We had a large job and they did an excellent job completing the project. They are extremely professional, friendly, courteous and take great pride in their work. They competed running a gas line, electrical, a firepit and footings for a qazebo we will be adding. They cleaned up everyday and finished on time. I am very satisfied with the work River Rock Outscape performed. Their price was reasonable (not the lowest nor the highest bid I received) and they were helpful and professional throughout the entire job. They worked with me to accommodate new or modified requests as the project progressed, and everything came out looking fantastic. They took the time to clean up each day before heading out, sweeping any dust or gravel, so that the impact to my neighbors and neighborhood was minimal. They also did a pavers job for my parents 6 years ago and their work from then still looks great.

These guys are total pros and I highly recommend them for their professionalism, communication, timeliness, and quality of work. Brad listened to my plan to convert my lawn backyard into a patio, took detailed notes, and explained key things to consider. Octavio and team executed it precisely, helping me to pick the right tile to match the existing one, and finishing the project exactly according to timeline.

River Rock did excellent work in turning our blank slate back yard into a beautiful, usable space. We worked together to design a yard we would enjoy for years to come. They were prompt, reasonable priced in the custom market, hired their own in house workers and managed the project well!

Roy Murillo and his team did an amazing job. I designed our front and back yards and am floored at how they made it into reality! They helped to transform a so-so tract home front yard into something attractive and our pile of dirt back yard into something beautiful.

Along the way, Roy was good at communicating with us and his team. His team are masters at their craft and take pride in their work. Their attention to detail with things we didn't even think of was appreciated - such as adding a small grade to the patio so water all flows into the drains they installed. When we miscommunicated or if something wasn't up to our extremely high standards (like we wanted one side of the firepit to be moved over 3/4"), Roy simply had his team fix it.

The other big plus was Roy's willingness and ability to communicate with our pool contractor. I barely was involved. Both of them discussed plans and Roy listened to what our pool contractor needed for drainage around the pool and how tile should be placed around the pool cover well. I didn't have to worry about gas lines, drainage etc.. they figured out what needed to be done between them.

Roy typically focuses on 1-2 jobs at a time, so there was momentum on our job. We saw many of our neighbors abandoned by their contractors half way, disappearing for a month or more, but Roy's team kept showing up, and got our job done quite quickly.

When we had issues with our polymeric sand setting (something to do with our tile - Roy used the same polymeric sand and base at other sites and it worked), Roy and his team persisted in finding a solution. Even though everything was pretty much done, they tried several times to make things right. Finally, we found an Irish product on Amazon that did the trick. It's not a product typically sold in the US and is applied differently from regular polymeric sand. Roy made sure his team watched the videos and went over the instructions with them so the product was applied correctly. We are so happy he helped us find a solution (and we learned a lesson - sometimes it's better to stay away from super cheap, need to clear the store room, product)!

In summary, working with Roy Murillo and his crew was a great experience. His pricing is reasonable (I compared several landscapers), and he and his crew truly know what they are doing. I have recommended them to family and neighbors and would work with them again in a heartbeat.

After 4 years Green Valley. Landscape continues to impress us with their service, their competence and their responsiveness We are a community with large expanses of open space in addition to front yards of 300 homes They committed to a cycle time when they began and they have maintained it consistently.
They have made our madmen of our community much much easier. They are a joy to deal with.

We see this landscaping crew out in Altimira 1 & 2 (Carlsbad) often. They do a fantastic job keeping up with everything. Everyone is personal and friendly. They always stop noisy or spraying tools when we are walking by. Nice work!
