Worked with him on a design/ plans for a Medium/smallish backyard for a new build. He is super easy to work with, very responsive with his communication. Helped me find a builder. His communication and Timeliness Was appreciated.

His approach was customized to our specific wants and he had no issues making updates throughout the process. He made great suggestions and brought our backyard dreams to life. Josh really listened to us and then applied his wealth of knowledge and experience to create a cohesive and beautiful design. The design service and experience is top notch. He has even connected us with a contractor to complete the job and is working with him throughout the next steps. I have so many great things to say about Josh (head of Stangby designs) and our experience with him! First off when we met for a consultation he listened to our needs and budget and right off the bat he guided us and provided us such great information that made us feel comfortable that he knows his stuff and options to stay within budget. When we received the initial design for the backyard, it was absolutely beautiful but we wanted to optimize some items like the pool space and open play area. Josh created multiple design variations so we can visualize it better and for us to make an informed decision on our investment. And the process has been very fun. Yes we go back and forth but Josh is great because he listens to our needs but also provides us with meaningful design tips (and county restrictions) so it feels like more of a design team instead of us dictating everything or him pushing ideas. I really love and appreciate his knowledge and collaboration so it’s made the process extremely enjoyable. Not only has the design component been great, but Josh’s vendors to complete the project have also been great people to bounce ideas off of. Josh joined us with each vendor and provided all the support we needed during the design phase of planning. Upon writing this review, our backyard hasn’t been completed yet but we are really excited to see the end result and frankly I don’t think we could have done something this beautiful without Stangby designs. I fully recommend them 100%. I promise you can’t go wrong!

We had a great experience with Stangby Designs! Joshua had great communication, our plans came out so beautifully, and he helped change any portions of the design to better fit what we were looking for. I would recommend them to anyone who asks! The contractor we used that he recommended was also amazing. I couldn't asked for a better experience and will be called him when its time to redo my front yard!

We called for an estimate for a complete yard cleanup. Jose came out that afternoon and we agreed on a fair price. He said they’d get it done by Saturday. This was on Wednesday evening. The next morning a crew showed up and worked like crazy nonstop. The transformation was AMAZING! A very well run and professional business from start to finish. I highly recommend them!

We just finished a complete renovation of our front and back yards with Jose and his team at The Landscaping Masters. The new landscaping is beautiful (day and night) and the entire project was enjoyable, stress free and completed quickly. Everyone in the company was professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

When my wife and I first met with Jose, he stated his business philosophy in simple terms; all work is performed to the highest quality and our complete satisfaction was the end goal. I am happy to say that both items were attained!

To us, the hardest thing about our project was being able to describe our final vision, and Jose is exceptional in his ability to understand what you want (even when you can’t put it into the right words) and create it for you. He also provides ideas and advice to make your end result even more than you expected. We were considered an integral part of the “team” and our input was sought for every step of the project.

All work is performed by his team: demo, hardscape, custom gates and other metal work, fencing, lighting… everything is done in house and the craftsmanship is impeccable. They hand built an incredibly beautiful pergola for us using custom-milled cedar and everyone who has seen it says “Wow”!

In conclusion, I highly recommend The Landscaping Masters for any landscaping needs you may have.

The Landscape Masters helped design our backyard after we put in a pool. They are knowledgeable and professional. They have since done our weekly maintenance and our yard, front and back, have never looked better.

Landscape Masters has been servicing my yard for many years and they have always done a great job. They also go the extra step if a sprinkler is broken or needs adjusting or a plant needs replanting, etc. highly recommend them.

They are friendly, very professional, they arrived when they said they would. They worked well as a team and the landscaping turned out better then I could have imagined.

I have used this company for years as a home landscaping maintenance company, and now for several years as a subcontractor at my business, and they are very professional, reasonable priced, licenced by the state contractor's license board as well as the department of industrial relations, and they always stand behind their work.

Dependable, honest, and hard working professionals. From start to finish the quality of service was impressive and we're extremely happy with results.

Bad attitude.... poor customer service

I called jose and got an appt to meet with him at his office and to drop off my landscape plan .. I drove 25 min and after I got there I WAS TOLD THAT he is not available right now..

Honestly I don't know how these ppl stay in business with such nasty customer service..

Stay away .. unless u like to be humiliated...
