My Sales rep Mike Was very easy to work with and laid out the pricing very clearly. I actually wanted more than they initially proposed so they don’t oversell you on panels. I just got my solar turned on by them and it’s been great so far. They were fast and very communicative during the new roofing and solar install. Would recommend them to anyone for both solar and roof repairs.

I was very satisfied with the service and finished product of my solar roof panels. It seems like they have separate departments for all aspects of the complex procedure, and mine was even more so since I wanted a new roof, so we started with that which they helped me with. Having separate people handle the different steps such as engineering, billing, etc means you dealt with a specialist.
My only complaint was the invoices which seemed to lack critical information such as Description of work done. I notified them about this, hopefully their invoices now look more professional. I would definitely use Solar Optimum again, my only warning is that the process may take several months, which, admittedly, I was told; this is due to the time needed to get the various permits.

My experience with Solar Optimum has been outstanding. The energy consultant, Kevin, was straightforward and honest about solar installation, its capabilities and promptly answered all the questions I had about solar power. He also provided me with a brochure regarding solar in the state of CA that gave me more insight about solar as well as my rights as a homeowner seeking to install solar panels in the state.

After speaking with four different solar installation companies, Solar Optimum was the most attentive, professional and did were not pushy on the sale of their product.

They whole process from the signing the contract to getting permission to operate was to take 8 to 12 weeks according to the company rep, I think it took all to get done less than five weeks. I like that I was kept informed about each phase and milestone, really stress free.

My experience with solar optimum and solar panel installation has been a positive one so far and I would definitely recommend this company to future customers seeking to reap the benefits of solar power.

What an absolutely superb experience with Solar Optimum from start to finish!

I was referred to Solar Optimum by a close friend who had a great experience with their roofing and solar + battery installation and now I completely understand why. From my very first call with Tom, their representative, I was blown away by his professionalism, sincerity, and deep knowledge. I’ve dealt with many contractors over the years, but Tom’s clear and honest explanations of the process and how I could truly save money with solar and battery storage were a breath of fresh air.

After getting five different quotes, Solar Optimum offered the best combination of pricing, product quality, and professionalism. With the strong referral from my friend and all their outstanding online reviews, choosing them was an easy decision. I signed up for a new GAF composition shingle roof with the GAF Golden Pledge Lifetime Warranty, 24 Mission Solar panels, and a Tesla Powerwall 3.

The very next day, Sonia called to schedule my site survey — she was warm, professional, and explained exactly what to expect. The survey technician was courteous, on time, and respectful of my property. Within three days, my project plans were finalized!

Then Hannah from their project management reached out and walked me through some design adjustments to better locate the battery on the north side of my home. She made sure every detail was handled perfectly. Solar Optimum submitted for the permit, and incredibly the permit was approved in just one day!

Carlos from their roofing department called immediately to confirm my roof installation date. He was knowledgeable and kept me informed the entire time. The roofing crew began work the following Monday and wrapped up by Friday. They showed up early every morning, kept the property spotless, and were respectful and professional throughout. Jason called to review some necessary lumber replacements and answered all my questions with the kind of expertise that only comes from years of experience.

Once the roof was complete, Orbel reached out to schedule my solar and battery installation his enthusiasm was contagious! Rafi and his crew arrived on time, explained the entire process, maintained excellent communication, and made safety a top priority.

I can’t say enough about the quality of their installation — the panels are perfectly aligned, and the conduit is neatly run and painted to match the house. Everything looks amazing! The installation only took two days, and Rafi made sure I understood exactly how the system works before wrapping up.

Afterward, Solar Optimum sent me clear instructions to set up my Tesla and Enphase monitoring apps and even helped walk me through the next steps with Southern California Edison (SCE). Despite being told the utility process could take six weeks or more, SCE completed everything in just a couple of weeks, and I received Permission to Operate (PTO) in under 60 days from signing! That includes roofing installation.

Every single person I worked with from sales to project management to installation was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about delivering a great experience.

Had a great experience speaking with Energy consultant Andrew Felix. I was surprised by how quick and efficient the whole process was. I received a well laid out solar system plan perfect for my size home, and electrical usage. The pricing was very competitive, honest and straight forward. I really assumed getting solar would have been much more confusing and complex. If you are thinking about solar ask for Andrew Felix, fast, efficient and zero games… save yourself the time of shopping around and multiple quotes, too many companies out there with confusion pricing. This agent and company will give you the bottom line best deal right upfront!

Great company with a great product and team. Communication is a bit slow (I am sure they are quite busy with the tax credit ending this year). I am in the process now due to a referral from a trusted friend. I recommend the company considers providing a point person/project manager because they have different departments for each stage. The general emails that provide updates are helpful but tend to lack detail for my particular situation so a live person that is easier to reach would be ideal.

