Our home was a disaster after days of Halloween activities and school spirit days. Katie and Jeanelle do such thorough and detailed cleaning - it was such a welcome help during such a busy time!

The quote response time was quick that was the only positive.

Cons: The appointment start time was from 9am-10am. At 8:30am, they texted to say they would be an hour late. They showed up at 11:45am. I got the one word "apology" when I was texting at 11am to get an update on arrival time.

The whole house was spotless because we were listing it to sell. It was also mostly empty for the same reason. I had already cleaned all the kitchen stainless steel appliances, dusted everything and vacuumed the carpeted areas. Therefore, the only things that needed to be done was clean one full bath, mop and vacuum floors, clean kitchen sink and dust window sills. When the house cleaners arrived, they estimated 2 hours, which seemed reasonable (4 hours (2 cleaners @ 2 hours total)). They stayed for over three hours and every time I saw one of them, either standing around on her phone or cleaning things that I already said not to clean because they had been cleaned. For example, they vacuumed the carpets and made the beds which I specifically said not to do. I ended up just telling them to leave after 3.5 hours because they were not doing anything. The shower walls still had a layer of grime, that clearly hadn't been cleaned. When I mentioned it, she was like oh, I did that.

I wouldn't recommend them and it's clear the reviewers had same experience. I didn't look on Yelp and looked at Google only which they must have paid reviewers on.

We lost our house cleaner about 5 years ago and I just didn't want to reuse anyone else with the keys to our home. Finally I decided on Merry Maids because they are so visible on social media. I knew they were going to be a little pricey, but wanted to have a clean home again.
The estimate felt honest and professional and transparent. They texted with the date and time of first cleaning and arrived on time and were done in a couple hours and the house was clean, except for the grout in the kitchen and bathooms. I texted and told them how I felt and they sent out a crew to focus on my dirty grout the next day! I am fully satisfied with my clean home and I trust Merry Maids like my old housekeeper!
