we had a problem with our chimney and called for help. mason came out quickly, within a couple days. he took a good look at the chimney, checked everything over, and told us it was in great shape. he even showed us the right kind of brush to use for cleaning it ourselves later on. mason also cleaned off the chimney cap to make sure it was clear. he was very friendly and professional. overall, a really good chimney sweep service in hercules.

I highly recommend Mr Chimney Cleaning for anyone needing chimney sweep services. Mason came out to my home and did an excellent job cleaning my fireplace, making sure everything was spotless and treated my home with care. He was very knowledgeable and handled some needed chimney repairs right on the spot. Really impressed with their full service—everything was taken care of in just one visit!

When Chase and his coworker came out to our home in Hercules, I asked if they could match the bricks on our old chimney. They said they could use what’s called “antique” brick. The new bricks looked different from the original ones, but Chase made sure the work was solid and tidy with what he had available. During the removal, there was a little bit of mess in the family room, but Chase said he’d take care of it when he returned to install the liner for our wood stove. I called the next day to ask if the inside bricks could blend in better, and the person I spoke with agreed after seeing the pictures. In the end, the team did a careful job and made sure our chimney was safe and clean.

After a strong wind knocked one of my chimney caps off, I reached out to a local chimney sweep company on a Sunday. They got back to me right away, and Mason arrived the next day to check everything out. Mason was on time, explained the repairs in simple terms, and made sure I understood what needed to be done. He was friendly, professional, and really knew his stuff. The work was scheduled quickly and finished just as promised. Now I have two brand new stainless steel chimney caps, both with a lifetime warranty, and my brick chimney is repaired and leak-proof, with a 10-year warranty on the work. Mason even took before and after photos, so I could see exactly what was wrong and how everything looked after the repairs. I’m very happy with how everything turned out and impressed by Mason and the team’s workmanship. I highly recommend their chimney sweep services!

gregory was efficient, polite, and knew a lot about chimneys. he took his time to explain everything and answered all my questions about the fireplace and chimney sweep process. i was really happy with his work and how friendly he was. i hope to have gregory come back to clean and check my chimney again in the future.

When we remodeled our home in Hercules, we had to rebuild our chimney to meet new codes. After the work was done, the chimney wasn’t drawing smoke out properly. I reached out to a few places, but didn’t get clear answers until a friend recommended Mr Chimney Cleaning. Gregory and Chase came out to take a look and arrived earlier than expected, since they finished a previous job ahead of schedule. They explained everything they were doing to fix the chimney and made sure I understood each step. Both were very professional and friendly. Thanks to their work, my fireplace is now working great again. I’m planning to call soon to schedule a chimney sweep as well!

Douglas did a fantastic job. I had Mr Chimney Cleaning come out to inspect and clean both my chimneys this fall in Hercules. Douglas found some damage in the upstairs chimney that the home inspection missed when I bought the place. After getting fireplace inserts installed, I noticed the upstairs one wasn't working right. The company that put in the insert wanted to add a vent hole in my house, which didn’t make sense because the fire wouldn’t burn with the insert door closed. So I called for another inspection and cleaning. Douglas not only cleaned and checked everything, but he also took extra time to test the insert himself and figure out the problem. He even remembered me from his first visit, which really made me feel like a valued customer. The service was above and beyond what I expected!

I had an issue with two gas fireplaces that weren’t working right. Mr Chimney Cleaning sent out Mason, who quickly figured out what was wrong and fixed both fireplaces right away. He even took care of it on the spot without any extra charges. The service was fair, honest, and efficient. If I ever need help with my chimney or fireplace in Hercules again, I’ll definitely call them.

