Jose and his crew trimmed 9 large trees and 1 sycamore for our HOA and did an excellent job. The work was done timely and the price reasonable. I highly recommend Jose and Stumpmasters Tree Service.

Top Notch Tree Service is truly Top Notch. They are affordable, professional, polite and do excellent work. I would recommend them, even though we had to wait a short while for them....maybe a week. Their work and professionalism is worth the wait.

Charged more than original quote. We received a quote from Darren a month before service. On day of service he claimed my husband wanted the two trees removed. He had not wanted the trees removed only trimmed. Day of service the price went up $150 because we told him we wanted trees trimmed and laced and not removed. He said it was more work to have trees trimmed.
Also wanted to add that Darren asked for cell phone to send an invoice which he never did. He didn’t give us an invoice after job was done. For some reason
He decided to change us more and didn’t tell us until the job was half fine. If he had given us a quote on an invoice we wouldn’t have agreed to the increase in price.
If you have them do work for you be sure you get an invoice with the quote or the price can increase with no reasonable explanation.

DO NOT HIRE. I do not usually write negative reviews, but I'll make an exception for this experience. Top Notch Tree Care Inc., and the owner in particular, Darren Delgado, are unprofessional, unreliable, and do not care about their customers. I hired them for a simple tree removal and tree trimming job. However, in the unfortunate circumstance something goes wrong on the job, they will shift blame and responsibility any way they can to avoid owning up to their mistakes and correcting for it. The dollar is the bottom line for these guys. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. There are other companies that treat their customers with respect, care about the relationships that can lead to future business and who have just as competitive rates as Top Notch Tree Care.

We called Darren and he came out and gave the neighborhood a bid. We setup a time/date to come trim our trees. On the date, he never showed up. We called repeatedly and he never returned our call. We had to find another tree trimming service. I would only work with a reputable and responsible tree service company if you need the tree trimming.

Darren Delgado- Please respond to my calls that I have left for you. I sent you these pictures of my Canary Island Date Palms that you trimmed in February. They likely have the FATAL fungus disease Fusrium Wilt, which is transferred by tree cutting tools that haven't been cleaned. You said you would stop by to see them on May 5th, and I haven't heard from you since. As you can see, these were once beautiful trees, more than thirty years old. I can update this post once I hear from you.

Exceptional tree care service! From start to finish we were impressed. We had a variety of 10 palms, and a Bauhinia (Hong Kong Orchid Tree) trimmed. Some of the palms are over 20ft tall. We also had a Eucalyptus tree, two palm trees, and a 25-year-old, huge 10ft.x3ft Ficus hedge removed. Darren and his crew are friendly, professional, conscientious, fast and efficient. Loved working with Darren and his lead man Jr. We’ve had our tree's worked on numerous times in the last 10-years and no one has come close to the quality of work of Top Notch!

Darren and his small team did a wonderful job of removing a giant Canary Island Palm that Darren correctly diagnosed as being infested with an invasive beetle that was killing it. They also trimmed up my fence line and trimmed up 2 queen palms and two Mexican palms, all for a very reasonable price. They were quick, efficient and very careful to avoid all of my irrigation lines and other plants. All was done and cleaned up in one day. Darren was very pleasant and communicative. I would definitely recommend Top Notch Tree Care.

They did a great job removing a large dead tree and trimming my eucalyptus trees and palm trees and other smaller jobs. The price was very reasonable and they had a good size crew that worked very hard at it.
