Constraction reviews in Fresno, California

Dodson construction instills confidence-that they’ll show up on time, that the job site is left clean and orderly at the end of each work day, and that the final project is done to your complete satisfaction. An extraordinary company of individuals providing outstanding service. Highly recommended.

Your company was an absolute pleasure to work with! We would like to recognize Peter, Luis, Lisa, Miguel and Roger. You all were just the best! You all clearly took the job seriously, communicated with us at all times, and made us feel like family.....meaning you took care of our needs, our never ending questions, any concerns...and most importantly, our home. We cannot thank you enough for the quality of the work you have done and the wonderful friendships we have made. A great experience with lasting memories!

Dodson Builders has now completed two large remodeling projects on our 1940’s home. His team was reliable, responsive and timely in completion of both large projects. We are very pleased with the outcomes, and we plan to use them for another project in the near future.

Dodson Builders remodeled our guest bathroom. The bathroom had never been remodeled since the house was built in 1976. We had Dodson Builders do a gut job on it. Everything was replaced and the results are just as I had hoped they would be and our bathroom is absolutely beautiful.
Peter and his crew strive to make the customer happy and will do what it takes to reach that goal.

Dodson Builders took my blank canvas backyard and turned it into a designer oasis. They built a new oversized double car garage, unique fencing/gates, and designer outdoor kitchen. It looks amazing and is everything I hoped it would be, and they exceeded my expectations. They are wonderful to work with and finished on a very tight timeline that I had. I highly recommend them.

Dodson and his team of contractors and employees went above and beyond our expectation for my family. They were punctual , professional, and extremely thorough. We were very pleased and impressed with their eye of detail and professional demeanor in our home. We felt comfortable and at ease with them in our home when we present as well as away. I would highly recommend this company for your next remodel or upgrade. We look forward to working with them again soon!

Our experience with Dodson Construction was amazing!!! It began with Lisa, who really put this together with our very first phone call. She took the time and explained the process to someone who didn’t know anything about this. Just had a great conversation with her, and honestly didn’t feel like calling anyone else.

We met Peter and Annie soon after and they were just as amazing as well. After about 3/4 months, we finalized everything and then we met Max and his team. I have to say it!! They were amazing too!!

Max runs a team that is professional, courteous and love what they do. They provided us with feedback based on their knowledge about what they were doing. They also had several moments where they exceeded our expectations. Max and Peter looked after this project as if this was their own home.

Lisa’s follow ups during the project were great, we appreciated how much they valued our feedback. The project ended better than it began. We felt we got more than we purchased.

We hear bad stories about contractors and we are so happy that we found a team that we can count on and trust. This was supposed to be a one project thing for us, but are already working with them on more ideas.

Lisa, Annie, David, Max, Luis, Francisco, Matt, Max Jr and Peter! You are an amazing group!! Thank you

Dodson Builders has my utmost recommendation: from planning to execution, the entire process was professional and enjoyable. They listened to my wants and needs, and implemented each need with the perfect touch of functionality and personality. The owner, Peter, and Mike were extremely communicative and I always knew what was going on and what to expect. Luiz was like a house guest when in my home working, curious and friendly. They sought out new lighting alternatives that would best fit my needs as a visually impaired man, and went the extra mile to make sure all my needs were met. They were always timely, and my and daughter and I felt completely comfortable having them here working. I highly recommend.

Dodson Builders did an amazing job repairing our cabinets from a kitchen remodel done by the previous owners. They communicated every step of the way making sure we were very satisfied with the work being done. They are extremely thorough from start to finish.

They made sure every detail was done to the highest standard and even went above and beyond to make sure the cabinets looked perfect.

If you are looking for someone that is honest and trustworthy that will pay attention to even the small details then you have to look no further than Dodson Builders.

I hired Dodson Builders Construction to install a cabinet door, some shelves, and Can LED lighting in my home and what professionalism. Not only did they do an excellent job but kept you informed along the way. Peter Dodson, the owner would come before, during, and after to make sure the job is done to excellence. He wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied with the job his employees have done and to answer any questions I may have. Peter Dodson also would respond to emails and voice calls promptly. His right hand man, Mike was on top of it as well. This company has integrity. I will be using them in the future for any of my home remodeling or upgrades that I may have. Thank You for a job well done.

Peter and his team responded to our needs and questions promptly and with knowledge. Before the start of the project, Peter listen to our suggestions and asked detail questions to insure we got exactly what we envisioned. At the start of the project we met Mike, always smiling and double checking each detail. The communication was clear and often. Lisa M. was a pleasure to work with as well. She was able to assist with decision making. Occasionally a mistake can occur with a remodel job and Dodson construction did not hesitate to address the situation. The Dodson team made sure all aspects of the job were completed to our satisfaction. Overall the project was completed in the expected time frame. Quality was addressed as each stage of the project. Our new master bathroom is beautiful and exactly what we expected!
A remodel can be exciting and very stressful, there are a lot of details and decisions to make. Dodson Construction was able to make the process less stressful and enjoyable. Their experience was key! We are very happy with the end result and love our new bathroom. Thank You Dodson Constuction!

