This place is a total rip off. They came out to do a job to find the source of a vibration in a water pipe. Based on the information we gave them, it was quickly determined that there was an issue with one toilet. The repairman suggested that the toilet was old and that it might make sense to get a new one, but otherwise, he could replace the parts that needed replacement in the tank. In the end, he replaced the fill valve and the hose from the wall valve to the tank. He was here about 1 hour and charged $225 and there was no parts-labor break down in the invoice. My guess is the parts were less than $30 so the labor charge looks nuts. That was the minor thing. After he left, the toilet started flushing itself. It was clear that the flapper was leaking which means either the flapper was bad or where it sits was no good. Before I saw it, the plumber basically said he fixed the problem (the vibration) and now we really should get a new toilet after all as it was 50/50 I would find the correct flapper part. I explained that had he checked that part I would have never done the $225 repair and now I would be $225 + a new toilet worse off. While they did offer to install a new toilet a no additional charge, I new I could not trust them. He did volunteer to look for a new flapper part, but said it would be very hard to find and they would charge me more. When I got home, I looked at the flapper and touched it. It disintegrated in my fingers. So it was clear that this was the issue. I went to my local plumbing store and they guy said it was a common part, had it on the shelf, and $6 later I was on my way. I snapped in the new part and all was fine. These guys saw what they thought was an easy mark in my wife and sold her down the river and then did not take responsibility for their work. The flapper issue was not there before the guy came and he likely bumped into is while fixing the fill valve. Given it was in such terrible shape, a little knock would cause the seal to be not sound, which is what happened. I would have been fine with them replacing that from the git go, but fixing one problem and causing another, then not owning up to it is unacceptable in my book. I would NEVER go back to these scam artists.

Always a pleasure working with Allstate. The company I work for uses them for clogs and they always show up on time, prepared, and ready to tackle any issue. They are very professional and they’ve always fixed any issue we’ve had in a quick amount of time. Once they finish they always give a courtesy call to let us know they’ve finished up. Great job as well to the customer service line. If they ever don’t pick up, they are prompt to call me back. Great job to all at Allstate Plumbing and keep up the good work!

I will not recommend again to any one. The front desk is sloppy and not customer oriented. When delayed beyond 3 hrs, there was no follow-up from Andrea who is at the front desk. After 4 hours of delay and 8 phone calls, Angel the another front desk person, refuse to provide me connection to the owner for resolving of this issue.
(Andrea will not come on phone and shows that there is mismanagement and poor team work.) Note that there was no argument or abusive language on either side. Overall responsiveness to prescribed time commitment ahead of 24 hrs and updating of the new arrival time is none. Very irresponsible in project scheduling and follow-up with customer. Again, this is for a commercial job.

About 20 years ago, a friend of mine recommended Pacific Plumbing. Since them, I have been using Pacific Plumbing for all our plumbing work in our home. We have used them numerous times and have been very happy every time. We like them for two reasons: their competence and their honesty. First, they are competent. Their plumbers are very skilled and experienced. Their customer service is excellent. Second, they are honest. They do not try to gouge or sell unnecessary work. They use excellent parts. They do the work with integrity and skill. The business reflects the business owner who is an honest and competent person. For about 20 years, they have consistently been competent and honest.

Today, they replaced our water heater. Their customer service before the job was very responsive. Their price was very competitive. The plumber and his assistant arrived on time, worked meticulously, and cleaned after themselves. They did an outstanding job. They gave me a fixed price upfront, yet they replaced all the water and gas flex pipes, the gas valve, and the vent connection, for the same fixed price, which really impressed me.

I am delighted.

Muhammad came out same day. Nice guys. Leak was small and tricky to find but they were persistent. Knows what they're doing. Fixed the leak same day and gave us peace of mind. I recommend.
