Just have a solar system with 31 panels and a 10 kWh Enphase backup battery installed a couple weeks ago. The whole process was smooth. My rep Kevin Taing has been super helpful - he went above and beyond to keep me updated along the process. I highly recommend Solar Optimum and Kevin Taing!

Solar optimum is an excellent company to work with at every level. Beginning with the sales person who is extremely knowledgeable and explained all of the equipment in detail as well as the benefit their state of the art equipment will provide to your home. The lending partner for solar optimum is also super easy to deal with and they made the lending experience both fast and smooth. It was an absolutely no stress transaction. The installation team are an experienced group of Master technicians who installed the equipment in 2 days and made sure that the system was working properly before they turned it over to me. All in all I rate solar optimum a 10 for sales, financing and service and highly recommend them because of their fair prices and excellent service.

It took me 3 months to research and evaluate Solar Companies before I came across Solar Optimum. It was not so much about lowest price wins the deal but actually the technology behind it. So I probably had 3 to 5 estimates with the top installers in my local area of Long Beach and 2 from Los Angeles area. So I met with Eric from Solar Optimum and what really blew me away was that he offered a product that just came out that month I had my Solar installed, other competition still were processing it and were not available. Lastly another thing that stand out was that their warranty was pretty intensive up to 25 years while the competition only wants to do it for 10 years.
Installation had no hiccups. Another key factor in any installation is communication. Updating or telling the installer your concerns in advance helps the process. Eric guided me with the process clearly. The city inspection was smooth and no issues. I had an upgraded 200 amp panel too in the process since my panel was 100 amp. The installation was very clean not only in the roof but my main panel area. I also had stucco work done because of my newer panel, but they also have a masonry specialist to clean up any work after. He even match my wall paint after the stucco repair.

I’ve had panels and batteries installed five years apart, and Solar Optimum has had great service, from choosing and designing products to final installation. Prices have been very competitive, too, and they give a discount for returning customers. They had to deal with the slow city planning department and ridiculous roadblocks from PGE, but they communicated with me and got the job done. I had to follow up sometimes with emails/calls but they were quick to reply. Great company and folks working for them.

As a returning customer purchasing a Powerwall, I’ve been very impressed with Davie Wong’s support throughout the process. He has been proactive, responsive, and thorough in answering all my questions, which has helped keep everything on track. Looking forward to the installation!

Spoke with Andrew at Solar Optimum for a quote on Enphase battery backup. It was nice to get a call back same day with all inclusive pricing. Andrew was knowledgeable and good to speak with. Pricing is still a bit high for this tech compared to DIY solutions but perhaps in the future it will fit into more household budgets.

Ultimately, we had white glove service with Solar Optimum. Shout out to Joe in sales who helped us make the decision between the three bids we gathered. He's a great front man for the organization. Initially, we had a bit of a glitch with their paperwork & their system and moving through it. We solicited the assistance of Gerson Rodriquez, Administration Manager, in the corporate office and within a matter of minutes he addressed every issue we were having. He is detail oriented and does exactly what he says he's going to do. He brought along Mohi Shahsavari, Director of Operations. Mohi is another power source for the company (no pun intended) 😉 We got daily updates to make the corrections, and then he moved us forward quickly to completion. We also had the pleasure of connecting with Jessica Reyes, Customer Service Rep, who walked through the final steps with us. When you take on a solar project, it's an expensive proposition; and there's a lot of moving parts. Honestly, we would never want to tackle it again without having this amazing team by our sides. There will be hiccups, and there will be delays. You are working with a number of organizations including City permitting & your electric company. There's a number of steps along the way. But we were guided skillfully and had an amazing end result. Their connections throughout the industry were stellar, and their guidance helped us understand the next step of each phase of the process. I will always keep this team in mind for anyone who is asking for a reference for the BEST Solar Company around. They have quite a history, and they continue to live up to their reputation. Awesome experience, so glad everything worked out as well as I could have imagined. It’s a scary feeling trying to choose a solar company but the professionals at Solar Optimum were very helpful. There is a ton of things that happen with the city, hoa, which seemed to have conflicts constantly but we were able to coordinate with each other smoothly. Not only did the team at Solar Optimum help me with solar panels on my roof but also installation of a level 2 tesla charger in my garage. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and always available if I had questions or concerns.
