusting tho. I could say more , but rather would like to speak to the manager. Won't be able to do that till tomorrow since I'm working late. I believe a discount is in store. You'll be hearing from me

Merry Maids arrived and immediately began cleaning for a move out job.
Worked quickly and were finished in a little over an hour. Place was cleaned efficiently.

I live out of state and over a year ago for Christmas I hired Merry Maids to clean my mothers home once a month. They are wonderful always friendly and going above and beyond for my mother. My mother feels safe with the ladies that come and clean for her. And that is more important to me. They have been a life saver I could not be more pleased with them. We've been using Merry Maids for several years. They always notify us, the day before, the time slot our team is arriving. The day of service, they always notify us when our team is on the way.
Their teams are professional and consistently do a great job of cleaning, frequently going above and beyond their normal cleaning routine.
We do not know if Merry Maids is cheap or expensive because we have been so pleased with their service that we have not shopped around since we started with them.
For us, their good reliable service is worth what they cost. Good job to our MM team!
