I can’t explain how big of a headache it’s been dealing with this price gauging company! This is going to be a long story. We had a slab leak which resulted in a small flood in our home. I called the first available plumber which was Mr Rooter. The cost was $6k but I was reassured by everyone on their team, multiple times, that my insurance would cover $5500 of those $6k. We had this work done on 05/16 it’s been PAST A MONTH and I’ve yet to see a dime of this money my insurance would reimburse me. The reason you might ask? My insurance (Mercury home insurance) is trying to figure things out with them as to why they charged me such a high amount. My adjuster has been reaching out to Mr. Rooter as have I so they can discuss the breakdown/invoice of the total cost. My broker assures me that Mr Rooter works off of commission so that’s why they charge so much, but she can only justify $3k of the $6k charges. Mr Rooter is stalling this process terribly! How dare they reassure me we would get $5500 reimbursed when they won’t even call my insurance company back so they can discuss the charges. They blatantly lied in my face and I couldn’t be more upset. I’ve called them countless times and every time they reassure me that the supervisor named Gabriel will reach out to my adjuster. Has he? No he absolutely does not. It seems like since they don’t care about me getting my reimbursement. At first I had to written them a great review because I was very happy with the service. They were professional, courteous, explained things to me and were time efficient. But last week I had another leak happen on the same exact pipe that they had JUST worked on. Mr Rooter came back out and told me it’s not their fault that there was another leak, despite the leak being on the SAME PIPE just a bit further back. They didn’t offer any warranty for their work that was just weeks old! Today I had another company come repair it because Mr Rooter wanted to charge me another $4k to fix it. I had All Pro Plumbers come out and they fixed it for $1025. That’s right, you read that correctly, a quarter of what Mr Rooter wanted to charge me. You won’t believe what this plumber today showed me. A pipe was TWISTED while Mr Rooter worked on it originally. I have no way of confirming they did this on purpose wanting me to change the entire pipes of the home, which would be another $20k. But either their plumbers didn’t know what they were doing or they repaired it incorrectly with intentions of getting me to spend $20k!!!!!! ABSURD. I’ve never felt this distasteful towards a company. I urge you to not waste your time or your money, we are in a recession, these people offer terrible work at a ludicrous price point. Call All Pro Plumbers they really helped me out!!! Attached is the photo of the twisted pipe that caused our SECOND LEAK.

We called and got a same day appt, Jaime came out and was very professional and helpful, he explained the drain situation and provide several different solutions. When he was done the shower looked cleaner than it had in a long time and worked like new, highly recommend to anyone having plumbing issues!

We had a slow draining shower drain. Brooks came out and was very honest and polite. The issue turned out to be a drain valve issue, rather than a clogged drain. He gave many recommendations to improve not only the flow, but also ideas to improve the water quality. He provided a lot of information that I was previously unaware of. My sprinkle pvc pipe was damaged and the water flooded my front lawn. The tech fixed the cracked pipe and stopped the water from flowing. I liked that I was provided a quote prior to starting the fix and tech was honest.

When your team arrived, two technicians came out but told me they were not authorized to diagnose the issue or discuss possible solutions. About 45 minutes later, their supervisor (we’ll call him Max) arrived. He ran a camera and confirmed exactly what I had already told the initial crew. We agreed to dig up the affected section of pipe where roots had penetrated and replace it. I also asked that he check for blockages beyond that point, which he agreed to do once the repair was made.

The next day, Max ran his camera from the repaired section to the sewer line (approximately 30–35 feet) and noted that the pipe under the sidewalk and street was in poor condition and should be lined. However, what I found unacceptable was the sales approach that followed. He told me that if I didn’t line the pipe immediately, it would deteriorate further to the point where it could no longer be lined and would require full replacement — including excavation under the sidewalk and street, city oversight, and a cost of at least $45,000.

This type of scare tactic is highly inappropriate and unprofessional. It’s especially concerning because it could easily pressure or mislead customers, particularly elderly homeowners, into unnecessary and extremely costly repairs. I’ve lived in my neighborhood for many years and have never seen anyone’s street or sidewalk dug up for sewer pipe replacement.

That said, I want to acknowledge that the price charged for the original work — digging up and replacing the bad section of pipe — was fair. My preferred fix was to install an easy clean-out near the sidewalk close to the street, and that was done exactly as requested. The crew did a professional job, and when they left, you would never have known there had been a seven-foot hole in my front yard.

Mr. Rooter needs to move away from hard-sell and upsell tactics and focus on being fair and honest with customers. Quality work and integrity will always speak louder than doomsday scare tactics.

My toilets are backed up and I was very upset because I didn't know what was wrong with it. And Ricardo O. Came to my house and fixed it. The young guy was nice , polite and told me everything he was doing and why. I will always use this company and request for Ricardo.

So I had Richard Gutierrez come out and take a look at my daughters toilet. He was super knowledgeable and understanding and really worked with us. He had a lot of information and got the toilet working well.

My husband and I had five days of work done at our home. The entire crew was very professional and arrived on time. We had several days with mostly Baraa Kassar finishing the work. He did an excellent job and everything is working well for us two weeks later. We would definitely recommend this company for future plumbing service.

Excellent service, professionalism and fast response from Mr. Rooter. Hector Lopez and Carlos Mayorquin helped replace my sewer line that was damaged. They came after hours on a Friday and kept at it for several days. The price was fair. I will use them again and would recommend!
