I’ve been using Tree Barber for years now, and Paul, Luke, and their crew are the best! They go out of their way to provide top-notch service, e.g. when I had a Monterey Pine pruned, I was told to let my neighbor know ahead of time. But on the day that the work was done, Luke went over to the neighbor’s property before he did anything else and covered their patio and plants. I also highly recommend having Paul come out for consultation service if you have ailing trees. That was how I started using Tree Barber. I was shocked one day to see that the canopy of a couple of trees were yellow and withering, so naturally, I panicked ;-) and called some tree services and arborists to come out and look at the trees. Unfortunately what I was being told and the suggestions offered were not in line with my own research. Paul was the last arborist to come out, and he nailed it! Now the trees are thriving again. He came out this week for a consultation because I had concerns about two trees. Paul checked out those trees and also walked the property looking at everything. This is a very educational experience, and I always learn a lot from Paul.

I had my mimosa tree trimmed. Paul did a fantastic job. He was very careful to trim just enough while keeping the shape in mind. He is a true tree artist!

Tree Barber trimmed and treated various trees around our house today. I am thrilled with the results! In particular two mature olive trees that had essentially become barren and lifeless due to disease had shown some promise with new shoots from the base. Paul and Luke shared that they are seeing this a lot and knew just what to do. They cut the lifeless part out and artistically shaped our olives into new trees! New life! And a new and much improved look for our landscape! I highly recommend their services.

Tree Barber is simply the best. We have hired them a few different times as well as our family members have also done so. Paul ( the Tree Barber) did an excellent job trimming and pruning our avocado trees and a bougainvillea in our yard. He left everything very neat and tidy. He gives excellent

Second time using Tree Barber and the result is fantastic. They are on time, professional, careful as they work and clean everything up. They go above and beyond, doing little extra things without even asking them. I highly recommend.

I have been using Tree Barber for years for tree trimming and tree removal at my home and a rental property. Paul, Luke and their entire crew are so helpful and professional. They are quick to respond to texts and calls and have great follow up. They are arborists and are so knowledgeable about trees and their care. They do a great job and leave the yard looking great. They take time to answer questions about tree health as well as being able to give advice on what to keep, to add or to remove from your yard. I have recommended them to several friends and highly recommend them to anyone in need of tree trimming, care or removal.

The Tree Barber crew did a beautiful job taking out a 70’ + fir tree and cleaning out the remaining two. They cleaned everything up and even trimmed an overgrown hedge. We highly recommend them and would use them again.

This is the second time we've used Tree Barber for our tree trimming and removal services. They came highly recommended, and because we were happy with the work they did the first time, we called them back.

Paul came out for the quote, and Luke and his crew did the actual work. The workers were prompt, efficient, and did a wonderful job of removing 4 trees and trimming our favorite tree (pictured.) They also put in some extra work that we didn't really ask them to do and left our grounds cleaned up and neatened.

They are certified arborists so they can any questions you may have about trees. Give them a try! They will not disappoint.

Subpar quality and not a general contractor he’s a scab landscaper and wouldn’t use him for anything but that.

Ricardo knows his stuff. He's honest and fair, also. I highly recommend him.

Jose and his crew trimmed 9 large trees and 1 sycamore for our HOA and did an excellent job. The work was done timely and the price reasonable. I highly recommend Jose and Stumpmasters Tree Service.

Top Notch Tree Service is truly Top Notch. They are affordable, professional, polite and do excellent work. I would recommend them, even though we had to wait a short while for them....maybe a week. Their work and professionalism is worth the wait.

Charged more than original quote. We received a quote from Darren a month before service. On day of service he claimed my husband wanted the two trees removed. He had not wanted the trees removed only trimmed. Day of service the price went up $150 because we told him we wanted trees trimmed and laced and not removed. He said it was more work to have trees trimmed.
Also wanted to add that Darren asked for cell phone to send an invoice which he never did. He didn’t give us an invoice after job was done. For some reason
He decided to change us more and didn’t tell us until the job was half fine. If he had given us a quote on an invoice we wouldn’t have agreed to the increase in price.
If you have them do work for you be sure you get an invoice with the quote or the price can increase with no reasonable explanation.

DO NOT HIRE. I do not usually write negative reviews, but I'll make an exception for this experience. Top Notch Tree Care Inc., and the owner in particular, Darren Delgado, are unprofessional, unreliable, and do not care about their customers. I hired them for a simple tree removal and tree trimming job. However, in the unfortunate circumstance something goes wrong on the job, they will shift blame and responsibility any way they can to avoid owning up to their mistakes and correcting for it. The dollar is the bottom line for these guys. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. There are other companies that treat their customers with respect, care about the relationships that can lead to future business and who have just as competitive rates as Top Notch Tree Care.

We have used Top Notch twice over the years to thin out our large oak tree.