12/3/25 Very happy with our system so far. It's been up and running trouble free for 2 months.
Solar Optimum does sub contract the installations, at least here in the Las Vegas Valley, but the people they used did a good job.
I highly recommend.

I wanted to take a moment to give a huge thank you to Landon and his amazing team (Herbert and Orbel). Even though I had submitted an SDGE interconnection application two years ago, they worked with me as if I was apart of the team. Landon was so professional and easygoing that even when I felt stressed about a last minute decision or change, he was always willing to update my drawing, or help change my electric panel with the one that the electrician was suggesting, etc. Customer service and the quality of the products was amazing. The install from Trent (electrician) and his team was the best. They beat my expectations on the overall experience, quality, speed of service and price.

I chose Solar Optimum because their initial proposal guaranteed that the solar system they designed would generate enough energy to power my home. I specifically asked if the system would produce the full 11 kilowatts they quoted, and I was told it was guaranteed. Based on that assurance, I paid a $1,000 deposit.

After taking the deposit, Solar Optimum revised the design from 26 panels to only six because of roof space for panels. The new system would produce only a fraction of what was originally promised, which made the project financially unreasonable for me to continue.

I requested a refund of my deposit, but instead of honoring the guarantee, Solar Optimum initially refused, then said they would only return half of my deposit. I have repeatedly reached out, and I still have not received any refund or any meaningful follow up.

My experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I hope Solar Optimum does the right thing and resolves this, but until that happens, I cannot recommend them.

I talked to at least five other solar companies before deciding on Solar Optimum.
Omaha Segura however, convinced me that they were best qualified to complete the project the way I wanted it and they certainly did. The planning and the sign-offs all went quickly and efficiently, the installers were there within a week of the permit being issued. I highly recommend solar optimum to anyone who wants a solar project done efficiently and cost-effectively.

After years of research the market and consideration of installing solar system, we was referred by friend to Solar Optimum.
We talked and worked with Brandon Chavez. His knowledge and quick respond to all our questions honestly. The process was very quick, from signed the documents to granted the PTO only take 1 month 12/3/24-1/1/25. We are happy with the customer service provided by Brandon and the installed system. The only issue we have is the process or referral $ to my friend take so long. However, I still I recommend Solar Optimum.

We recently installed solar panels with Solar Optimum Glendale and were very happy with the service we got. Solar Optimum handled design, installation, and permits. They were responsive to our inquiries, special thanks here to Pablo our energy consultant, and professional in their execution. Going from initial proposal to PTO went much faster than we were anticipating, especially given the crunch of the solar credits ending - an additional shoutout to LADBS and LADWP who were likewise incredibly efficient and helpful during this entire process. I was very impressed all around.

Solar Optimum is amazing. We wanted to do solar for our house but needed to do our roof as well and Solar Optimum handled both. It was a competitive price but the most important part is that we didn't sacrifice service. Carlos Leon was our coordinator throughout the project and although he primarily worked on the roof side, he did it all. He was responsive, caring and made the process so much better. Great experience from beginning to end. At first, consultation, I asked for tons of info, they provided estimates and detailed layout plans with options. I went back and forth until we settled with design I wanted. Finally chose layout adequate for my home. Install was super neat and professional and timely. In the end I got everything I wanted, and more, my whole electrical I can check on app. Just super satisfied. They dealt with all inspections, permitting.

Solar Optimum did an excellent job delivering my Solar PV system! The schedule was tight to obtain the tax credit and the NEM2 reservation that I already had. Brandon Chavez jumped through hoops to make this happen on time! The permit drawings were developed quickly and accurately. The installation crew installed the entire system on my roof in about 4 hours and did a beautiful job including painting any exposed conduits to match the house. The City Building Inspector is familiar with Solar Optimum and their quality work and easily signed off the permit. Their pricing was considerably lower than almost every quote that I received. I highly recommend Brandon and Solar Optimum!

I had great experience with Solar Optimum. From beginning to the end they have been very helpful. The sales team, the installer, and the support team were all helpful through the installation. For me it was a turn key project. They have done all engineering drawing, submitted to the city, got the permit, and most importantly they were the key contact with PGE. Solar Optimum applied the SGIP application for me with PG&E and continuously followed up with PG&E. After completing the project and getting the solar system activated Solar Optimum SGIP team continued on interfacing with PG&E for about a year and got my SGIP application approved successfully. I strongly recommend Solar Optimum, they got the experience and they are very supportive.