Our family just completed an extensive kitchen remodel with Dodson Builders Construction. What a great experience we had with this company from the first phone call to their office to our completed kitchen. What makes this company unique is their in-house designers and contractors that work with you from start to finish....they brought good ideas to the table and were great listeners. The entire company is professional, friendly and bring a positive attitude into your home. We cannot recommend them enough, our kitchen turned out beautiful. Thank You Dodson Construction.

What started out as updating our kitchen turned into a whole house remodel. We basically took the inside of the house down to bare walls. We really liked the design process. Once the design was done, we met with our designer once a week to pick things out. One time it might be appliances and the next might be flooring. Because of the scope of the project, it took about 6 months from start of design to start of construction. It was nice not to be rushed and overwhelmed by the decisions that had to be made. Dodson accommodated our wish to stay in the house during the remodel. They split the process into two phases by doing half the house at a time while we lived in the other half. All the people who came into the house were nice and courteous and cleaned up at the end of the day. There were problems and one was major in my opinion but when pointed out were corrected. We are extremely satisfied with the results.

Dodson Builders did a great job removing a gas fireplace and living room upgrades to include electrical and paint..Done on time and as promised.

We loved working with Dodson. After being ghosted by several other contractors, we were thrilled to find someone who actually made and kept appointments. They were so easy to communicate with and they worked around all of our weird requests (we wanted to do a lot of the finish work ourselves). Peter, the owner, came out personally multiple times to check on progress, answer any questions, and make sure we were completely happy. Lisa, the project manager, is so on top of everything and we always felt like she was working hard for us. And Luis, the head carpenter, was so fun to work with. He got everything done two weeks early while still feeling like part of the family. Our project was a part remodel and part addition of a master bathroom and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the work that was done.

We recently had our kitchen and family room remodeled by Dodson Builders Construction. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. From the first meeting with Peter, we knew clearly what to expect. David and Shelbi guided us through the design phase with their expertise but also taking into consideration of our likes and dislikes to make the vision of our new space into reality. The crew members were wonderful and considerate, always willing to answer our questions. Norman kept us updated everyday of the project progress. He always responded promptly to our questions. Lisa was in frequent contact with us to see if we had any concern. Peter and his team made what could have been a stressful project a smooth experience. We would highly recommend Peter and his team.

I used Dodson Builders for upgrades in my condo including a kitchen remodel and new flooring throughout the condo. I was extremely pleased with all the work that was completed. Communication with Peter was excellent with every step and timelines were met. I would definitely recommend Dodson Builders to anyone who is looking for quality work in a remodel.

Let me just start off by saying that we met with several other contractors before we started our project. Those other contractors did not leave us with a good sense that they would be able to complete our project to the level of our expectations. Cheap work is not quality and quality work is not cheap. Peter and the rest of the Dodson team are top quality in every aspect of the construction industry. From planning and design, all through the construction phase, and even now, Peter and his team took great care of us and our home. I am extremely happy with the quality of work that was done and the trust that was built during the process is unwavering. If we had any questions or concerns, Norman and Lisa were there to answer our call. Peter and his team went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. Thank you Peter and the rest of the Dodson team! If you are thinking of a remodel or have a project the need done and you want a quality end product, I highly encourage you to give Peter a call! Pictures are on the Dodson website in the gallery under kitchen projects.

I have had a vey good first impression. Peter Dodson was very professional and efficient. After he installed the garbage disposal he cleaned up very well. He also answered many questions I had on future home improvements and potential costs. Peter was very knowledgeable, professional, and sincere. I would highly recommend Dodson Builders for your home needs. Thanks Peter!

Working with Dodson Construction was an amazing experience! They did a Master Bathroom remodel/makeover for us. From start to finish they provided great communication, were always very professional and respectful of our home and family needs. The job was completed on time and they stayed in the agreed budget. Having a designer on their team to help with ideas and work with me on what I envisioned was exactly what I needed with my busy schedule. I highly recommend Dodson Builders and will work with them in the future for any big home projects!

Peter and his team at Dodson construction did a great job for us on the remodel of our downstairs living room. We had them build and install a new fireplace and tiled hearth, and professionally paint our cabinets white and stain our floating shelves as well.

We chose Dodson because of their reputation in the market and also because it was extremely important for us to get the “white cabinet” part right, have it looking smooth and professional, instead of hokey and obviously not cohesive which is unfortunately very easy to do when you want to paint cabinets white. We were not disappointed – the results were excellent. The professionals who work with Dodson built a lovely fireplace, the tile was excellent, and they managed the project well from start to finish. From the samples provided to discussion of timelines, and most importantly quick resolution of the issues that cropped up along the way, we were well pleased with their services and the project came out fantastically. Along with the upgrade in lifestyle that this project has been for our daily living, we know we added a ton of value to our home as well.

We want to thank Dodson construction for a job well done and strongly recommend that you call them if you are looking for a home remodel.
