We didn't know what was going on beneath our house and I was in traffic and seen a AO DOWD Plumbing truck and I snapped a picture and called them! I set up an appointment with Jason for the next day and then got a text stating that they could come that same day! The two young men that came out were awesome. They found our problem and fixed it the same day under the house at nighttime! I would definitely recommend this small business to everyone! Great customer service from start to end! As a small business owner, reliability and being punctual is a rare but precious quality that we seek in vendors and technicians. Needless to say, this year was extremely difficult for small business owners. So when LA County finally allowed our operations to resume we had very short turnaround time. This is when we discovered that our Boiler wasn't functioning properly. I called multiple vendors and specialists, but decided to go with Jason from A O Dowd Plumbing because of the way he went about asking me what the issue and problems I was experiencing in trying to diagnose the situation over the phone. Most other competitors were more interested in making sure you know their rates and how this is considered overtime. As a business owner, I am as skeptical and jaded as they come unfortunately due to the numerous times of let downs, price gauging, and simply dealing with "call centers" than actual technicians. So I took a chance with Jason. Although he had other jobs prior to ours; he understood the urgency of our situation and sympathetic to the fact that we're just a small business barely trying to hang on while LA County wreck havoc with abrupt opening/closing policies. He scheduled our job for the early evening since he knew we needed our boiler to be fixed in order to get opened. He did a great job communicating when he was about to head over outside of LA County and the time frame to expect him. Upon arrival, he diagnosed the situation and presented the potential solutions along with the price quote. I highly recommend Jason because not only was he very professional but he was very transparent in how he was going to present potential solutions in tackling the problem. He did wonders in getting our very old but still solid boiler up and running in a couple hours. He definitely saved the day for us.

We had A O Dowd Plumbing come out to repair a toilet at our facility, and we couldn't be more satisfied. They offered a very reasonable price and delivered fast, efficient service. The plumber arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the issue, and had everything working perfectly in no time. Professional, friendly, and honest—exactly what you want in a plumbing company. Paul and Michael were amazing - hauled my old stove down 7 stairs and then my new gas stove up those stairs - carefully took handrail and several framed pictures off the wall to prevent damaging amything. Stove installation required trip to Home Depot for new valve. Off-brand stove was not an easy install, but these guys made it work. They were considerate and friendly - and very competent and professional. SO GLAD I called A O Dowd!

I had a kitchen sink that was stopped up so I called and left a msg for service. They responded rite away which surprised me considering the fact it was 04:30. They came out the very next day and took care of the problem. They were so nice and courteous, I was completely blown away. I will refer all my friends, family to A.O. Dowd. They are the real deal!

On 1/26/26 I had DOWD PLUMBING INC recommended to me by my brother-in-law. Enrique and Josh came out and immediately located my water leak. I didn’t want my house foundation dug up without having professionals pinpoint an approximate area. They were very professional and knowledgeable! I called AO Dowd plumbing because of a possible leak coming from an upstairs bathroom. Josh arrived on time and conducted a thorough check but found no evidence of a leak. A restoration company came the same day and concurred with his findings . Josh was thorough, friendly and explained everything to me. I will call AO Dowd if I need their service in the future. Great service guys!

Was scheduled to come out but then they cancelled. Said they would try to come later but didn't. I texted them and gave them another chance to call me back but I guess my job wasn't "big enough " to waste their time. Took them off my list.

I can't say enough good things about this company. Anthony came to my home yesterday to replace a bad water heater. He was on time, had all the parts he needed with him, and was very quick and neat in getting it done. I had received quotes for other companies and his costs were less then 1/2 of what the others wanted! I got a good AO Smith commercial Water Heater installed in about 2 hours!

When a customer requests a receipt, it should be provided automatically without them needing to ask. Additionally, if there are any frustrations because my parents chose not to hire the company you recommended, please understand that every customer has the right to select the business that best fits their needs.

Kitchen sink backed up. Called and got an appointment for the next morning. Showed up on time and ran a snake line to clean the pipes. Everything works great. Professional all the way. Paid with a card and got my receipt emailed immediately.

RMG installed my tankless water heater with great care! They were very efficient and knowledgeable. Their price is reasonable. I’d definitely use them again for other plumbing services!
