Landscaping reviews in Glendale, California

Great to work with. Kevin is very knowledgeable and helpful. Their work was all high quality.

Kevin is very professional, kind and knowledgeable about all aspects of landscape and gardens. I had some followup questions and he was very responsive and helpful.

My front yard needed a new look and new irrigation. Kevin installed a new drip irrigation system and a variety of Lavender & Rosemary plants. The Lavendar has really grown. Thanks Kevin.

Kevin is incredible. He landscaped our very steep hill above a retaining wall and installed netting and a drip system. He also did the yards and tree work for three of our neighbors and we have all recommended him to everyone we know.

Arborist Kevin Altar & his team were spectacular! After a thorough assessment of the flora in my yard, I was given counsel on pruning & managing the giant oaks, fruit trees & other plants we are responsible for & cherish. The estimates for the work reflected our conversations & included Kevin Altar’s expertise. We believed it was a value to contract with Golden West Landscaping. So we did! We were scheduled within 2 weeks. The crew arrived early, assessed the space & began preparing. The work was done timely, and professionally in less than 5 hours.
Everything was cleaned up & all branches, leaves etc were hauled away.

Kevin Altar was communicative, thorough, professional & very easy with whom to work.

I highly recommend Kevin Altar & Golden West Landscaping Consultants..

We hired Roy Altaras Landscape Design to reimagine our front yard. We gave him only basic ideas about our likes and dislikes and he transformed the space beyond our expectations into a lovely and welcoming garden. Roy Altaras Landscape Design is a small business with impressive resources. Roy himself is a talented craftsman who is also very professional and pleasant to interact with. We were impressed with his expertise in horticulture and its application to his design, his enthusiasm for the work, and his patience to get things “just right”. His team, that he has cultivated over the years includes experts in masonry, irrigation, masonry, lighting as well as landscape. They worked together seamlessly. Every single member had an impeccable work ethic. Kyle and Israel were absolute gems. In sum, Roy and his team did exactly what they promised to do when they said it would be done. We congratulate ourselves for selecting Roy for the work. We’d do it all again without hesitation.

Roy did a fantastic job transforming my patio into a beautiful living space. Roy immediately had several ideas, worked within my budget, and executed his design very quickly. The finished design created a lush space with multiple colors and textures that will change throughout the year. I really appreciated the time Roy took to explain how I can care for the landscaping, and he provided detailed, written watering instructions. I have wanted to do something to my patio for years, and I am so glad I found Roy. I couldn't be happier with the results!

Roy was outstanding. Always on time and completed on time and professionally done. Made several trips to get everything correct. End result is we have a really great looking back yard. Would recommend him for great ideas & design.

Roy transformed our uninviting front and side yards into a lush paradise in a matter of weeks. The amount of care and thoughtfulness that he put into this work from our initial discussions, to the design phase, to plant/materials selection, to planting, to followup is unparalleled among all contractors I've ever worked with. That dedication combined with his horticultural expertise and keen eye for design led to us work with him again on two additional projects, both of which turned out better than we had ever imagined. And to top it off -- he's extremely professional, humble, and kind. I couldn't recommend him highly enough.

Roy transformed the front of our house from a depressing eyesore, into an absolutely stunning landscape. We couldn’t be happier. Having lived with his work now for several months, it’s very clear that Roy is a master of his craft. Our garden is thriving, and the space seems to have become even more inviting.

Roy and his team work extremely fast, we couldn’t believe how efficiently our yard was transformed. Always punctual, professional and thorough, he collaborated, and adapted to my ideas. He perfectly captured exactly what it is I didn’t know how to express. He worked witin the confines of our budget and I’m amazed at how much he was able to achieve.

So, yes, 5 stars for Roy. Very very happy.
