I went in today to pick up some parts I needed. I was assisted by Victor with a great attitude. He was doing a multitude of tasks however he still took the time to help me get the parts I needed. I definitely recommend and will back!

I've used several local landscapers and another larger companiy over the years, and Van Slyke is hands down the best. The service, the attention to detail, and the fact that I don't have to ask any questions, or look for clarification makes it all worth it to me.

We hired Van Slyke Landscape to help renovate our back yard. JB worked with us from start to finish and was absolutely amazing to work with! We began with general ideas, then JB steered us through to a final design. He is very knowledgeable and innovative! His ideas, familiarity of building materials, their advantages/disadvantages and cost, as well as his expertise with the latest technology, created a design that far exceeded our expectations! The best part is, it was all within our budget - no surprises. Not only that, construction was on time. Everything JB said or committed to do, was right on. JB's crew was also wonderful to work with, as well everyone I met and worked with at Van Slyke!

It has been a year since our renovation was completed and we love our yard! It is low maintenance, perfectly functional, and beautiful! Furthermore, JB is still checking in, making sure everything is OK. I cannot say enough good about our experience in working with JB, and everyone at Van Slyke Landscape!

Had them start a weekly yard service. A month in, out of know where. They were sending me text demanding dog poop pick-up. Terri said it needed to happen right then, before they could service the yard. I was literally in the middle of working and couldn't do it. The second time I was on Vacation getting text from Terri about dog poop pickup demands again. I called the owner to figure out why this was happening.He said we needed to hire someone to pickup the dog poop or make sure we got it all picked off the lawn before they serviced our yard. We said picking up a little dog wast before you mow, should not be a problem. They told us they wouldn't be able to service our yard and gave us 30 day notice . All over picking up a little dog wast on the lawn before mowing.They had never mentioned dog poop being a problem when they quoted me or for the first month they serviced my yard.Our previous and current gardener have never said anything about the dog wast on the lawn . My dogs don't even poop exclusively on our lawn. They have a hill they use .The lawn poop was not excessive. I was very confused, because how could we be the only yard with dogs, that might need a few poop scoops before mowing? They could take 5 minutes and scoop it real quick. This was a $900+ service I was paying for . They were supposed to make the yard better and make thing less stressful for us. Not more. Very disappointing customer service. The whole thing was just so weird. Glad we are using other gardens and we didn't hire them for anything else.

Great company that does great work. Their service, attention to detail and care of the property has really transformed my home and garden.

My wife Diane and I built our home here in Olivenhain in 1979. It is one acre and I knew right away I needed help landscaping. Van Slyke Landscape is conveniently nearby and Paul designed and installed a watering system that is still functioning today with minimal maintenance. I would recommend Van Slyke Landscaping to anyone who needs a reliable company to design a new plan and maintain an existing landscape.

Van Slyke has been maintaining the landscape of our Rancho Santa Fe home for three years, and their creativity, knowledge and service are stellar. Our property has multiple slopes, which in less experienced hands would look horrible, but VS manages them perfectly. All of our plants are vigorous, healthy, and beautiful, even during periods of unusual rain or dryness. We highly recommend VS for those seeking superlative landscape service.

Terri and Arnolfo and amazing! Van Slyke is always there for us and very responsive whether we need assistance with anything from struggles growing grass, irrigation breaks, or sprucing up our landscaping. We cannot say enough about how helpful they are and they have been the only ones able to help us grow beautiful green grass with water conservation in mind.

Van Slyke Landscape has elevated my property and I couldn’t be happier. All of the staff go above and beyond to communicate with me and take my yard to the next level. They plant seasonal flowers & suggest items such as overseeding my lawn & adding mulch but I don’t feel like I’m being over sold on improvements. Their prices are fair & I highly recommended them!!!

I have been very happy with Van Slyke landscape maintenance services. My supervisor is a certified arborist with real knowledge about plants, pests, and irrigation. The crew chief does a thorough and thoughtful job each week, and is responsive to my additions and preferences. Plus, they are available for the occasional project or construction fix. I would recommend highly.

Van Slyke is great! We have been working with them since 2013 when they completely renovated our landscaping and added a swimming pool and spa. They have maintained our landscape ever since. Terri and Juan are super talented and responsive. We could not be happier. Highly recommend!

I hired Sean Van Slyke a couple years ago to renovate our front yard and back yard landscaping which included design, plant installation, and irrigation installation. Since then, his renovation crew has come back to maintain the plants, irrigation and drainage when needed. Arnulfo and his crew always respond promptly to my calls and needs. They are professional and careful. It's easy for me to recommend Sean, Arnulfo and crew for landscaping and irrigation needs.

Jon did a fabulous job building our 2 new gates. Not only do they work well- but look great too!

Jon and his crew did an excellent job implementing a large and complex carex planting on our steep front slope, thoroughly testing and troubleshooting our irrigation system, installing new sprinklers as well as new drip line, and problem solving on the spot. He also kept us very well informed on how the project was going so there were no surprises. I highly recommend their services and would definitely hire him again.

We recently worked with Jon and his team at Homegrown Bounty Garden for an irrigation and tree planting project. His team did great with both. We are picky gardeners and were looking for someone we could trust to do the job we wanted, and was willing to listen to how we wanted the projects to be done… Jon was great. He listened, had constructive feedback and was able to cleanly execute our plan. We loved his attention to detail and his wide knowledge base. He is not a fly by night landscaper. He thoughtfully thought about each component of what we were looking for. We would highly recommend him and his team for any landscape type project. They will do a great job for you.
