I felt like Roy’s estimate for replacing my lawn was the only honest estimate I received. Prior to hiring Roy’s team, I got several estimates on replacing my lawn, I knew my irrigation was not adequate, Roy was the only one that pointed that out, he even went so far as saying he wouldn’t do the lawn unless we address the irrigation issues. Roy’s team was very professional, his communication and overall knowledge was great, they completed the job in a reasonable amount of time and now my lawn looks great.

We had a fantastic experience working with Roy and his team at Lawn Master OC! From the beginning, Roy was incredibly communicative and on top of everything—he made the whole process easy and stress-free. He helped us choose a beautiful variety of plants for our backyard (including some amazing cactus!) and gave great input and ideas along the way.

Vargas has been doing all my trees for over 10 years and no one does a better job. The fruit trees bear wonderfully every year and the eucalyptus and mella luca are in great shape. Could not ask for better work.

We have 2 tall pine trees, Limber Pine and Carnary Island Pine, a tall Deodar Cedar, 2 medium Black Pines. All were over due for trimming. We only hire certified Arborist to trim these trees. Other companies who gave us quotes wanted to trim this summer. Vargas would trim them late Dec early Jan. Ishmael, the owner, being a Aborist knew this . His crew was here on time for two days. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves daily. They did a 5 star trim on my trees. The best ever. I highly recommend Vargas Landscaping and maintenance. Ishmal knows what he is doing. We’ve had PCL do several projects large and small on our large residential property. Dave and PCL are definitely our favorite contractors to work with out of the dozens we’ve hired on various projects inside and out. Dave is professional, honest, creative, and always provides a detailed and complete estimate up front. At first blush it may appear a bit more expensive than others, but we’ve learned the hard way that this is because Dave’s estimate is thorough and avoids the costly surprises that other contractors don’t include (intentionally or otherwise) until you’re committed mid project. The PCL crew is knowledgeable, hard working, considerate, and clean. The customer service is great and you will not regret the end result. Money well spent every time, and a great value given the level of service provided. With PCL you don’t need to micro manage the work, and that peace of mind is priceless. I’d even go so far to say that over the years Dave has become a family friend and we look forward to working with him and his crew more in the future!

I’ve never used a landscaping company before and was expecting a consultation and and advice on planting California native plants. I was given several sheets of plant choices with no indication of which were ca natives or not and had to do my own research on that. They did not and apparently could not find the plants I wanted so instead they gave me lavender, rosemary, and a salvia that was completely inappropriate for the space it was planted in as it grew huge and blocked the view of our center fountain. The work was relegated to the gardeners and I never saw or spoke to David after the initial conversation.
Would absolutely not recommend this company and we have had to redo almost all of the landscaping we paid for.
