My husband & i have contracted Tom & and his crew for 3 seperate projects over the last six years. First project was fairly straight forward but turned out beautifully! They removed our old cracked concrete driveway and replaced with Belgard pavers, wow what an improvement to our front entry way! Second project was a re-do of our back yard which was predominantly weeds "lawn". We replaced it with a large flag stone patio and patio cover. What a difference now we have shade over our patio and a much lower water bill. The most recent project in July of this year, was an IPE wood deck off the side of our house which allows us a partial view of the ocean. This is my favorite place to relax. They installed a spa into the deck & LED lighting around the edge of the deck which looks amazing at night and great for entertaining! 3 of my neighbors have used Dandy landscape on my recommendation & loved their work! Thumbs up 👍

We contracted Dandy Landscape construction this past October. To install a paver pool deck and patio cover. Project lasted about 1 month and was completed as promised. We were completely satisfied with the final finish. The kids love it! Will be contracting Dandy Landscape for another project early next year for our front yard. 100% Recommended!

Impressive quality, price and selection of plants. Beautiful grounds in Escondido. They have a small pond care section with mist jets outside. Lovely place to visit!

I never fail to find interesting, healthy plants when I stop at El Plantio. In addition, my questions are answered and I generally find what I’m looking for. Shopping at El Plantio is high on my list of things to do.

This nursery is a joy to shop. The entrance looks like a small shop but it is huge. Their variety of plants is impressive and their displays/staging is unique. They also stock a variety of soil amendments, soils, etc.

We hired them to landscape our back yard and to plant Kurapia. This they did well. However, 12 months later of using their weekly maintenance the Kurapia is dead and they are ignoring my requests to fix this. Do not hire them.

Love El Plantio! Great selection of plants you won't find at other nurseries. Staff are so helpful and kind. I always find lovely plants to come live with me.

If you need a little advice and an amazing selection then stop in. This place has really great people at the helm. The kids and I were able to get a wide variety of plants and flowers and had fun while doing it.

Best shop in Escondido for flowers, plants, fruit and vegetable starts. Super knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Great experience. They have a ton of plants from waterwise California natives to fruit trees for the backyard grower. Their prices are much better than some of the other garden centers and they have the soils and such to go with the plants. A one stop shop for your gardening supplies. Highly recommended.

Depending on the day, sometimes the nursery has a good variety of plants, then other times. . not so much.
It’s hit & miss on the plants types. I have left my name on a list to be called when a specific plant came in,
did not hear back? I would have appreciated a mess. back to let me know they didn’t forget my request, regardless of the findings.

Love El Plantio! The folks here are helpful & knowledgeable. The plants are healthy & we'll taken care of without a ton of pesticides. They're also a great place for helping you create an edible landscape. They don't have the gigantic selection of some of the larger nurseries, but what they lack in quantity they make up for in knowledge & customer service.

Great plant selection . Fair prices, excellent customer service. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the didn't have the apple chilies I wanted( they normally do even the red ones that I like) Parking can get a little tight so get here early on the weekends.

Love this place! Everyone is nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Very healthy plants, which translates out to $$$, but that's just how things are these days. A $25 roses 2 years ago, is now $40.

By far the best experience at a nursery......the moment I walked in I felt welcome......The staff was very knowledgeable and willing to help me find what I was looking for. It is a beautiful place with a wide selection of plants, trees and flowers I had never seen before. This is my new favorite place to shop for all my gardening needs.
