Constraction reviews in Freedom, California

These guys did a giant deck repair for me and it is perfect. You can't say that very often. Perfect!

I used Knowlton Construction after the Loma Prieta earthquake to do some major repair work to my other house. When our upstairs bathroom shower started leaking I searched for contractors and I was surprised Bill was still at it. He submitted a reasonable estimate in a timely manner. We had them upgrade the shower, replace the tile floor, add a vent and electrical outlet for the bidet. Positives: the project turned out very well. The plumbing and tile subcontractors did great work. His lead man, Patrick was competent (although a bit grumpy). Criticisms: Communication on the scheduling could have been much better, it took 5 months for completion, prices on change orders were not give, so I was surprised about some of the charges. It was taking so long, I actually did the finish plumbing, cleaning and touch up myself. I understand this was in the midst of the pandemic and Bill had some health and family issues, but that's a long time without the bathroom.

Great company. They were professional and honest. The work on our home was done quickly and at a very fair price. I have even referred them on to friends. I would highly recommend them and will use them again.

Designed and created an excellent garbage can shed. Not only is it stylish, a strong wind won’t disturb it. Well made with attention to detail. Painted to match the house. Highly recommend this construction contractor and his crew.

Joel and the crew from NorCal Coast Construction did an amazing job. They were fast, professional, and we now have a beautiful and sturdy entryway deck that will last for lifetimes of use. Thanks Team, your craftsmanship is top notch and you knocked this project (and our expectations) out of the park!

Had great service - prompt, competent, efficient. We had some tricky wood rot on the exterior of the house fixed, and 2 rooms stripped of wallpaper textured and painted. Super nice people.

NorCal Coast Construction was efficient, detailed, and well priced compared to other options I looked at. I couldn’t believe how fast the project went, and how responsive Joel was with all of my requests and inquiries. Thank you so much!!!

NorCal Coast Constructions was prompt in responding to all and any questions we had. The team was professional and knowledgeable. We are pleased with the outcome and would recommend to others!

NorCal was fantastic. I have never had a better experience with a contractor working on my house. He replaced the plywood staiira (which were very quirky and odd) and he did a beautiful job in making a seamless run with the treads, risers, landing, and bull nose finish. He showed up consistently and on time. He was flexible, understanding, had a positive work presence., and finished in good time without cutting quality. He also finished up with a couple closets that were plywood.. A+ quality, work ethic, fairness, and craftsmanship.

I had Joel build a pergola for me & it turned out beautiful. He was highly professional & great with communication throughout the whole project, which is something that is very important to me. I would highly recommend him!
