Constraction reviews in Fallbrook, California

I recently had the pleasure of working with Home Pro Construction for a couple of projects at my home, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results! The team installed a beautiful retaining wall in our side yard and upgraded the lighting in our bathroom, exceeding our expectations in both quality and professionalism.

Throughout the projects, Gary and his team were punctual, communicative, and respectful of our home. He provided clear estimates, adhered to the timeline, and ensured that the work area was clean and tidy upon completion.

I highly recommend Gary and Home Pro Construction for any home improvement projects. His skill, dedication, and professionalism make him the ideal choice for future jobs. I will definitely be reaching out to him for our next project!

Home Pro Construction just completed a full remodel of my condominium's kitchen (down to the studs). Gary worked with me in advance to ensure that we had the critical decisions mae and big items (e.g., cabinets) ordered and on hand in advance of starting work. Gary developed a schedule and he and his subcontractors stuck to it. Throughout the process we had daily communication about status and what to expect the next day. During construction I was living in my home (not using my kitchen) and at the end of each day, workers cleaned up and organized materials to minimize impacts. Truly impressed by Gary and each of the staff and subcontractors -- construction, cabinets, electrical, plumbing, countertops and painting . All were a respectful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. They followed my HOA rules and we had no issues. Construction was completed on schedule. Love my new kitchen!

You can add us to the list of happy homeowners pleased with both the work and the character of Gary Sheppard of Home Pro Construction. We have used Gary for two major construction projects in our home - a full kitchen remodel ( 2020) and, just recently, a remodel of our primary bathroom (late fall of 2024). Both projects reinforced our confidence in his skills, his responsiveness, and his ethics. We are not detailed visionaries - starting both projects with more of a wish than a detailed plan. Gary helped us think things through, oversaw changes and design concerns while keeping his patience, his focus and his smile as issues or new ideas, requiring modifications, popped up! He and his subs were on time, here as promised and remained careful and considerate always – working together with him to ensure our home remained live-able, safe, and that all project work progressed well. We trusted Gary with his craft, his management and his interest in doing things right. We also truly enjoyed seeing him each & every day!

I first worked with Gary Sheppard and Home Pro Construction 10 years ago when I remodeled my kitchen. He was recommended to me by a friend. What a great referral! The kitchen turned out great and the experience working with Home Pro was very positive so I have worked with Gary about every 2 years since for needed projects in my older home. I trust his work and knowledge of construction and his contacts with excellent people in the industry, and I trust him as person to be fair, honest, professional, and caring. He has pride in his work and puts in the time to make sure the job is done correctly. The electricians, plumbers, painters, flooring people, his own crew have done excellent work. The projects he has handled for me include the kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel, replacing windows and a french door, installing new flooring/carpet, exterior house painting, retaining wall repair and extension, foundation leak. I have been happy with the results of all the projects. Gary is a problem solver. He created extra space in my kitchen, he and his crew found the leak from our deck to a closet after others didn’t and fixed the damage before mold set in, he figured out how to repair and extend our retaining wall instead of recommending a whole new wall. There have been times that I have had a project that I wanted to start on but Gary was in the middle of several large projects and couldn’t take it on. Instead of looking for someone else, I chose to wait because it was worth it to work with someone I knew I could trust to do good work and was a pleasure to work with. I have recommended Gary and Home Pro Construction to a friend who has used him to remodel multiple rooms in her house and I recommend him to you.

I am so happy with the projects that Home Pro Construction brought to life for me. I turned a furnace closet into a pantry, and added a closet to a bedroom that had none. I also tiled my kitchen floor to match the pantry floor. Gary and his crew (Alejandro! 🙌) have vision, work ethic, and integrity. I’d turn to them again in a heartbeat for any home project.

Home Pro Construction remodeled our entire home and built a custom deck off our yard over the canyon giving us an ocean view. The craftsmanship was exemplary, the workman professional, courteous and knowledgable and the price very competitive. We have recommended this company to family and friends and they have been consistent in their service and quality results. I highly recommend Home Pro Construction!

