I have a bathroom sink that's connected to an overflow for condensation in our HVAC system. Which means, if the sink gets backed up for any reason, the condensation overflow also backs up and water starts dripping from a nearby ceiling. So suffice to say, I really need this particular sink to flow properly! I've used a number of other plumbers and rooter services over the years to keep the sink clear. The last time another company came out, the drip from the ceiling started again only two months later! I was extremely annoyed because they clearly had not done the job properly. I called Gary, hoping he could come out the same day because we were entertaining that evening and we needed to run the AC, which of course we always turn off once the drip starts. Gary responded to my call immediately and came to the house within a few hours. He snaked the sink, but after listening to my story of what had happened, decided to take the entire pipe out from under the sink and inspect it. He found there was heavy build-up along the inside of the pipe, which was definitely contributing to the problem. He took the pipe out to his truck where he meticulously cleaned it. I love it when a service person LISTENS to you and goes above and beyond to really solve the problem - not just goes through the motions! Gary is smart, honest, fast, reliable and a creative problem solver - not to mention he charges a reasonable rate. I think I have found my forever rooter man! Thank you Gary!!

Maybe I got lucky but they came in less than an hour, Zareh and Armond were polite and professional. They got down to business with a camera. Cleared my clog with the camera but recommended a rooter which I agreed to. Very fair price. Will be using again. Thank you!

This is the third time I’ve used Gary. The first time, I was a new homeowner and he cleared out our drain to the street where our giant weeping willow had encroached on the line. Fast forward 5 years and we did a remodel on the house and had our first issue with the toilets not flushing and gargling sounds. He came out in a jiffy and helped. Unfortunately we didn’t realize we needed a new clean out because our contractor failed to add one when he built the house addition on top of what we had. So Gary was able to do that work at a very reasonable cost and took care of clearing out the pipes. And then last night, he answered the call almost immediately and we scheduled his service the following morning. His Hydrojet through the pipes cleared everything and we were back in business. I have never truly trusted anyone like I do Gary.

Gary and his team were fantastic! They finished my job even quicker than estimated and took the time to show me the entire cleaning process, which I really appreciated. Their pricing was very fair and affordable, but what stood out the most was their excellent customer service. Overall, I felt I got an amazing deal and couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Most honest plumber I’ve ever meet! Normally when you call a plumber it’s always for an emergency. That’s when most plumbers take advantage and up charge you because you are in need of urgent repairs, but not Gary. His price so fair and reasonable that I insisted he charge me more especially when his competitors were quoting more than double. Not only that he came through when it was already late in the day to help resolve our clog main line by water jetting through the roots that was obstructing it. Even after clearing roots out of the pipe, he didn’t rush out but stayed to inspect other sections of our pipe and found other areas new roots was growing through. He’d water jetted the other separate section as well and didn’t charge double like most plumber would have but stayed true to his original price quote. Very honest and kind person. Would definitely use Gary again!

Gary's company was a lifesaver!!! We had an unfortunate plumbing issue happen in our yard a few days ago and Gary showed up within 90 minutes! He hydro jetted our pipes and we were good to go. He cleaned the sewer line immediately. A year later I called him and we scheduled the major sewer line replacement. They were fast and clean in their work. Gary hydro-jetted my main sewer line, and was able to remove tree roots that other rooter company had failed to do. He was very professional, and showed me on the video screen the condition of the pipe, from the clean out, all the way to the city sewer line. I can see he is very proud of his equipment and his skills. I am very satisfied.

Gary's is absolutely AMAZING!!! He came out same day to fix a root problem in my pipes, that many, many plumbers are not equipped to handle and in less than 45 minutes, he cleared my pipes! The water now drains flawlessly.I I was worried because before Gary arrived, when I flushed my toilet, it went down slowly AND it backed up into my bathtub. Yuck! But, Gary came out and saved the day. Me and my wife can sleep well tonight knowing Gary fixed our plumbing. Gary also has very good prices and he also goes above and beyond to help you financially. He took a video of my pipes where the roots has breached and put it on a thumb drive. He included a video of my utility bill that also had my name. I'm going to take that to the city and they are going to use that to pay for part of this repair!!! So, Gary also helps save you money. Plus, Gary is very pleasant and has a charming sense of humor. Gary is very honest and does a great job, very professional. Another company told me I had to replace my pipes for $ 11,000.00. I called Gary for a second opinion and he said it sounded like someone was trying to get rich. He cleaned the pipes and showed me they didn’t need to be replaced. I highly recommend him and his crew.

Gary and his team save me from paying $8500 to another company to line my sewer pipe. The other company told me that my pipe was broken due to roots. I called Gary and he immediately told me it was BS. He came out to investigate and completed the hydrojet service. He could've easily offered a lower price to line the pipes but he gave me solid advice. He didn't sale me work that I didn't need and for that I recommend Gary service.

Needed routine cleaning out of nasty roots in the main sewer line. Saw the great reviews on Yelp. Professional, friendly, and thorough. Shows camera before and after clean out. Cost is good. Won't disappoint. Call Gary's Rooter before anyone else. Gary and his team does business the old way. He earns it. Many say it but do not.

My first service with Gary was back in 2014 just a year after I bought my home in South Pasadena. This was after trying a couple other plumbers and getting the fast talk and no resolutions. My plumbing kept backing up because of the beautiful giant Magnolia trees in our neighborhood and it was such a headache.

Then I found Gary and he’s helped me hydrojet the roots away. We installed a cleanout in the driveway a few years later which has been great for servicing. Gary has always been out either the day I call or within a few days. After this latest series of storms the pipes backed up again and it was bad….I called Gary out again and he came the same day and cleared all the roots out.

Now I can go scrub the shower downstairs that was the victim of the backed up drain and start a new.

Unfortunately to have these beautiful giant trees in South Pasadena means we have horrible root growth problems in the drains. Call Gary and he’ll make the headache better. I don’t usually write reviews bc I’ve had my share of mediocre experiences but I have had great response and resolutions with Gary’s company.

TL;DR: Gary’s is excellent. Highly recommend.

We had an issue with our main plumbing line and found Gary’s through Google. Their quote was great, and they were able to come out within a couple of hours. They quickly fixed the issue, then backed their work with a six-month guarantee. Gary specifically told us to call him if the problem returned so he could come back and take care of it at no charge.

Both technicians were professional, friendly, and left the area clean when they were finished.
