This company manages my community's landscape. It's slowly deteriorating to the point where it will cost the community a small fortune to restore the landscape to the level it was before this company took over.

I don't know how you can mow an area of turf the size of a living room, miss four spots, not review your work and just move on. And this is an area of turf 10 yards from where they park their truck.

We have weeds everywhere. They can be three feet high and they'll still go unnoticed.

They won't cut the suckers off trees. I cut them myself and left the clippings on the sidewalk and they were ignored until I threw them away.

They have no design capabilities. My neighbor asked for her landscape to be changed, they removed all her landscaping and then asked her to design a replacement. I've been staring at dirt for more than a month now.

They hard prune everything. Even plant material that shouldn't be pruned, like succulents. Nothing looks natural.

They refuse to pick up any landscape debris that they believe has come from one of the residents' back yards. We even received an email from our HOA with a deadline to trim our landscaping away from fences.

I've never seen so many dandelions in a "professionally" managed property.

They won't pickup trash in the landscaping. I'll walk past the same trash for weeks. Sometimes they hide it so they don't have to pick it up.

If your community is considering this company, don't. They're horrible and it won't get better.

This company was hired by my HOA and they kicked up rocks and debris onto my brand new BMW and now are refusing to fix the damages to my vehicle because I didn’t catch it on video. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY; they are careless and if they ruin something, they take no responsibility. Over $4000 to get new windshield replaced and bumper and hood repainted from the damages they caused.

Great experience with Green Valley in my community. They take excellent care of the grounds in my community and are so nice to deal with!

Green Valley Landscape has been our Landscape company for over a decade in Altamira One in Carlsbad, Ca. Our community is extremely unique as we have 15 acres of walking space throughout our 326 homes. The staff is on-site daily and interact with community homeowners in a very friendly basis additionally, Green Valley has assisted us with installing recycled water throughout half of our community, they worked with the city and had a complete understanding of the procedure. When CalTrans added an HOV lane Green valley worked with our HOA team to secure a proper amount of $$ to remodel well over a mile of landscape along the new freeway wall “it looks amazing” ! They are extremely present and reactive on a daily basis in our community. As you know many can happen and they are quick to respond. We here at Altamira One highly recommend Green Valley Landscape. I hope this recommendation helps anyone looking for a solid Residential or Community Landscape company.

I highly recommend Green Valley Landscape. They have been our HOA’s landscape maintenance company for the past three years, and are completing the third and final phase of conversion of over 100,000 square feet of grass to xeriscaping throughout our association. They are professional, responsive, honest, and knowledgeable, with an excellent work ethic, management and work crews. The crews who service our property twice weekly are overseen by a manager, not a crew member. Crews are uniformed and do their jobs well. We have never had a problem with any crew member. Management provides reports of work to be done as identified on monthly walkthroughs and it is always completed before the next month’s inspection. A subsidiary, Oak Valley Tree Service, does a great job of taking care of about 200 trees on our property. Pricing for both services is competitive and fair. Vista Verde Landscape two great jobs for my in 2024. One was creative and involved pavers and concrete work for a large patio. The other was project of adding a french drain in the back yard against a wall. It was a difficult project since there was a lot of mud from a landslide due to the January 2023 rains. This saved my yard and wall. In both jobs they were collaborated well under some difficult condition and worked with me on options to adjust the cost by offering different designs. I would definitely hire them again.

Would highly recommend Alvaro and team! They did fantastic work for me putting in turf, new plants and concrete in my backyard. They were very timely each day, communicated well and their pricing was competitive.

We received a recommendation on Vista Verde from a friend who had major work done. We had a small job to do a bit of a refresh on the front yard: swap out plants, trim, repair the drip system, and new mulch. We are very happy with the results. Al/his team always showed up on time and are very professional. Al sent me a text on plant choices, and he also gave me the opportunity to review them the day he bought them. We hire Vista Verde Landscape for our yard maintenance and recently hired them to landscape our backyard. Every time they have done work at our house they have exceeded our expectations!

The landscape project consisted of demolition and removal, building a 10’ by 12’ deck, removing a fence gate and reinstalling it in a different location, pouring concrete, putting in a raised flower bed, putting in turf and a drainage system. From needing TLC to drawing up concept, to putting the project in action Al and his team are incredible. Made it truly come together. His team is family and hard working, they are honest and extremely fair with their pricing. Took this house from an average house people walk by and don’t notice at all to the show stopper on the block that everyone is asking about. He was able to pressure was the house, replace all rotted out wood, paint the house, remove the original driveway from the 1950s, expand the drive way, remove hedges intrusively growing under the garage, replace a fence with a gate, add a sprinkler system and drip, Astro truf, white picket fence and new mailbox. We are a military family and not currently living in San Diego and was able to leave the project in his hands and trust it to be done on time and how we wanted and within our budget! Amazing team and would recommend them to anyone.

I really appreciate, Baruc, Martin, and his family/crew at EM L&D. After interviewing several companies for my swimspa renovation project, I decided to go with EM, and I'm glad I did.