We just finished our third project with Gary Shepard and as always are very pleased with the outcome. Gary will give you a honest answer on all your questions and the timeline to finish the project. He was true to his word showing up each morning right on time. His prices are fair and he goes out of his way to stick to your budget. But the best part is he brings my vision to life. Quality work and stands behind his work

We have worked with Gary at Home Pro Construction for many years on different projects and are always satisfied with his work, scheduling, communication, and honesty. Home Pro Construction is very competitive in their pricing and very informative on each project letting us know exactly what the plan is. He starts and finishes the projects as promised and in a timely manner. We believe Gary is an honest and trustworthy contractor and we will continue to use him for future projects.

Gary Sheppard of Home Pro Construction is my go to contractor. I wouldn't consider anyone else. Gary is experienced, knowledgeable, creative, practical, organized, thoughtful and thorough. I call him "the solutions master" because of his uncanny ability to find the best solutions to solve perplexing unexpected kerfuffles. More importantly, Gary is a principled person of integrity. He's trustworthy. You can't go wrong if you choose him as your contractor.

We had a great experience working with Kendall Construction on the design and build of our backyard. From the beginning, their team was easy to work with, responsive, and genuinely interested in helping us create a space that fit our vision.

They guided us through the design process, offered helpful suggestions, and made sure everything was clearly communicated along the way. The installation went smoothly, and the quality of the work really shows in the finished product. The attention to detail and craftsmanship exceeded our expectations.

Overall, we’re very happy with how our backyard turned out and truly enjoyed working with Ken and team. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, reliable team for a backyard design and build project.

I give Ken and his crew my highest recommendation. I liked his communication throughout the planning and building process, how Ken worked for me through my troublesome HOA’s roadblocks, consistent start and finish times every day, how his own crew did all the work without subcontracting out, and how he provided project Ideas when needed and plenty of options when desired. I’m going to hire him again when I’m ready for my next project.

We recently had Ken out to help us design an outdoor kitchen for our backyard. We didn’t make it easy on him with multiple design changes and plenty of our own material input. He was nothing but kind and patient with us. He was great with our kids and managed our expectations through the whole process. Thanks Ken we will recommend you to our friends.

I had Kendall Construction come to our house in late 2020 to design and install the landscaping for my front yard. I've known Ken and his line of work for over 25 years. I've seen many of his projects and am intimately familiar with what an incredible vision he has for upscale landscaping, but wow, even I was shocked with the final product. My front yard now looks like a country club.

Ken's team was professional, on time, and worked their tails off. He designed the project and his team delivered the finish product perfectly. He was easy to work with, extremely responsive, and completely transformed not only the yard, but the entire property. I appreciate the work that Kendall Construction performed and look forward to future projects.

Kendall construction was so great and so easy to work with, and very willing to listen to input and add his input as well for what we feel is a beautiful finished product! Ken is very easy to get in contact with his crews are absolutely friendly work quickly and always on time. I highly recommend this company for any of your landscaping and exterior construction.

The pictures speak for themselves. We bought a new construction house with a dirt "blank slate" back yard. Ken was a pleasure to work with...and I say that having worked with a lot of different construction companies and people. He worked with us every step of the way and was always receptive to my wife's design ideas and input. What's more telling is Ken is literally the only construction person that my wife has enjoyed working with. His son and all of his employees are incredible people and they were always a pleasure to have around. Kendall Construction did our back yard and side yard. Next up is the front of the house and I cannot wait ! Down the road in a year or so we will be using them for a small pool in the back too ! Thank you Ken...you guys are amazing !!!

great company,

The kitchen in my condo flooded a year ago from an outside water leak.
SCCR was recommended to me for the restoration. Drew Hagerty and his kitchen designer, Darlyn Kranz are a fantastic team! My entire kitchen had to be renovated and new flooring put in. The crew was awesome from start to finish. My kitchen is beautiful! Everyone that sees it asks who did the restoration. Highly recommended!

Christian Sanchez did a good job on the dry wall job and was professional The whole time along with his partner

I had occasion to require Jeff's services again recently. What an easy and comfortable experience! I highly recommend Jeff Comerford for any of your HVAC needs. He replaced my air conditioner a few years back and recently serviced my furnace for me. What a refreshing and pleasant experience it is to work with Jeff. He's profoundly knowledgeable, experienced and precise. Additionally, I have found him to be a trustworthy person of integrity. Compared to what is typically offered by the "big companies," I believe you will find the service from Jeff and his assistants superior and of distinctly more value. Support a stellar local business in Fallbrook for any of your HVAC needs. You absolutely can't go wrong with Jeff.
