Customer service is fantastic!

Staff was friendly and welcoming however the selection of products was severely lacking. We didn't end up purchasing anything because the selection was so poor but some may find it useful for some projects just not for ours.

The best place around Encinitas for irrigation supplies and landscaping materials. I’ve used Grangettos extensively, starting in the early 1990s. Very friendly helpful service whether you are a do it yourselfer like me, or a professional landscaper!

Prices as good or better than Home Depot, but REALLY friendly and knowledgeable people here!!! Really kind woman Jen took time to chat with me about my fruit trees, fertilizers, soils... This is the place to go for garden needs!!

Grangettos is my source for a huge variety of landscape needs. I am a licensed Landscape Contractor and have sourced products all over the county. Grangettos has the best products and service available. I highly recommend the Gardner & Bloome Clay Buster Soil Building compost. It is a great soil amendment especially for tough clay soils. Any irrigation part you need for the landscape or the green house is there. Go and find out what a great place it is.

Rudest sales rep in irregation ever encountered. Wife just got back from trying to purchase irrigation supplies. Had questions on how to hook up 30 year old non standard irrigation line to new pvc. We have an acre and a quarter and have been reworking old irrigation lines on our own for over 9 years. Salesrep needs to drop his machismo attitude and actually listen to what customers have to say and maybe look at the pictures brought in illustrating the problem rather than refusing to even work with the customer and hand it off to a 20 year old with no experience. I am so furious right now for the treatment an waste of time. Will not be returning for supplies, sprays, or anything after this experience. He even told her to go hire someone to do it. We have 35 year old avocado trees that we need to consider before tearing everything up. Having a hard time keeping review non-profane both in english and spanish (I am Hispanic).

Fast, friendly and affordable. So much easier and kor knowledgeable than the big box. Way more organics on the shelf and the complete set of drip emitters and Hunter MP rotators. I've been a Grangettos customer for 30 years. This new encinitas location never disappoints.

I went in today to pick up some parts I needed. I was assisted by Victor with a great attitude. He was doing a multitude of tasks however he still took the time to help me get the parts I needed. I definitely recommend and will back!

I've used several local landscapers and another larger companiy over the years, and Van Slyke is hands down the best. The service, the attention to detail, and the fact that I don't have to ask any questions, or look for clarification makes it all worth it to me.

We hired Van Slyke Landscape to help renovate our back yard. JB worked with us from start to finish and was absolutely amazing to work with! We began with general ideas, then JB steered us through to a final design. He is very knowledgeable and innovative! His ideas, familiarity of building materials, their advantages/disadvantages and cost, as well as his expertise with the latest technology, created a design that far exceeded our expectations! The best part is, it was all within our budget - no surprises. Not only that, construction was on time. Everything JB said or committed to do, was right on. JB's crew was also wonderful to work with, as well everyone I met and worked with at Van Slyke!

Had them start a weekly yard service. A month in, out of know where. They were sending me text demanding dog poop pick-up. Terri said it needed to happen right then, before they could service the yard. I was literally in the middle of working and couldn't do it. The second time I was on Vacation getting text from Terri about dog poop pickup demands again. I called the owner to figure out why this was happening.He said we needed to hire someone to pickup the dog poop or make sure we got it all picked off the lawn before they serviced our yard. We said picking up a little dog wast before you mow, should not be a problem. They told us they wouldn't be able to service our yard and gave us 30 day notice . All over picking up a little dog wast on the lawn before mowing.They had never mentioned dog poop being a problem when they quoted me or for the first month they serviced my yard.Our previous and current gardener have never said anything about the dog wast on the lawn . My dogs don't even poop exclusively on our lawn. They have a hill they use .The lawn poop was not excessive. I was very confused, because how could we be the only yard with dogs, that might need a few poop scoops before mowing? They could take 5 minutes and scoop it real quick. This was a $900+ service I was paying for . They were supposed to make the yard better and make thing less stressful for us. Not more. Very disappointing customer service. The whole thing was just so weird. Glad we are using other gardens and we didn't hire them for anything else.
