RCIS Home Inspections

I had the pleasure of working with Rich of RCIS Home Inspections! Here are all the positives: he took the time to truly inspect my home, answer my questions, advise on how to remediate, and all while talking to me with respect and humor. He made sure his explanations were in a way that I can understand since I don't speak the construction language. I think Rich is well informed, professional, and values his clients. Working with him is a win/win situation.

While the inspector was personable, I ultimately left the inspection feeling concerned that important aspects of the process were minimized rather than thoroughly addressed. Instead of maintaining a neutral and objective approach focused on protecting the buyer’s interests, the experience often felt more like the inspector was trying to sell us on the home.

I also found it unprofessional that, while standing in the seller’s home and on camera, the inspector repeatedly emphasized what a “great home” it was rather than focusing on providing clear, unbiased information about potential concerns and maintenance issues. A home inspection should help buyers make informed decisions, and I expected a more balanced and objective assessment throughout the process.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Rich Christoffersen from RCIS Home Inspections, and I couldn't be more impressed. Rich was incredibly thorough and detailed throughout the entire inspection. He took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure we understood each finding and what it meant for the home. His professionalism and knowledge gave us full confidence in the inspection process.
We highly recommend RCIS for anyone looking for a knowledge and thorough inspection.