Gregory did a fantastic job! I needed a second opinion on some chimney repairs and reached out for help. Gregory came by the same day to inspect my chimney in Hercules. He was honest about what actually needed to be fixed and didn’t try to push extra work. The price was fair, and the repairs were finished quickly the next week. I’m completely satisfied and will definitely call again for any chimney sweep or repair needs in the future!

gregory and his crew arrived at my home to inspect my chimney, since i was having trouble with a leak. they gave me a really fair price and finished the chimney sweep and repair work in just a few hours. i got quotes from a few other companies, but this was definitely the best deal, and the work was done in a very professional way. highly recommend mr chimney cleaning for anyone needing chimney services.

we've had our chimney cleaned and inspected for a few years now, and every visit has been excellent. chase was our technician this time, and he made sure to give our fireplace and chimney a really thorough sweeping. the team is always professional, knowledgeable, and friendly—they explain everything so you know your chimney is safe to use. while the price is a bit higher than some, you really get peace of mind knowing certified pros are handling the job. i'd rather pay for that quality service than risk problems later. living in hercules, it's important to keep the chimney in top shape, especially with all the warm california days when the fireplace doesn’t get as much use, but still needs to be safe and clean. highly recommend these chimney sweep experts!

mr chimney cleaning did a really detailed and helpful inspection when we first called them, much better than others we checked with. so we had them come out again this summer in hercules for repairs. mason and the team relined two chimneys, replaced the crown, put in new flues, and did some small brick repairs and sealing. the office staff was friendly and quick to answer any questions, and everyone was efficient and respectful around our place. when there was a little issue with our fireplace doors, they quickly sent gregory out to fix it. i'm really happy with the service!

super friendly and professional service. the team arrived on time and got right to work sweeping the chimney, leaving everything spotless. chase showed us before and after photos of the chimney, which really helped us see exactly what was going on inside and what needed attention. all the information was explained clearly, and the pricing felt fair. overall, it was an easy and smooth experience. definitely planning to use mr chimney cleaning again for future chimney maintenance.

Both of my chimneys were thoroughly cleaned and inspected, and I received a detailed report with plenty of photos showing the work. The price was very fair for everything they did. If you’re in Hercules and need your chimney swept or checked, this company is a great choice. I highly recommend their chimney sweep services!

We highly recommend Mr Chimney Cleaning for anyone needing chimney sweep services. We first called them to clean the chimney and wood stove in our new home. Douglas and his team provided a detailed inspection that many other companies didn’t offer. They discovered that our wood stove was not only unsafe but also installed incorrectly, which could have caused problems down the line. Douglas treated us more like friends than customers, guiding us step-by-step through picking out a new stove, getting it installed, and making sure everything was safe and up to code. The job wasn’t easy because the previous installation was done poorly, but they handled it with professionalism and a lot of knowledge. As newcomers to using wood stoves, we really appreciated their clear explanations and honest advice. Their help made the whole process simple and stress-free. Now, thanks to Douglas, Chase, and Gregory, we have a safe, working wood stove and feel confident using it. We are happy to be lifelong customers!

i called a local chimney sweep in hercules because my chimney had a leak. gregory showed up right on time and was really friendly. he checked out the problem and explained that some tar, caulking, and crown repair on top of the chimney would help seal it up. he got to work that same day and let me know everything should be good, but to reach out if anything else came up. when it rained again, i noticed the leak was still in the same spot, so i called and gregory came back quickly to take another look. he added more caulk and made sure everything was sealed. after another rain, i saw the leak again, so i called for a third time. gregory was very responsive and agreed to come back as many times as needed to fix the issue. i really appreciate how reliable and dedicated they were, always making sure my chimney stayed safe and dry, especially with the hot hercules weather. they made the whole process easy and stress-free. highly recommend their chimney sweep services if you need help with leaks or any chimney problems.

we had a leaky chimney and called for help. they showed up quickly to check things out and gave us a fair estimate. the crew, led by mason, ended up doing more work than we thought would be needed, all for the same price. the repairs seem solid—no more leaks. while mason was here, he also inspected our chimney liner to make sure everything was safe. he showed us some great new fireplace options, and came back in just a couple of weeks to install one. honest, reliable, on time, and really nice to work with. we’re happy with the whole experience and would definitely recommend for anyone in hercules needing chimney sweep or repair services.
