No complaints! It is hard to find guys who communicate and always do what they say. The team at Kniffing is great with all of the above.

I'll start my review by saying the first time Kniffing's Landscape worked on my property was 30 years ago. We have a fairly steep slope in our back yard that was planted and irrigated. They also did quite a bit of cement work and built a
patio cover. We recently had our slope cleaned up and everything was trimmed and fertilized.
The 2 landscapers who did this work completed what we requested to perfection. Eddie did most of the trimming and another gentleman did most of the cleaning up. Unfortunately I didn't get his name. At the end of the day they completed our requests without hesitation and at a very competitive cost considering the terrain they had to traverse. I think this is all you can ask for.

I have been working with Kniffing's Landscape since I moved into the house 5 years ago. They did an excellent job with the complete relandscaping of our property and continue to maintain it. I appreciate that the access to the company's nursery offers me a range of plants that they can easily add.

Kniffing’s Landscaping and Maintenance did an absolutely exceptional job. Jose, Michelle, and their entire team went above and beyond from start to finish. They didn’t just do yard work—they took my ideas and truly brought my vision to life with creativity, care, and craftsmanship.

They re-landscaped my entire front yard, installed a new irrigation system, added beautiful pathway lighting, and custom built a front yard fence. Every detail was handled with precision, and the end result completely transformed my home’s curb appeal.

Their pricing is very fair, the service is top notch, and communication throughout the project was excellent. It’s rare to find a team that combines great ideas, strong execution, and genuine pride in their work—but Kniffing’s delivers on all of it. I truly appreciate everything they do and the beautiful home environment they created for me. Highly recommend.

For bigger project, like kitchen restorations, they had done it poorly. Dean Williams, the project manager made excuse after excuse about not being available, about not getting the work done. Small Walk in closet mitigation took 3 weeks, kitchen mitigation took a month. Communication of project progress is terrible. Each step need to back and forth email Dean couple times in order to get it done.

Clean Earth is by far one of the best restoration companies out there in San Diego....I highly recommend this company!!! I have tried several restoration companies and I have never had any issues with this company:-)

Clean Earth Restorations is one of the few companies in town who are trained and certified to handle hoarding and bio recovery clean up services. They do a great job handling the sensitivity of an accidental death clean up scene or the challenges of helping someone who hoards.

Kevin Doggett is the best Contractor I've worked with. He is very professional, diligent, accommodating to my requests above and beyond the scope of work. A very nice experience.

they must be understaffed because they are dragging their feet. my bathroom walls were saturated from a leak upstairs and contained asbestos. Both my family and my property manager are annoyed with them. They only ever act when we call them and ask them to move on to the next step. If we never called and nagged them (and corrected them on their misinformation), I wouldn't have had a toilet for at least a month. Took an angry phone call to order them to stop what they're doing that day and send a guy here to do it on the day they first told me it would be done. Tried to get out of it by saying it isn't their job! Now I'm still waiting 3 weeks later to put new drywall and my sink back in the bathroom. It is not my job to tell you to do your job!

update a year later: more bathroom work and their poor communication hasn't improved. They tell you they'll be at your house on xyz day, then on that day you don't hear anything from them. When you call them, you get an outsourced answering service who doesn't know who you are or what's going on in your home and they can't transfer you to real employees. I don't know how many days they're going to leave me without a toilet but they led me to believe just half a day. Understaffed or too many simultaneous jobs.

if i could give 1000 stars i would. every single person i had dealings with, which i will shout out each person in this review, from clean earth restorations was professional, courteous, personable, and knowledgeable of the task at hand. they were always on time and always in communication with me on what the plan was and what was going to happen next.

background: the unit above me had a water leak. my water heater closet and outside dining room wall that connected to water heater closet was riddled with blue/black mold, smelt like chemicals, and was damp down to the 2x4s.

initially john/jon came to take a look and write an estimate of repairs and explain the basic process to me. he was professional and quick. in and out.

after the estimate was approved, logan came in on a saturday to set up the demo area. he was outgoing and personable. he helped me move my furniture out the way and set up a thick plastic air tight ceiling to floor quarantined area to protect the rest of my house/my family from what was to come. his work was like a master piece. it was so neat. he also placed some machines to start drying out the walls to get the ball rolling on repairs.

during the drying time, clean earth sent out a few testers to test the mold, dampness, air quality, and to check for lead, asbestos, all that. even the testers were pleasant.

after all the test came back ok to move forward with demo work, cameron and vince came. cam and vince were knowledgeable, polite, and professional. i actually enjoyed their company during the time they were here to work. they kept me informed when they were here, always communicated when they would need to come and go, and chit chatted small talk here and there. they both had great attitudes and personalities. the type of workers you want around you in a bad situation to tell a funny joke or 2. they had positive outlooks and didnt hold back or sugar coat the job, they told the truth every step of the way. cam and vince were here to do the hard dirty work. the demolition crew. breaking down the walls, sanding, hammering, drilling, all of the above. but with such a dirty task they were so clean and neat!!!! they never left a mess during the time they worked and they cleaned up after themselves every day!!! they never left anything laying out or around or trash left behind. i was so impressed with the standards clean earth restorations held themselves to. making a horrible situation into a pleasant experience. i thought this would be a long drawn out process but cam and vince got busy! they worked hard, they worked together and they worked quickly, which i 100% appreciated. when they finished i was kind of sad to see them go, but happy they were done. hahaha :) such cool guys!!

once cam and vince finished, shawn came. shawn is the structural estimator. he came in to see what it would take to get my condo back to normal. he estimated cost for drywall, paint, carpet cleaning, all that good stuff. i probably sound like a broken record but even my dealings with shawn were pleasant. he was very personable and polite. once shawn finished his estimates, he contacted me within a few days to let me know he had a crew ready to rock and come in to finish the job. his drywall crew had my house back to normal within 4 days. walls, paint, baseboards.....its like nothing ever happened.

i 100% recommend clean earth restorations for any need or situation you may have. i can not say enough and boast enough about the company, their values, their morals, and employees. it was a great experience and refreshing to know that there are companies still out there who take pride in customer relations and rapport not just the job they are committed to do

They handled the reconstruction after water damage and everything looks great!

We have had two major mold issues from running water in our walls from the condo above. Cameron and his team of Fred, Angel, and Darnell did an amazing job both times in remediating the situation. I highly recommend them!

we had a flood in a rental condo. tenant had to move out for about 6

the repairs/products. they were most helpful and considerate. and,
best of all, everything they did was fine workmanship.

I have used Clean Earth Restorations for several years, in rentals and my own homes. They are prompt, very friendly and professional, and have done an exceptional job cleaning my carpets. I highly recommend Clean Earth. They go the extra mile to get out stains and make the carpets look great.

Love the professionalism of the company and crew. They answered all of my questions. Informed me of black mold while repairing water damage my water heater caused. They informed me of the safety issues with my house having black mold and it's requiring special care. They helped with setting up a company to come pack my belongings and store it for us. When the mold job is done the pack out company will bring my stuff back to my house. I had a lot of stuff and the packers were very careful with my belongings. The company provided a lock box for front door. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone that needs help.
